  1. @Delran, I'm absolutely gutted to hear that this will be the last submission for our beautiful Maevia. 🥺 I wanted to thank you and @Sovi both for the wonderful work and dedication you've put into this gorgeous creature. 🥰 We never know where life may take us and I'm hopeful that this time she will WIN! But.... and this is a monumental BUT, if she doesn't, perhaps things might transpire that in the future, she may yet be given the spot light she so deserves. 😁 Either way, I am grateful to have been able to be a small part in the journey, following your progress from map to map and now (finally realising why I could never vote before) actually making my voice heard. 👍 Take my vote... And run little floofy spider. 🥰

  2. While for most votes i was pretty indiferent towards maevia i quite like this itteration, on scorched to me It was kidna there, for aberration koolasuchus, yi-qi and chasmosaurus were higher but in this one it's actually my third pick, just bellow darwinopterus and dreadnogthus, im not sure if maevia Will win (dread is going extremely hard rn) but if It doesn't i wouldn't be mad if they gave her the charch treatment.

  3. Why do we need a steam if we are console players? Why did it suddenly become needlessly complicated. Whatever happened to just letting us put the saves on our host now we have to buy a whole server just to save stuff that we've had for years? Please tell me they don't think this is going to appease their player base that's already on thin ice to begin with. I don't even know what to do with this I'm a console player if I wanted to play on a computer I would be a PC player. So I'm just looking at this like it's a whole other language which sucks cuz I've been saving multiple bases for a while now. And that looks like Ark is literally punishing me for my dedication to the game cuz it looks like I'm not even going to get the stuff I've been rendering for months. This just makes me think I want a refund and to get rid of the game completely versus I would have at least had a few weeks left of joy exploring the server and other people's bases but not looks like Ark has taken that too. What is the point at this point they are literally messing up at every turn they went from over 50,000 views to less than 10,000 on the community crunches alone and they're about to lose the last 10,000 that are left. It's already bad enough that they have nothing for the new game now they're turning the old game into nothing but a money grab

  4. So they screwed console players entirely! And they purposely withheld the information about single player saves until the end, knowing it would further piss off console players. Still not understanding why console players can't save their official server content as an non-dedicated server. But i can accept that if true but seems to me this is a move to push people to their business partner (who they are in massive debt to) Nitrado. Think of the console players who have been keeping their maps and severs going assuming they'd be able to save the content. They could have been informed months ago and saved time and effort. This is why so many are walking away from Ark entirely and refusing to support Ark 1.5 aka ASA. You let the biggest fans of your game hang onto their console bases only to tell them they have no way of saving their content unless they continuously pay your business partner! If anyone still thinks this company is going to deliver a game worth playing by October I have some magic beans to sell you as well. If you want further proof of how wrong they are towards gamers keep in mind that this game that goes offline in just a short time and won't allow it's console community to keep it's saves outside of forking over more money....is still for sale at full price in the xbox store, with no warning about the servers going offline!!

  5. Another 10/10 Shockai creation! One of these really gotta win. Actually, Shockai if u see this I think it'd be a great idea to collaborate either some modders (maybe Garuga and Upfromthedepths) and together make a mod adding in all of your fantastic submissions. The Sauroposiedon, Ornimegalonyx, Miracinonyx, Armadillosuchus, Cotoylorynhcus, and more!

  6. Okay I guess everyone should have the chance to embarrass themselves and this is your time to shine today. There is no shame in not knowing something but I am surprised how confident you are. Short answer: The only limitations you have on official are the Dino Level Limit which is 450/500 depending on the creature and 255 per stat and you wouldnt even need negative mutations for it, you can easily just get this with plain mutation stacking. There is a reason why Level limitation of 450/500 exists because wildcard is aware that people love breeding and spend their precious lifetime looking at dinosaur butts waiting for eggs. Follow the advice of the others, watch some videos. I heard there is one channel that explains it quite well. Maybe read the wiki or talk to some breeders that did more than just mating two dinos and called it a day.

