After another brutal day at work was glad to chill out on Ark. Continued the base move shinanigans. Started of by going off on a organic poly run, harvesting up the matis in the desert in order to build my new industrial forge. Hit up the desert drops while I was at it and lucked out on an mc pump shotty bp (should be cheaper than my asc bp and better than my current mc bp) and an asc yuty saddle, and the deathworms were like 10 a penny so killed a few of them too. Got back to base and crafted up the forge and a few vaults. Then went on another metal run and another poly run to craft up even more vaults. 10 vaults might be enough but shall craft up more, cant have too many. All ready to install into the new base. Then I traded the neighbour for a breeding pair of bulbdogs. Been desperate for a lightpet on Ragnarok, its just so dark a lightpet would help alot. Would love to get my hands on shinehorn or maybe even a featherlight but bulbdog will have to do. Cost me a trip through the wyvern trench to grab alot of eggs. Not sure of the fate of most of the eggs. Not really sure if the trade was worth the trench run risk but honestly didnt really care was good fun. Also keep hoping to find a nice blue fire wyvern but never anyluck there. The game didnt even crash once tonight ! What a great evening hahaha

Starting to raise some drakes and one popped with 7k hp pre imprint. shame it distributed as much into hp as food and oxygen.

ArkCrossCluster1 - Ragnarok Didn't do too much yesterday as I got off work late, and spent most of my 2 hours in game talking to a friend. I'm going to farm the land trophies while my homie farms the aqua trophies and artifacts for Alpha Dragon on Rag. It'll be my first time on this specific boss but i'm super excited for it as it gives a mountain of element, in which i'll get a cut of. Additionally, i'll be able to take the transmitter engram on this character so that I can use any of the dozens of transmitters that some old, dusty, defeated clan laid all over the Center map in this cluster. I'll likely end up doing the boss enough with him to get the Tek Genny/Trough for the breeding base. I'm hoping it works out!!

Well it was not the best day I have had in Ark, truth be told. I have recently restarted, character transfer, on Ragnorak. My base in Viking Bay has been coming along beautifully. I have, had, a huge stone dino pen and taming pen made of stone and a lovely few tames. 3 lvl 200+ Argys, 337 Carno, 151 Mammoth, 310 Trike, 282 Patchy, 280 Anklyo and 342 Deod. I was messing around in the taming pen looking at improvements when I heard stomp stomp stomp......mmmm T-Rex. Well I will just hid in here because its stone. Chomp chomp.....stupid T-Rex is trying to get through my walls.....pffft idiot. Wait!?!? What is happening to my walls!!!! Oh hello Mr 173 Alpha T-Rex. Lvl 94 me is now T-Rex poop. Needless to say he ate his way into my pen and and battle insued. When the dust settled I have 1 Argy, 1/2 a taming pen and 1/3rd to 1/4 of a dino pen left......the the T-Rex is no more because what he thought was....no that's the little dog. But yeah so I spent my time fighting off a alpha T-Rex and saving dinos. This weekend we rebuild.

