Hope one of the spooders is added to Aberration later down the ladder, we already have a dragon on the map. Edit: After some observation, it isn't out of the question that one or a few disgruntled trollolos bought bots to rig the vote since the voting site doesn't require you to create an account. I was literally able to vote again after my previous vote but I didn't do it, I found that kind of fishy. I could be wrong. I don't understand why the vote can't just be left at that on this site where you need an account. Hope the developers change the creature to something more fitting then, at least, if the community doesn't get a fair re-roll. The majority is unhappy about the result on all announcement sites.6 points

Agree with this; I think it should be entered for every remaining map. Feels like the best chance to get it added likely won't be by winning, but by being a runner up on a number of votes, and praying it gets added as a 'repeated community favourite' bonus creature. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it to directly win one of the votes, but seems this community has too many people who just want yet another raptor variation on every single map - not really surprising as Ark is primarily a 'dino game'. A gliding-raptor that's similar to creatures we already have (deinonychus, rock drake, microraptor) winning is just so wild to me when the sauropod/ceratops entries quite rightly got obliterated in round 2/3 (because while great ideas, we have multiple versions of a similar design already). Personally I think with a 47:53% vote the best move would have been adding both..but oh well, too late for that now.5 points

I think they have the impression that ASA is already working They were never accurate in the information they gave, all the time their fantasies about ASA how wonderful it is. But so far, they only boast about concept art and blind their eyes with votes for a dino that will come out in the coming months or years. In WC/SG there are no factual statements, only childish boasting, no specifics.5 points

So can we get some kind of progress report on what the is going on with this game . Becuse U have had over 6 months to get this bull poop together we are tired of being dragged around like ur poopty teather on solo . Show us something worth looking at . Like a video of this Mysterious new game you're making. Monday, we will be in August when you guys were supposed to release the game the first time, but you screwed us again. A lot of people are getting tired of waiting on this bull poop ,stop showing us thing like dossiers from maps that we aint getting until the middle of next year. We don't care, we want to see that you're actually doing what you're saying you're doing. We wanna see gameplay screenshots something? You're the only poopty developers that do this bullpoop Any other game developer will give us something to show that they are progressing. You're wasting time making these damn dossiers and these new creatures. When you can be focusing on an actual game to put them in . Maevia Eureka should be added just like they did for Carcha as an extra, it has been in the top votes so many times and fits PERFECTLY for Aberration. Congrats to Yi Qi and if they make it similar to the submission it will be a dope creature.4 points

Very disappointed with this winner - yet ANOTHER raptor looking dino? Come on...I love raptors but even I think that's boring. While it's a perfectly servicable design it's still just more of what we have already...basically a microraptor, deinonychus, rockdrake crossbreed. Totally shocked it got this many votes - don't people want some more variety? I expected Maevia to lose to Chimera if anything... The way the voting works seems questionable, Maevia was clearly winning for the majority of the votes and has been popular in multiple community votes - at this point I really feel like it should be added as an 'honorable mention' bonus dino. It's very disappointed to see such an interesting/unique creature design being repeatedly screwed over like this.3 points

Personally, I will propose it for all the submissions. If it gets regularly in top 10 and finish in the top 3 at the end, it will give a good reason to WildCard to include it into the game as a bonus creature and also on all maps. I don't know a lot of creatures that finished in the top 3 several times except the gigantoraptor.3 points

Absolutely, we have a Maevia ally that will be taking over (mostly) for Maevia for the future maps, going to skip on the center because it's so crazily water focused with aquatic love potential, but even though I'm passing the crown down myself, Maevia still has too many that love her to give up ❤️ wanted to give all of you so many hugs and thanks for supporting her SO much too, it means so much to me!!! I never imagined she would make it so far! We all stand together for maevia!3 points

Congratz to Yi Qi But I'm pretty bummed, oh well, it's a shame the Jumping Spider not win, I really wanted it... To be honest the reason it didn't win is most likely similar to some other community vote... the way this voting system work, usually the majority first vote won't win. Like the Number of People who wanted The Jumping Spider most of all as their #1 is more than others. (6760) but since Jumping Spider was Top voted in the forums submission, many people who don't like it but like other things, put the spider at their very last Vote under everything else so the other creatures have more chance. this make the #1 most popular creature to not win when all the other votes are summed up together, the most popular is always the unluckiest one. I mean I can't blame people who do this, I also did this before for other creatures that were #1 in submission vote but i didn't like them, i put them in the very last even tho they were not the most disliked creature by me i just want them to have less chance and my preferred one to have more chance.3 points

Perhaps a bit like this? And for an ability it uses the bubbles to let you have a fully submerged underwater base? Aka bubble base? Or it could let non aquatic tames breath underwater by putting a bubble on their head?2 points

Hi sovira! Good to know you aren't scrapping it. But I have an idea, if you use it for the center you know how you said it was water based? There are a few species of water spider and one of then has a little bubble den and it carries air on its back in the form of a bubble. Maybe for the center maevia could do that and to tame it you would have to add air to its bubble den? (You don't have to do this just a suggestion) Like imagine the maevia now but with a few bubbles on it little body like a bubble scuba mask!2 points