  7. IMPORTANT: The current roadmap for Maevia is being discontinued. Due to outside circumstances that have suddenly transpired, Extinction will be the Maevia's last submission within these creature votes for ASA. To all of the loyal Maevia fans that have been behind Sovi and now myself, your support has meant the world to both of us! Thanks again for rallying behind this awesome creature we've all come to love over these last several votes! [Idea/suggestion by Shadlos, but we agree entirely with the concept.] (Below is a way for the different turrets to have their own clear strengths and weaknesses.) [Smaller/Lighter tier turrets] Highest rate of fire that also allows you to keep all movement abilities with no restrictions. However, all damage inflicted by these turrets are reduced by a certain % to compensate for the higher rate of fire while maintaining full movement capability. [Larger/Heavier tier turrets] Highest damage output of all turrets available. Something of a slower, moveable siege attacker with this tier of turret attached. The drawback to this is at the expense of drastically slowing your movement speed, disabling your ability to climb, jump, etc, and a severely reduced rate of fire. 🕯️Dossier!🕯️ "If there's one thing I can say about Maevia eureka, you do not want to be caught in its sights! I once witnessed a jumper locking onto its prey with the most incredible accuracy, lunging at it with lightning speed and within the blink of an eye, its prey was being saved as a snack for later. They seem to have the genes of a few other spiders like that of the ogre spider, as it can cast a gathering of its webbing along with a little dab of the venom droplet it keeps stored on its head, working that into its web to create paralytic bolas that seem to render its prey unconscious. I have reason to believe the hairs that grow on its back legs came from the peacock spider, but due to its need for protection, it also uses these 'feathers' as a menacing face that can scare off large predators, I've seen some tribes set up posts that they can hang from around the fronts of their bases. I will say one thing is for certain. Though they are nearly the size of a dire bear, they are quite the cuties, especially for being a spider. There is a certain intelligence you can see when you look into their eyes. I just can't place it, but they make truly remarkable companions with the ability to rapidly scale walls, caves, cliffsides, and the like. By no means are they a beast of burden, however they make up for this with their abilities to constrict or assassinate their targets. Maevia Eureka can take down much larger prey with its torpor inducing bola, the net cast, and this makes them remarkable allies for taming other creatures. Here on Extinction in particular I’ve witnessed the Maevia variant present actively protecting survivors from other creature threats. Whether this surprising, but welcome, protective behavior is due to a potential coexistence with humans from the past, or stems from their species’ understanding that allying with survivors, rather than attacking on sight, gives both the best chance at survival, I do not know. But who am I to question this heroic creature that has saved the lives of other survivors, as well as my own, on numerous occasions? Their intervention during confrontations in the wild has been a complete lifesaver." Hello there! I've been a huge supporter of the Maevia ever since I first saw its initial entry several creature votes ago. I'm not the original author/creator, which 100% belongs to Sovira and their awesome design/art/etc. I'm working collaboratively with them and posting in their stead to the forums so that they don't have to deal with things on that end due to outside factors in their personal life. However, there is no need to worry! Sovira will still be aiding Maevia from behind the scenes with new designs and the like for future map variants. - Delraz “Maevia Eureka is the jumping spider which is said to have lived once between 23 and 15 million years ago, and it’s now back for Extinction! Once more giving us the opportunity to possibly ride around on jumping spiders in the game we all know and love, Ark! I want to point out how much I appreciate those of you who've stood by and supported our jumper, yes ours! We stand together with this! It has been an uphill battle fighting against those who automatically drop Maevia to last place due to phobia reasons, which I do receive a lot of dislike for outside of here 💔 This has also been the case with our other dear spider friend, Yingi, and the snake Gigantophis from another vote. Spiders and snakes are generally the most hated creatures on Earth, after all. The jumping spider is quite fortunate that they are viewed as so cute to many who normally fear spiders! These are my thoughts on how Maevia eureka could fit into the world we play in, in a way that reflects real life jumping spiders combined with genetic modifications from other spiders, and how they might fit into Ark in a fun and meaningful way that reflects other creatures of Ark and how important each and every one of these creatures is. I felt that, as Maevia is more of a taming companion, this gives us a different way to tame creatures using a non-harmful method! As we all know, Ark is anything but hospitable in the slightest, there are many risks you take while engaging with your targets due to the fact that everywhere in Ark can be quite chaotic at any moment so having to be weary of your surroundings at all times is one thing, but the larger the creature, the weaker the bola... You may find yourself having to maneuver around an area and keep your targets attention while allowing for your jumper to gather enough venom to ensnare it once again.” [New Ability] 🕷️Architect The Maevia can shoot out a heavier form of non-sticky webbing to create a temporary bridge for smaller medium creatures and below (Para and below) to traverse to the other side of chasms, webbed ladders to climb up to higher terrain, or crude stairs to descend from higher ledges to lower ones. 