Newly named and consolidated cluster, Western Canadian ragnarok ranch/island paradise/scorched limited Been playing alot since then Christmas break. The group decided to ascend the island and write off scorched by the new year. Alot of time was spent running the artifacts and collecting the tributes for each alpha boss. Tribemate had been busy developing the army for each battle prior so we had a good healthy set of mega, theri, and allos that were used for the brood, dragon, and megapith respectively. He did well in raising them and the yutys we rode into battle. Flawless and quick finishes. Overseer went a bit different. We went yuty only with flak and alot of shotty and rifle rounds. The cave was surprisingly easy. We ran passed the first giga and only killed what we needed to kill. The last giga we ran by and pulled into the lava. Port up and engage overseer. It took time due to the lack if dps but we systematically tried to boost, attack, dodge the dismount ray and the cluster of defense units. We lost one yuty and he was left on foot like mid battle. I kept close watch over him and provided support for the other while he focused on attack. It worked out pretty well and we managed to take it down without further issues. Yay alpha ascension weeeooo. Finally done with the island we move our efforts to scorched. We set out simply to get manticore, notes and chronologically move to the next ark...but I'll continue that later.

Western Canadian Extinction Edition. It’s been a while since I’ve made a post here. Red dead is one hell of a drug boys. Then there’s hockey. Them flames weeeooo! Anyway Extinction had been collecting dust since release until over this past weekend. Spent a lot of time on extinction. The guys had been in the server making a base and doing things, I decided to give it a whirl and start learning. Saddle up darrath my lightning wyvern, some outpost base supplies, an extra transmitter and take a transmitter trip to this new world. Stsrt out in sanctuary, find myself a terminal, mount up darrath, scope out their base which is set up in the middle of sanctuary, and off to the nw to start our exploration. Ended up at the forest terminal...omg what a pile of experience that was. Sooo much meat and teeth. Noted the area and continued on to get back to the surface and continue exploring. We fly over Kings peak and the red forest which was swarming with corrupted dinos.....worst nightmares....picked off a few gigas and Rex which was invigorating, landed in a safe area for a stamina break. Had about 10 seconds left and all of s sudden the sun disappears and all I see is flesh and corruption. Was like DILO there’s no gigas or anything around and as I flew off in s panic I realize it’s a friggin death worm. Allllllrighty then we’re just going to carry on an focus on exploring lol So continuing the exploration east across the north well away from wyverns and worms lol. Fly through the white zone. See the magnamar thing and say screw this and carry on all the way around the map and complete my loop over the green zone. Decided to set up on a little island at the bottom of the ramp. Not ideal but I really have no concern. Little resistance from both players and dinos and I’ll own the forest titan befor long ? ideally it’s just a resource hub to drag back to rag. So set up some gates and built an 8x8x4 box with 2 floors and a Dino gate. Set up a gen, 4 vaults, a smithy, fabricator and Chembench. Placed the transmitter in the middle within reach of everything. Yay. For the next little bit I ponder getting these new tames. Desert zone and a Velonasaur objective one. Locate one and lure it into a pen. Still pulling quills out me arse after that damn they’re feisty I’m stoked now! Tame it up and carry it all the way back to base. What a haul. Lol so after that I was like man that’s too much imma just screw around base for a few. This is when I learned (decided to read about it finally lol) about the lovely new item duo....the cryo fridge and pods. ?????????? I dunno about you all but I’m beyond stoked about these. I tamed a couple more critters. (1 more lvl 483 velo and a Gacha pair) in the pokeball they go and back to base. So easy. As I thought about the possibilities of storage and quickly rush over to rag and start what I called operation consolidation. I built 6 cryo fridges and 88 pods. Battle Rex’s theri snd yutys have individual fridges. In the pods they went and one by one into cold storage. Set myself up a personal storage fridge and poof all my pets safely secured. All said and done I now no longer need the 1500 plus piece storage shed I had built to store s few gigas, spinos, snd other larger critters. Burned up all 88 pods and I have maybe 6 more tames to store st this base. Frame rates have improved and I cannot wait to start demoing the excessive amount of useless structure to improve on the Rates further. After this I had to shut er down lol but what an adventurous couple days. Now my question is why the hell did we not have the leash or the cryogenic technology since day one?! Daaayum