Aberration First i did was taming 4 Roll Rats. Lowest was 15 and highest 95. Finally no more repairing all the Chainsaws^^. The Saws are faster but reapiring is a pain with all the Pearls i need. One of the Roll Rats got a nice blue body. At the Weekend i found near my base a 45 Basilisk. I build 4 Stone Walls and surrounded the basilisk with them. Got near to him and jumped off and on on my Rock Drake. Basilisk got Aggro. i dropped the Egg near him. Took him some minutes to eat it. So i ever jumped off and on and used the whip to get the Eggs back. Finally he eat the first egg, but bite me. i Forgot stimberrys and got knocked Out. My kid came to help. He guarded me when i got knocked out again. Cause i was impatient and jumped every time and grabbed the Eggs. I Think i must tame a few more Basilisk till i know how it goes. Finally after 10 - 15 minutes or so he ate all 3 eggs and was tamed. Now he is guarding my Behemoth Gate. I saw a nice blue level 10 Paracer, so i tamed it. Around the basilisk taming i saw a level 50 blue paracer, so lured him near my base and tamed him too. i cannot resist blue Dinos . Thats the reason i tamed a level 145 Iguanodon. Found him near the place where my boat lie off. So i swam near him (other side of the River of the Boat) and shoot with the xbow on him. Ran back to the river and crossed it. On the other side i wanted to look how close the Iguanodon is. But guess what, he swims faster then me and was hitting me like i was pizza dough. i ran up the ramp of the boat, he followed me and trapped himself in the cage of the boat. I ran up to the Ceiling and tranqued him. Next blue Dino for me :). My Highlight Midweek was that my Neighbour quit gaming. His Base was gone. And all the Pillars near my base finally dissapeared. As i where at work i asked my kid to pillar everything at the river where the Neighbours where. All except the Troughs and 2 wooden Lifts are gone. My kid pillared everything ^^. After work i made 100 stone fence foundation and doubled our area around the river. At the Downside of the Cliff where the Fence ends i place 2 Behemoth gates in a 90 Degree. Now i can mate all my Spinos at Once. Still had no time to breed more Magenta Variants. My Kind found a Lvl 35 basilisk at the River we live but far away from our base, it is deep in Spino/Karkino territory. So he build 4 Stone Walls and trapped him. We will try to tame him when 2x weekend is. I think the only reason is cause we see a blue tail. Yesterday as i was about to log out the tribe who helped me a lot asked me if i want to get pregnant. How i can say no to so a such nice offer They got a trap outside the radioactive zone. Cause it is the first time i get pregnant i forgot to bring a shield. The 130 Reaper Queen was lila glowing but hit me a few times. I remebered she can grab u from ur RockDrake. So i jumped On and Off him till she grabbed me. Yay, finally pregnant. Back to base I killed all i get along the Rivers for a few Minutes. I have now 10 Hours left and got 14 Level in maybe 20 Minutes. I Think i will kill more Spinos the next days. But i really need to find Reaper for the gland. Or i trade them. A nice Week on Aberration.

So yesterday me and my dad FINALLY got the levels up to 150 (they were at max 30 previously). My dad took the raft to Skull Island to get metal. I told my dad twice that he would have to bring a flyer to get up to the metal. When he arrived, he said: "Oh, looks like there isn't a way up without a flyer!" . So I went back to base from looking for an argent and got his Pteranodon, then flew back to Skull Island with it in tow. When we got there, I decided that I may as well help with the metal gathering, so we began the harvesting. On my first trip back from the forge on our raft, I noticed 2 bats flying above the lava. We engaged, and the 60 flew after me and the 15 flew after my dad on his ptero. I barrel rolled it a couple times but my bird didn't have much stamina (tamed at wild level 28) so I decided to just kill it with my ascendant bow. It was doing 248 dmg as opposed to my bird's barrel roll's 75, so it died after a couple of shots. My dad, in the meantime, was content to leave his bird to fight the lvl 15 bat while gathering metal. A few seconds later, he said "Uh oh, my bird's getting really sick... come help!!!!!!" I rushed over but too late. My dad was like "Oh, that sucks, whatever..." because we can get up to 150 tames now. We did a little more metal farming, then went back to base on the raft after avoiding a Leedsichthys that was hanging out in a shallower place than I would have thought possible, but ok. Then we went to look for a new Pteranodon for my dad, and since the dino levels were much higher than before, I decided to get myself a new Pteranodon as well. I pointed out a 95 really close to base, and so my dad went for him. I wanted a 100+, and found a 100. I was in 2 minds about taming it, but it was attacked by a raptor, so that settled my mind. After a couple of minutes, I lucked out on a 140. Bola'd him, KO'd him, got some prime from a Diplo, and tamed him. After that, I knocked out a 90 carno with a single 10x tranq arrow from a mod, then logged.