🛡️ Saddle With the map's extremely harsh environment that has constant threats, corrupted, and OSD's, comes a high need for survivability! The Maevia's advanced saddle offers enforcer-like body armor (metal armor, -not- Tek) to protect its weaker leg joints. This armor also entirely encases their squishy, vulnerable abdomen. On the metal plating protecting the abdomen is a flat spot which allows an unmanned turret to be placed on it. Supply the correct ammunition for whichever specific turret that you placed onto the Maevia's armored backside to allow it to automatically target your foes in combat, both in PVE and PVP situations. 🏞️Habitat This is a creature that is capable of being added to any map in the game due to its likeliness of living in caves, but also as jumping spiders can be found in so many different environments, there particularly are no limits to where they could be found! 🕷️Ability - Tranq Bola The thought is that jumpers could take the droplets they store and work them into their webbing to create venom-coated webs that could be thrown like a bola. The webs would have a tranquilizing effect whenever touched, thus causing their target to build up torpor and eventually go unconscious. 🕷️Ability - Latching As a jumping spider, they have outstanding agility and the ability to crawl on walls, but at a more rapid pace, maybe even with the cost of stamina drain for balance! An optional thing I had given thought to was the ability to fully latch onto its target in order to accurately cover them with their readied net. 🕷️Ability - Prey Lure You're out roaming around on your two equus when one of them begins to pick up an irresistible scent coming from a nearby cave wall. Your equus is nibbling on a suspended droplet when you notice the faint glinting coming off the web it's attached to, within an instant a jumper has lunged at your equus covering it with its bola and is quickly wrapping it up in its webbing, but in order to free your companion you need to tear at the webbing, as a few good hits will send that jumper scurrying up the wall to hide! 🕷️Ability - Locking On / Jumping This is the single feature that would make this creature so invaluable, and even possibly make it require a very difficult feat for taming it due to that power, as with the spiders extreme accuracy, it has the ability to lock its attention onto its prey, much like our real world jumping spiders who wait for the right moment to pounce, and this could also be useful for when using its projectile web net, or if grappling with a single web possibly! This is a pretty big part of what makes them 'jumping' spiders after all! In contrast to its normal and Aberrant cousins, the Extinction Maevia can easily navigate the vast wastelands found across Extinction due to its vastly enhanced jumping capability which allows it to traverse greater chunks of terrain in a single leap, similar to that of a Procoptodon. 🕷️Trait - Scary Face This spider was designed in thought with evolving to be able to terrify larger than normal predators, making it an incredibly useful tame for bases, keeping your creatures better protected when having to move them around the map, I imagined it could come with an extra ability to raise its back legs with its abdomen to stay in this stance on the ground, or you could enable an option within the radial menu allowing it to find and hang down from a nearby pole, perhaps even a new item for the spiders and flyers alike, akin to a perch? 🕷️Trait/Ability - Dance! Jumping spiders in the real world have very little differentiation on sizes between male and female. When you have befriended a male jumper through an emote game and some bonding, he has the ability to dance for a female with your guidance. When you do the dance, the taming meter will begin to fill up, if you succeed with 50% of the meter, the bar lights up and gives you the option to continue enchanting her or to stop. If you choose to stop, she deems you worthy of carrying her offspring and she will allow your boy to breed with her, gifting you an egg if you protect her while she gestates! However, if you continue to 100% on the meter, you can outright impress her enough that she will bond with you and conclude the taming process! From both Sovira and myself, thanks as always for all the love you possess for the Maevia! 1 Vote = 1 Maevia who is forever grateful for your support! Potential alterations/changes suggested by others Maevia fans: The Maevia could also have corruption-like looks/effects similar to other Extinction creatures on its abdomen and it could shoot a strong corrupted climbable webbing. Instead of a tranq bomb what if the Maevia can use corrupted nodes as a special type of venom to inject into other creatures, thus inflicting a 'berserk' effect similar to corrupted creatures making them attack anything and everything in sight including humans even when tamed. This won't be instant though and will slowly come into affect similar to Rhynio sap attacks that can be cured with cryopod narcotic (because it makes it sleepier), or the creature being imprinted (the affect will take longer to activate the larger the creature). Instead of a latching ability, it could also potentially be a hit-and-run type of attack where it jumps on its prey/enemy, bites, and instantly springs away (the bite can inflict either bleed tranq or the berserk status effect.) The maevia can have 3 types of bite: venom bite- the maevias basic bite dealing little damage on impact but high damage over time. tranq bite- torpor inflicting bite little damage (needs narcotic to function). berserk bite- same damage as venom bite but inflicts the corruption berserk affect (uses corrupt nodes) Gacha coccoons, small creatures could be snatched and turned into coccoons, hung up and could produce goodies or other useful materials. Radial menu where the production, torpor, and other things could be enhanced, as well as weight of creatures depending on torpor percentage, for how small/medium/large the taming capability could be for jumpers. Torpor resistance due to thick fur/hairs.