I'm in the same mode. A buddy convinced me to pick up skyrim again and I've been playing a mage with some decent mods. Pm if you're interested in some cool ones. My ark problems are no motivation and excessive loose ends and half projects, going to do something and deciding not to last minute. We have 5 maps in our cluster. I own 3 and the other servers are run and owned by 2 other real life friends. Breediing operations have left my server and i now have to consolidate replaced and out dated breeders. Just cant get into cleaning up lol. Alot are outside and sometimes i just wish someone would pass by snd off them for me haha. IOver the last 2 weeks I've played 2 days. Me and another fella went sea taming. I'll admit that I am very unfamiliar with sea tames. Never had a desire to explore the sea till recently. We did 2 fishing trips. We only have a basili thats lvl 240 and a rsft to fish with so he took the raft and followed my lead. Main goal was mosa. We're picky with our tames and only want high lvl. 466 is the lowest we will go for. We only found a 183 and killed it. After that we ran into a pair of plesi. Excellent one was 466 and the other was 180 something. I separate them and kill off the lower level and we start taking down the other plesi. When she decided to run she lodged her self on a rock spire quetz style. Down it goes. He's got the raft above and goes to work swimming back and forth checking on it. I'm keeping watch. There was a high level 380 some dunky lurking aboot and came close a couple of times but she tamed up I believe at 680. Stoked as it's my first plesi. We were still good to go after another tame and we were after a male plesi. We split up after a while not being able to find anything. I scour Viking bay west to blue spire and tackle a llvl 50 mosa. He says he found basili. Lvl 483. I divert to his location just east of Viking bay in the large rock formations. We tackle the mantas, get settled and he starts taming. It some how ended up parallel to the beach and never moved lol stupid easy tame. Sad part is at about quarter way tamed I spot a 499 mega event red lurking closer. We want it but dont have the supplies so we had no choice but to lay it to rest. Basili tames out to 700 some and we float back to the base and call it a night.

I'll have to post a pic of that 911 spino i hatched. Black with white trim along the sail with red eyes and belly. Spinos are one dino that are imo gorgeous with black and white or black and red. ?

I don't always drink on a work night, but when i do i drink for everyone ? Half a 60 oz. Yeaaaaah.... Yesterday in ark I manually started the servers since Xbox has issues right now. Made sure there was food and logged out. We'll see how the weekend goes

Hahaha I don't ever do that either. Just apparently decided to send er. It's absurd for a reason. I want to fear something. Lvl 500 dinos keep the map alive. You're not going to fist fight a lvl 500 rex like most other servers seem to allow lol. Have you tried taming a high level giga or the like? That's a challenge on its own but hey to each their own.

Formerly bigbearsgameoftames now the omega project - ragnarok ranch - unofficial Xbox. Managed to get on for a couple days. Did some storage upgrades and got a bit of taming breeding and hatching done. Cold storage. We've become a bit capped for cold storage and I've been trying to plan a place to get it done. Well I finally decided to add a section in the bottom of the turret tower above the forge. We originally had 4 fridges for eggs, kibble, perishables, and jerky. We now have 13 fridges with room for more. We moved all the eggs and such up to the tower and repurposed the original 4 to hold produce and jerky for the cooker. Single egg fridges for rex, and theri boss breeds and one for wyvern and drake eggs. Taming wise we had a mixed day. First goal was a high level male spino. Befor we left i was on the way back from blue ob 2hen i stumbed across a 550 male tek stego. I grab it and take it to the pen to tame. Came out low 800s. Next We fly to the chasm for our search. He finds a 430 that he traps and starts to tame. I keep searching and stumble across a 480 male just around the corner. He tamed his just in time to trap the other. Came out 670 the other 724. On the trip home we.were venturing up the path to the rope bridge when we came a cross a 558 female tek stego. Delighted by the sight I tske the spinos he picks up the stego and heads to base to rush over to the other server to run ascension. When I get back 5o base I look in the pen and it's open...male stego still there. Turn around and see a tek carcass....daaaaaamn we left the gate open and she met the turrets I guess. Kinda moped around base smelting metal, burning wood, making spark powder and gunpowder to produce advanced rounds. Hatched a tek rex from 892 parents. Came out 911 with 160 points in melee. So crafted and babysat all the while drinking whiskey and cokes.....til 230 am....gotta be up for 5 to go to work. Was a rough day...why I did it is just as mysterious as to why ark still has bugs.