So you on the west coast then ? Anywhere near the artifact in the gorilla ruins or am I in the complete wrong spot ? If I am that way I shall keep an eye out for you or other people closeby, but I am trying to avoid blue ob if at all possible. Love the courtesy off thinking about other base locations for lag,I always worry about that when I set up a base, I dont want to annoy the locals lol Also if you need a hand setting up give me a shout if not no worries.

Some of these stories are amazing lol, just came back to Ark for myself as I played on a friends account and have been away for 8 months to see most of the fun "Ark moments"/glitches are still around. Nothing like perfect taming a max Rex to have its first steps to follow you sees it falling through the floor to never be seen again. It is a lot of fun though even with these crazy weird happenings. Started the night off by doing a bit of farming. Went about the highlands harvesting dead basil (oil), getting crystal and metal for a fabricator. The other night I pillaged some beaver dams for a good amount of CP and pearls. After a small remodel of my house boat, I gathered a bunch of Narcoberry to start stockpiling my taming supplies for when I finally settle in a base location. Happy with my bit of progess I set out on my main goal for today: finding a base location. I went about prefabbing some stone buildings before I venture out into the world. I knew the map was populated ans that most of the common spots would be occupied already, a nice change from my SP adventures this last year. Fast forward 4 hours of flying around the map on my obnoxiously green argy. I saw some neat bases (cool base behind a waterfall in Canyon!!) and had a lot of frustrations due to the amount of (empty) bases ive seen in spots id love to occupy. Nevertheless I found a spot, it was a toss up between two areas: Heru Ur Rise (by beaver dams) and Two'chuck forest (between blue and ocean side of canyon) after an hour of flying back and fortb I decided on twochuck forest. Many times I had a good spot and as i went to inspect the area (good pve tactic) id find a huge inactive base around near me and have to look elsewhere. I dont want to cause lagg for another if not needed nor do I want to endure lagg every time I leave my base either so it seems twochuck forest above the lake with the ruin on it is my home. I will inspect further when im on next but I did a pretty extensive check. If anyone on the server does find someone near me before I do, let me know I threw together a small stone box to store my bulbdog and argy until next time, then ill start working on my actual base and scout a water pen for boat storage & get my feet wet with water dinos (hah) next time im on.

Yesterday, tamed 13 Ovises, seemed like someone was moving out, because it usually is hard to tame even one, but at that time window there were a lot of slots opened, then I went off. After a few hours I logged back in and the server was back to tame capped, as I predicted. -- Today tamed a raptor lv 45 using lambchops, I was VERY lucky a slot got opened in this tame capped situation and from 20 lambchops needed to tame it, the raptor had been starved by the tame capped situation and ate 17 lambchops continuously when this slot opened and I only needed to wait for a bit for the other 3 lambchops. Free tame slot in tame-capped server lol. I call that luck because the other day, maybe a week or so ago I was taming a Lv 180 Stego for 14hours while it should've been tamed in 7 and a half hours, and in the end it's not even tamed because I was already several hours late from sleep so I had to give up. Before I went to bed, I had set up everything like narc-ing and putting more food hoping a miracle that in a few hours a slot got opened, but no, when I got back online the stego was not tamed and weirdly gone from my trap. Somebody might have killed it or it despawned.

Spotted a lvl 145 saber near my trap on the frozen tooth, so i trapped and tranqed it. While i was taming the 145 i saw a 150 saber. The 145 finished taming so i started trying to catch the 150, but i ran into a whole pack of sabers and then a giga came in... All the sabers dead. Saw another lvl 150 but this time an argent (oh lucky day). It was very bloody from the giga i quess, but i knocked it out in my trap anyway after waiting a while. After about half an hour a pack of sabers came my way. Took care if them with my argent, but one sneaky saber went behind the trap and killed my already low hp tame. Trapped ANOTHER argent, 135 this time. While getting prime meat on my 245 argent, killing everything, i get knocked off it by a raptor while i was fighting a stego. I respawn at a sleeping bag near my trap stuck in a rock.. After 2 min being stuck i see a message that my lvl 245 argent, wich i had since the beginning, got killed by an allosaurus RIP