  8. (living turret tower) Introducing Dreadnoughtus, the Terrestrial Battleship! Tags: sauropod, apex, herbivore, siege, artillery, late game, customizable saddle, maintenance, TEK disabler, OSDs, titan fights Art by RiskyBiscuits Commissioned by Tweee (thanks again!) (BACK FROM RAGNAROK NOW WITH CUSTOM ARTWORK AND UPDATED ABILITIES!) DISCLAIMER: PLEASE read through the entire submission before voting for this creature, since there may be mechanics and features you might miss if you vote on design alone. I also encourage you to do this for every other submission you see as well, so you can make a truly educated vote for what you would actually like to see in the game. If you have any feedback or ideas, leave a comment and I will address it (a Q&A is at the bottom of the post). @dynastyofdragons, @riskybiscuits0485, @sp_ce, @tweee, @grymmlee Common Name: Dreadnoughtus Species: Dreadnoughtus maximus Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: “Dreadnoughtus maximus is the undisputed emperor of the wasteland, towering over everything except for the very titans themselves. While they pay no mind to those beneath them, they are incredibly hostile towards other large creatures, including other Dreadnoughtus. The adrenaline coursing through their veins in the presence of a potential threat increases their physical strength and pain resistance to an astonishing degree. To handle creatures with ties to element, it has developed the ability to absorb the kinetic energy of their attacks and convert it into an elemental pulse that weakens corruption and even disables TEK for a period of time.” Domesticated: “When they aren’t harassing other creatures, Dreadnoughtus engage in a series of daily rituals, the order of which depends on the individual. If a survivor manages to assist them with even the most minute of tasks, they may gain their trust. A Dreadnoughtus is an utter war beast when tamed. It can be fitted with a special saddle, allowing for the attachment of up to five heavy artillery weapons, along with a harpoon located on the chest designed to pierce into and reel in opponents. The dinosaur itself can be a living weapon, regurgitating acid-covered cannonballs stored in its stomach at high velocity. However, I have a word of caution for any who plan on taming one of these giants. If their needs are neglected by their masters, they will eventually throw a cataclysmic temper tantrum.” Dreadnoughtus was downsized from its original proposed size because I feel the Titanosaur should still be the largest dinosaur in the game off of its name alone, and that I (and many others) think it looks better. Art by @NeonLaboratory, Comissioned by @AgentSparkle, Feat. Captain Hannah (@hannahhvtuber) Tamed: Actions: Primary Attack (, , ): Looking Straight, Left, or Right: A long and wide neck sweep that deals high damage and high knockback to creatures in front of it. Looking Down: A fast stomp attack that deals high damage but has little knockback. Looking Up: A fast upward neck sweep that deals little damage but knocks aerial targets far. Looking Behind: A long and wide tail swipe that deals high damage and high knockback to creatures behind it. Secondary Attack (, , ): Cannonballs and Food is used as ammo for this attack. The Dreadnoughtus vomits out one of the cannonballs in its stomach, with the ball drenched in stomach acid. The more the attack is charged, the faster the shot is fired and the more damage is dealt. This shot has the properties of a normal cannonball with an added acid effect akin to the Reaper’s Acidic Blood! status effect. Roar (C, , ): A bellowing roar that causes the Dreadnoughtus’ neck spines to glow. When taking damage, you build a meter. After the roar animation plays, the sauropod will release an AOE EMP in the area in front of it, dealing damage, weakening Corrupted creatures, and disabling TEK for a duration, all of which are scaled by the amount of damage received. For those concerned about the TEK disable, imagine a disable of 5 seconds tops. The roar goes on cooldown for 120 seconds. However, the roar is strictly cosmetic if not having taken any damage at all. Tertiary Attack (Space, , ): The front of the Dreadnoughtus’ saddle has a harpoon that fires out of the chest area. It pierces into creatures of all sizes for massive damage, and holding this attack will pull them towards the Dreadnoughtus. The size and weight of the creature determines the pull speed, and the creature must escape by continuously attacking. Sleeping Animation: Like a Shadowmane or Megalosaurus, the Dreadnoughtus has a sleeping animation that can be toggled when off of its back. Passive Abilities: Giantslayer: Dreadnoughtus gain a