Yes castle swamp. Go south from the broken bridge along the cliff line (where the bridge starts on the cliff side not the castle side) follow it and you'll run into a tunnel on your left hand side.

Lol I cooooould tell you but then it's spoiling all the fuuuuun. ? There's 2 water entrances from that same pearl tunnel, one on the north cliffs east of Viking bay, one in or around the castle, and lastly the swamp. Yaaaaaaaaasssss

That cave has 5 entrances and is massive. Loads of fun to get lost or trapped in lol. Lots of things that hurt live there. I use that pearl tunnel myself for for my runs. I tske a Basili, flippers, tek helm and a stack of element, but have done it with multiple tanks in the earlier days. Nitrado - gameoftames - ragnarok Minimal game time still cause of the summer and work. It's almost a chore to keep the critters fed. The cluster is rather active now across all the maps too and I'm missing out lol. Such is life. Everyone's tales of the ark keep things fresh

Get 20 just to be sure! Haha Been frolicking amung the sun and grass so I haven't been on much. Over the last week or 2 we've hatched 16 new rex, tamed a high level tek rex and flesh rex, found high level mates for both those rex, bred said rex, picked up 2 high level allo and just been focusing on getting boss supplies ready to go.

Big Bears Game of Tames - Ragnarok -unofficial xbox1 This week I got lucky with some play time....and work IRL. I'm still on a turret production spree and I need mass amounts of them thar electro board thangs, so objective one was again angler or just run pearls with tek helm and flippers...so soon I was on my basili diving into the underwater cave. I happened to enter near sunset so she got pretty dark. I gotta say the tek helm with night vision sure makes them pearls pop. Managed to get back to the ship with 16k some pearls. Should be good for a bit. Dispatched some sea scorps for black pearls and ventured back to beta base. Back at base I snapped together some spark boards and made some poly from leftover obsidian. Pillaged the locals for CP and produced some metal structures (foundations, railings, lights and such.) Objective 2 kinda came spur of the moment. Decided to start my angler quest and ventured up to the not so cold region and scoped for penguins. Found 3..270 male..40 female...and an 300 juvi. WHY ?! None the less made 2 trips to drop them off and tame them up. First tames in a while. 5 eggs to date now weeeooo. Next on the list was metal runs and producing heavy turrets. Made 8 more and placed them around the base. Reset some lighting and again pillaged the locals for CP. I did a tour of the base again and decided to start making consistent defence layers. Turrets atm should dispatch most threats, but if they get in the valley there's not too much else to hold back attackers, but i didn't tell you that lol. In the front i layed out a fenceline with foundations to put up a 2 high metal railing that I plan to outline with spikes. Most of the metal structures i produced went into expanding the foundations out to the fence line. Finished that up and went out to do a tek rex tour to get again no avail. That was pretty much it. Pics to folllowww. Today though we advanced the cluster. my buddy who has an island server joined the cluster and i put up a scortched earth server so we officially have 4 maps now which is lovely. Just have alot of map settings and drops to tune in yaaaaay ? Excited to expand though haha. Until next time. Stay frosty.

Alot of people generalize Extinction as "the last dlc" because it's the end of the story. The finale. Is it really the last dlc? No, there'll be more mod maps, but extinction is likely to be the last we pay for.