Well there's some guy on the community crunch saying they pushed 200 rando friends to vote for yi qui (though probably just lying through their teeth because it's the internet 😆). Something as simple as one of the larger Ark streamers just mentioning it in passing/saying they wanted it to win could also be responsible - I felt it didn't have especially great concept art (compared to both spiders) and the low forum participation (only 7 pages vs 22/23 for the spiders) makes it seem the win came out of nowhere/wasn't from this community. Very bizarre... Just have to pray that fluffy spider can win a vote for one of the future maps. --- Edit as limited posts per day: I love how you only respond to small part of my posts. Yes that's a tiny amount (and I don't believe they did it hence the snarky comment). As for the other thread claiming that rankedvote can't be abused... It really boils down to your opinion on people (maliciously or not) sticking Maevia on rank 10, and that low ranking being allowed to influence the final vote. Is that technical abuse, like multiple votes? No. Is this system a horrible way to vote for a creature? I think so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but after reading through the rankedvote info, the spider winning round one outright means it had the most rank 1 votes - as in more players voted for Maevia to win than any other creature. People have every right to be mad that statistical tinkering after the first vote made it lose, as winning the first round isn't 'good enough' for it to win in this format of polling. It only lost by due to a bunch of people dumping it at rank 10 on their lists thereby eventually dragging it below Yi Qi (looks like it happened with Chimerarachne as well). And the thing is...I really have doubts on it ever winning, as if nothing else, there's likely a bunch of people with arachnophobia/who don't like spiders that will always automatically dump it on rank 10 and drag it down in the final rounds - this is honestly why I think Wildcard should highly consider adding it as a bonus/runner up creature (to bypass any spider phobias). It's clearly popular enough to be added (seeing as it technically won this round). (By all means though, if that isn't how the voting works then correct me/explain it better)2 points

Congrats Yi Qi, RIP koolasuchus. I liked the feather marking idea from the Yi Qi suggestion, but I won't lie I don't like the idea of another glider in Aberration even if it is strictly worse than the Drake. A massive part of the map's progression is getting a Drake to fully master travel. It's very possible that Yi could open the map up too early/without the dangers of getting the first Drake if it also keeps the stamina-recovering wall cling and the upwards dash.2 points

I never read the abilities anymore cuz many times wildcard has just ignored things which are put in (fair enough to them) and I don’t want to get hyped based on abilities that might not make it into the game. I always vote based on whether the creature looks cool or fun to play with2 points

Not scrapping it! I have another Maevia ally who will be taking maevia's crown up and I'll help them with editing and getting maevia back in, may have to tweak her for the other maps, I think Valguero (since it has an aberrant biome) will be her next best stop, but she might visit extinction too for the sunken forest biome! The center is next but she won't quite fit there as much, so maybe it gives her a lil break and takes a little bit of the heat off of her!2 points

leave it to the ark community to continue to add flyers, even on a map about cave creatures. a perfect opportunity for a cute spider but nope another bird creature. last win was another winged creature and now another. the center will be the same. i hate the ark community. all they vote for is flyers and bird like creatures.2 points

I have noticed that some creature submissions have great proposed ability ideas, but few read far enough to see them. I am thinking a very brief summery of the abilities before anything else would be beneficial. Such as for this Chimerarachne Yingi having a smithy saddle because no other aberrant creatures having one was probably overlooked. Since few bother to read the whole submission. So being able to craft high level blueprints on aberration is impossible without a smithy saddle. I am suspecting that people seeing the summary first, before the flavor text would help these more creative, and nuanced creatures to be noticed for their strengths along with their appearance. Short rant... This creature gave the possibility for adding in a "primative" incubator, since we are going to have to wait forever for gen 2 to be released to get the regular incubator. There was an opening for the spider milk mechanic to work on wyverns, and rockdrake, thus making this chimera appealing to all the players that wanted the bison. That is, if the devs took the hint. Plus the net gun feature, or we have to wait for gen 2 for the engram again. Then the fact that you can haul stuff with on demand, inexpensive zip-lines, or wall crawling. I am thinking nobody put all that together in their heads to see how useful that is. Hell, nobody realizes that the Sauropod this vote would have been the only stone gatherer that can HARVEST ITS OWN FOOD TO FEED ITSELF. The only one! That sauropod is basically a primitive stryder with a built in saddle forge. READ PEOPLE!... Rant over.2 points

Why does yi qi look like the rock drake in you all’s release of it, that’s great we really needed a twin to the already rock drake on aberration, if you devs are smart and have any type of brain, you would add Maevia eureka to the game like you did with the carcharadontasaurus, that jumping spider had been so many top 10’s and this was closest one yet but if y’all aren’t adding it in keep me updated because I just won’t buy the game until it is, because these creature votes seem very off, how does the one of the most wanted creatures, most peoples number 1 Maevia eureka not make in? At this point I’m questioning who you all have checking these votes and counting them, everyone else that feels the same way boycott Ark until we get Maevia Eureka, don’t buy ark ascended, that’s the way you get them to listen, you have to stop the cash flow for companies to listen, best regards to you wild card, drop the ball for me.2 points