damage and defense buff in the presence of the following creatures: Astrocetus, Brontosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, Gigantoraptor, Paraceratherium, Quetzal, Reaper (King and Queen), Rex, Rock Golem, Spino, Titanosaur, Magmasaur, Megachelon, Wyvern (all types) All Bosses (only Titans matter except for maybe SOTF since you can’t take them into arenas) ARK Additions: Acrocanthosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinosuchus, Deinotherium Gathering: Berries and fiber are gathered fairly decently. Wood and minerals are what it is more proficient at, however. What makes it all worth it is their incredibly high weight stat, even compared to similar sized creatures. It would be the best option in the game if it weren’t for its massive size preventing it from entering many areas. Marine Traversal: Dreadnoughtus can turn into a literal dreadnaught. It swims better than most creatures of its size, with many of its attacks and weapons intact. Like an Andrewsarchus, it can also sink and walk along the seafloor. A decently high oxygen stat allows them to sit below water for a long period of time. Heavy Artillery Saddle: The saddle of a Dreadnoughtus is unique due to its sheer customizability. There are a total of 5 equipment slots in the saddle. Turrets, ballistas, or cannons can be equipped. Cannons and ballistas are controlled manually, while turrets require gasoline in the dinosaur’s inventory to help fuel the saddle’s personal generator. 2 siege weapons on the neck, 2 on the shoulders, and 1 on the rump. Located on the chest is the previously mentioned drill-spear harpoon that resembles Monster Hunter’s Dragonator that is used directly by the driver. All riders are vulnerable except for the driver, protected in a car-like section of the saddle. Saddle References: ⚠ Maintenance ⚠: Dreadnoughtus are high maintenance creatures as mentioned earlier. This means providing constant care and attending to the dinosaur’s needs. If left ignored, the sauropod’s health will deteriorate, and its Health & Stamina Regeneration Rates will be reduced. Dreadnoughtus will actively rampage and destroy your base if it is neglected long enough. While it can be kept in a cryopod, its rage will increase the longer it remains in the cryopod. Sending it out won’t immediately trigger the rampage, but the next instance of ignoring its needs will do the trick. This is also only active when the tribe is online, so you don’t have to worry about waking up at 4:00 in the morning to take care of it. It is not meant to be an absolute drag on ARK players' lives and turning them into no-lifers, so imagine attending to its needs every couple of hours. It is not constant nor designed to be as punishing as a lot of players may think. Utility & Scenarios: PvE: Dreadnoughtus are specialized Titan killers through and through. Their fantastic stats in combination with their abilities and tools makes them great for Extinction’s boss fights, especially if an army of them are bred in the same manner Gigas typically are. They reduce the challenge of higher level OSDs and Element Vein runs, since their Giantslayer buff activates in the presence of Corrupted versions of particular creatures. On top of that, their EMP roar weakens Corrupted creatures, allowing for even more ease of completion. These sauropods may also find niches as actual sea-faring dreadnoughts or as gatherers of rare minerals, though that isn’t necessarily their primary purpose. Managing a Dreadnoughtus’ health is key for hostile confrontations, or you might find yourself on the other end of that neck. PvP: Now this is what Dreadnoughtus are designed to do. They find themselves at the top of the meta-game’s food chain, alongside the Giga and Carcha. Stats, abilities, and tools once again are incredibly useful in battles. Having survivors man multiple siege weapons mounted on the saddles turns the Dreadnoughtus into an almost unstoppable and completely destructive force. With enough turrets, ammo, and fuel, it may even become a mobile turret tower that guns things down before they even approach it. It’s terrifying in tandem with their ability to disable TEK. Their size is just about as big of a strength as it is a weakness, since it is a large target and has a hard time fighting in more claustrophobic spaces. Wild: The Dreadnoughtus is a rare spawn in the Wasteland, appearing in virtually any open space large enough for its sheer mass. Creatures the size of or larger than a Rex will attract its attention and it will aggro onto said creatures. They generally pay no mind to survivors and their tames unless they surpass the size threshold. Taming Process: The Dreadnoughtus is a massive