I get the complain, why they don't just start with 2 day delay from start. but then again, i don't get how people still get a day off after WC is doing the same 1-2 day to 1 week delay for every single map just don't get any off day or get it only 2-4 day before release if that is still possible.

brah, I never curse/insult people unless they my closest friend and we joking around. I never told him to shut up, I simply told him he is wrong coz he is talking as if Ark did not have mythical or fictional or fantastic creatures before. it was all there. And he is complaining about a canon story content dino right now too. he is not just focusing on Fantastic Tames DLC, Fantastic tame did not have a "lore" attached so while it's nothing surprising to have them in ark coz its easy to make it connect with lore. it currently is not connected to lore, so you can complain. but the whole concept of ARK is genetically engineered and artificially created creatures send to prepare survivors to defeat and overcome them. thats it. this is the very base concept of the ark, so if they can make wyvern and golem and phoenix and so many even more crazy future dino, why not a spooky horse ? And again, i did not try to tell him to not express himself, i just told him he is wrong if he think ark is mostly a dino game coz it wasn't since 2015 ! if you want to restrict it to dino game you can in a private server.

I am super hyped ! can't wait for it, and Gareth Coker Cooked again with the awesome music I love the Chinese Dragon btw, can't wait to tame one! I wonder if it got any connection with Mei Yin or just coincidence (since most of these creature in this map might be artificially evolved in some direction based on the people living there, so who knows)

Ark wasn't an "only" dino game since 2015 Phoenix and Wyverns, Rock drakes and nameless and tentacle monsters, giant godzilla and titans that shoot projectile and robots, little pets that evolve into big monster by eating element and space dolphins and mind controling little pets... and you are just noticing it at dreadmane release ? lmao Go host a Ark Sever yourself on old maps and restrict dino to the dinosaurs only and leave us alone to enjoy the actual ARK we love to play. ---------------------- btw I wonder if the Chinese Dragons have anything to do with Mei Yin being Chinese as far as I know

The hate toward AI art feels so funny to me As a programmer for ~15 years old, I know I'm losing a lot of job opportunity to AI the more AI advance, but that does not make me wish it wouldn't, you gotta get on with the technology. As for AI Art, it should be the same. Problem of AI Slop is that it is a slop, it's just a random guy making a simple prompt and pumping out slop, those can be looked down upon and frowned on if that random guy is claiming to be "an artist" lol But AI use itself should not be looked down upon, AI should be used as a tools to improve productivity and ease of use, give people more opportunity. Like this artist here, the Color of this work takes a lot of time, time that could be used to draw another sketch or more art. the inspiration and the soul is still with them on their art work, what is the problem of leaving the coloring to an AI assistance. It's like me as a programmer, AI help speed my work so much, I know the code, I know how to write the whole thing by myself, but some repeated things that i already done, can be quickly added by AI, then I review it, improve it if needed and move on, saving many hours i can spend on better things. Now if your main complain is about losing job opportunity to AI, All I can say to you is: Improvise, adapt, overcome!

I'm sure there will be many new ones as well that are not early accessed. They only released 2 Dino so far, Veilwym and This new one. Elderclaw and Drakeling are not Lost Colony Creature, they are Fantastic Tame that are just bonus given for free to Lost Colony Owners as Pre-Order Bonus. so we basically saving like 10$ by Pre-ordering Lost Colony + getting 2 Lost Colony Creature early (Veilwym and this new one)

brother... killing Wandering Titan is not even that useful, why would i even bother kill it ... even if Giga is better to kill it, a whole end game dino that take 2 week to raise only being good for 1 specific thing is not good at all I killed Wondering Titan like 1 time along with others and it gave nothing good and i just never tried again lol maybe some ppl like to kill it for EXP but i can't care for it. Every other thing you might wanna do for loot Carcha is better, like Veins or OSD coz Carcha is just too good for these, he got the speed boost and the regenerative boost, making him always full hp doing waves after waves. I remember doing OSD on a Giga back in ASE before Carcha come out, and you know even with a Capped Saddle, it would lose HP eventually, after 10 Wave or so at best, you had to keep some dino not killed stuck on some spike or something, then spend several minute heal the Giga with Snow Owl coz it would be very low hp by then. let alone the fact that Giga is slower and wont get speed buff. as someone who did multiple 18+ OSD on Giga and later on Carcha, Giga is completely useless now for OSD. and Meat run as well coz Carcha Speed buff so good for meat run. and that's all i am using Carcha and giga for anyway.

I completely stopped using Giga completely since Carcha with decent stat released in ASE ! Giga is useless now and need to be bought up to be around equal to Carcha. I also hate slow dino and Giga is so slow compare to Carcha without much benefit so I simply didn't touch any Giga in ASA at all.

Ah what's with this rotten luck I only played 2 game regularly in last 10 years, ARK & WoW. And somehow you guys constantly align the release of a new Map on Ark with the release of a new Patch on WoW several time now WoW new Patch is 8th October. so literally the same time release since ARK always release late at night/morning next day. I wouldn't mind if it was before or after, but so many time it's both on same week

Holy Cow, this Ancient Tree Bear looks so cool ! As a long time (+20 years) Druid Player in WoW, I'm loving it Edit : Oh I was thinking of insta-buying it but it seems I don't even have to buy it since I already own Lost Colony lol Thanks WC for the "Free" creature

Awesome news. Specially hyped for... well almost everything. But the New Half Structures & Egg Incubator is a Big one Astra update is awesome too with I assume Open World Mini-boss and I wonder how the Ocean part gonna be ! Then all the Lost Colony Content Update which I hope gonna be awesome Hope it all goes well without any major problem so the team can enjoy a nice rest and achievement !

Finally Breedable Griffins with all the other strong dino that are out and breedable, it really didn't make any sense if they were still not breedable. so good job on that 2 more week left until the original deadline for Unreal Engine 5.5 update now let's bet on how long the delay will be I say 1 week personally