animal that is incredibly high maintenance. They each have unique daily routines survivors can learn and adapt to accordingly. Helping a Dreadnoughtus go about their activities will develop trust and friendship between the survivors and the dinosaur. These activities include: Feeding: Feed the Dreadnoughtus vegetables or kibble. Toss a cannonball on the ground as a lure, getting the dinosaur to lower its head thinking it's a gastrolith. Then, you can feed it directly at its head. Playing: Help the Dreadnoughtus kill other dinosaurs and break structures in its territory until it is satisfied. Bathing: Clean the Dreadnoughtus of filth and parasites by using soap on its body. Sleeping: Protect the Dreadnoughtus as hordes of wild dinosaurs attempt to attack it. Enough damage from wild creatures will force the Dreadnoughtus to wake up and reduce taming effectiveness. Dreadnoughtus activities and needs rotate occasionally similar to a Moschops’ diet. Keep helping the dinosaur out until it completely trusts you. Conclusion: I personally think this concept for Dreadnoughtus would work well in the game, as a massive siege weapon that can tear through just about anything in its path. It would be one of the most powerful creatures a tribe could have except for the Titanosaur and Titans themselves, tying with the Giga and Carcha in strength. With the idea I have in mind, it would also be one of the more immersive creatures with a few of its mechanics. On Extinction specifically, the idea of a giant mobile creature with a Mad Max-style saddle fits well with the post-apocalyptic landscape. Overall, it is a fairly unique and absurd concept I’d love to see enter the game and act as the final send off to the unique and absurd original storyline of ARK. Have fun, survivors! ADDRESSING COMMENTS & CONCERNS: Q: Isn’t this just a glorified Titanosaur TLC? A: Some people have stated that Dreadnoughtus is a Titanosaur TLC, which I can see. It’s designed more to be its own creature, focusing on being a ranged attacker with its long neck and artillery, as opposed to the more brutish nature of the Titanosaur and Ark Addition’s Brachiosaurus. Titanosaurs also don’t spawn on Extinction, so Dreadnoughtus taking its place here doesn’t actively conflict with it the same way Carchar conflicts with the Giga. Q: Is it breedable? A: I think whether it's breedable or not is really up to Wildcard. Personally, I would say YES to it being breedable, but it being a pain to raise. Giganotosaurus maturation time from Baby to Adult is 10 days on official settings, so expect about 20 days up to a Month with a Dreadnoughtus on Official Settings. Might seem like a long time, but this is a Titanosaur-level creature, so gotta keep it balanced. Q: Don’t we already have enough sauropods? A: I agree the roster of sauropods is large, nearing theropod level. However, the majority of them are in an unusable state and are in dire need of a TLC. Q: This is just another “OP APEX GIGA KILLER!!!”, right? A: No, or not really. Dreadnoughtus is more designed to tackle the OSDs, Element Veins, and Titan boss fights on Extinction than to be a direct counter to Gigas and Carchars. That being said, the buff against creatures larger than a Rex does provide a unique advantage over the kings of PvP. In terms of its strength, the maintenance mechanic is built in as a drawback to prevent people using this creature so willy nilly. Q: Is the saddle the gimmick? A: I’ve heard people have concerns over when the gimmick of a particular submission is tied more to the saddle than the creature itself. The reason why the saddle plays a huge role in this Dreadnoughtus concept is to play on its name with “dreadnaught”, a type of battleship. With that in mind, why not make the saddle akin to a big gun ship? Isn’t that badass?! I also felt with a more “Mad Max” aesthetic, the saddle would fit just nicely onto Extinction, which itself is a wasteland. Q: What about PVE? A: I will not lie, Dreadnoughtus is a PvP focused tame. However, these same traits carry over to Extinction’s OSDs, Element Veins, and Titans like stated earlier. On top of that, it can be quite a good gatherer with its rate of collection and high weight stat. Q: Is it a temporary or permanent tame? A: Unlike the Titanosaur, Dreadnoughtus is not a temporary tame. Once you've tamed it, you'll keep it forever. HOWEVER, you have to keep track of its needs and desires through the Maintenance mechanic, meaning you'll need to feed it, bathe it, or let it sleep some. If you don't do what it asks of you, than it will go on a rampage and destroy everything in sight. It's a permanent tame with a huge drawback that balances out it's impressive strength.

  9. Turn ARK into a rhythm game with the mighty Sauroposeidon! (All artwork by me) Wild: Sauroposeidon rythmos is the largest dinosaur to inhabit the sunken forest. Of course, it’s nowhere near the size of the Forest Titan, but nonetheless, it towers over most animals. This mighty sauropod has a habitual tendency to stomp the ground, creating deep shockwaves that echo onwards for miles. Interestingly, when it stomps, it does so with a very rhythmic beat. Additionally, it will accompany its tempo with the bass of its voice and the smack of its tail. I’m not sure if they do this for communication or just for fun, but it seems they understand the concept of music. Domesticated: Riding a Sauroposeidon rythmos is like being the conductor of a living orchestra. Start a tempo with its stomps, and ramp it up with the bass of its voice and the clap of its tail. As its cadence swells, it’ll gain courage and grow more powerful. At its pinnacle, it’ll break into a song that will inspire the hearts of all creatures that hear it, turning the tide against even the most devastating corrupted hordes. Just try not to miss a beat, lest you ruin the rhythm! __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Gameplay Summary: Turn ARK into a rhythm game with the Sauroposeidon! Become a living percussion by rhythmically attacking to the beat of the battle theme - or any music you may have tabbed out (how would this work? I will explain it all below!) Stomp, kick, roar, and whip with a good sense of beat to achieve maximum DPS. Use your musical movement to inspire allies with the courage to continue fighting against the innumerable odds, wave after wave. Outside of combat, the Sauroposeidon is an incredibly reliable cargo traveler. Although not exactly “fast”, it still has decent speed, and it simply steps over various obstacles that smaller creatures would have been trapped in, like ledges and divots. It can also smash rocks and gather humongous quantities of flint: a resource which only few creatures are specialized to harvest. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Abilities: Passive Mechanic #1 - Omni Movement: The Sauroposeidon can turn in place, strafe, and attack while moving. Passive Mechanic #2 - Attack to the beat: The Sauroposeidon boasts a complex but fun rhythm mechanic! To activate the rhythm mechanic, you simply use any attack twice. The game will remember the amount of time that passed in-between your first and second attack, and that brief duration will dictate the speed of your tempo. For example, if the time in-between your first and second attack was one second, then you’ll create a tempo with one-second beats. Being able to choose your tempo means you'll be able to follow along with any song. A faster beat will result in less damage per stomp, while a slower beat will result in higher. The attack speed compensates for this, so the DPS should equal-out, regardless of tempo. As the tempo loops, you’ll need to time its beats with attacks in order to maintain it. Miss a beat, and the tempo will end. Continually miss the beats, and you’ll be debuffed with lower damage. But consistently land all your combos, and you'll slowly deal more damage. Keep going and mix it up with different attacks, and you’ll be rewarded with various buffs in the form of a rallying call. If nearby allies are using drums, Yutyrannus roars, or Mammoth drum saddles, the buff will be amplified even further. Start up a band! (If you wish to attack without triggering the rhythm mechanic, simply toggle it with [Crouch]) __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Mouse1 - Leg Stomp: The Sauroposeidon stomps with its feet. The direction of the stomp is determined by the player’s FOV. For example, looking behind will cause the Sauroposeidon to stomp with its back feet. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Mouse2 - Tail Crack: The Sauroposeidon uses its tail to whip enemies away. Much like the Leg Stomp, the direction of this tail attack is determined by the player’s FOV. It is a very long tail, so it can even hit enemies in front of the Sauroposeidon. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Spacebar - Neck Ram: The Sauroposeidon swings around its enormous neck. Again, like the previous two attacks, the direction of this neck attack is determined by the player’s FOV. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Reload - Rallying Call: Do the roar! The Rallying Call is only available after rhythmically performing twenty consecutive moves in a row, and the buff it provides depends on which attacks were used to lead up to it. - Leg Stomps grant 1% bonus damage per time used. - Neck Rams grant 1% damage resistance per time used. - Tail Cracks grant 1% increased speed per time used. This means that if you performed thirteen Leg Stomps, five Neck Rams, and two Tail Cracks before activating the Rallying Call, it would provide you and nearby allies 13% bonus damage, 5% damage resistance, and 2% increased speed. The duration of the buff is brief, but can be extended with another Rallying Call. The effects stack. If a nearby player is using war drums, Mammoth saddle drums, or a roaring Yutyrannus, the buff effects are doubled, and it grants the extra bonus effect of a temporary XP boost. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Taming: War drums! Approach a wild Sauroposeidon and play your hearty drums. The Sauroposeidon will notice and challenge you to a musical battle. After a few minutes of playing, the Sauroposeidon will start becoming dizzy from so much dancing - utilize that window of opportunity to shoot it with tranquilizers! Be quick before it regains its focus again. You don't want it to realize you're trying to knock it out. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ A possible TEK Saddle? A saddle fitted with giant TEK speakers that allows your Sauroposeidon to play any of ARK’s soundtrack in the game at any time! __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Some of you may recognize me... Congratulations if you noticed quickly! I am the creator of the Miracinonyx, Ornimegalonyx and Armadillosuchus - and now the Sauroposeidon! This is now my sixth time in the top ten. From now on, I will prioritize making new creatures ideas over resubmitting old ones. You can still expect to see some old creations return to the votes, but it won't happen often anymore. The Sauroposeidon isn't the only new creature idea I made for Extinction. I'm doing a double submission! My other creature is the Ozimek. My last double submission was during the Aberration votes, but I pulled one of them down. This time, however, I'd like to keep both up and see where they go. As always, thanks for reading. Feel free to leave any suggestions. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Bonus: The Art Gallery of Shockal's ARK Creature Submissions

  10. We'll Be Back for Genesis Part 2 as our Final Run with Chimerarachne Yingi Updated Submission 9/4/2023 We've Decided to update the Chimerarachne Yingi's Extinction Submission, Notably you'll find the dossier text to be a little different, Abilities have undergone some changes/improvements while some have been removed due to too many abilities, and the Extra Info section has also been overhauled The Hypnotic Nightmare is Back for it's Second Go this Time For Extinction I would encourage everyone to read our entire submission before making Assumptions and judging the creature, My team and I put a lot of time and work on bringing The Chimerarachne Yingi Submission to Extinction Especially our Artist (It was honestly a race to the finish), the least you can do is hear us out, we also have heard the Broken Record Comments "It doesn't Fit on this Map", "The Design isn't Accurate to the Original Creature", "It's Rhyniognatha all over again", "Just TLC the Araneo instead" ETC. trust me we've heard it all before and we're at the point of not caring and having to repeat our defense over and over, so save your breath and speak with your vote and not your comments, if you have something actually constructive to say, criticism or not then go ahead ALSO BY POPULAR DEMAND CHIMERARACHNE CAN WEAR A HAT, YOU'RE WELCOME GUYS I am aware that not everyone likes the Alien Looking Design of the Yingi but again there is nothing in the rules about making creature designs accurate, honestly if we went with an accurate design it would be rather boring, so while it's based off the real world creature we stand by making it a more fantastical design especially since the maps are more geared towards fantasy as they progress, the short version is we don't care about paleo accuracy in a video game that doesn't have a lot of it in the 1st place Read Dossier Text Below the Picture as the Dossier Art has not been updated Yet! Artwork Credit to Gemixxy Read Dossier Text Below as the Dossier Art as not been updated Yet! Dossier: Common Name: Chimerarachne Yingi Species: Chimerarachne Time: Cretaceous Period Temperament: Tricky Wild: While Chimerarachne Yingi (Chimera or Yingi for short) was much smaller than this spider with a tail, that is exactly what I’m looking at. I suspect that the species has been around for a very long time and has had the chance to adapt to the hostile environment that Earth is now. It looks like the species has evolved exponentially due to the growing hostile environment, going from the 2.5 millimeter itsy bitsy spider to something much bigger, and much more equipped to survive such an environment. The few survivors who managed to escape their hypnotic grasp say they make their nests in the forbidden zone, a fitting place for such a beast. While they're extremely fast and can easily chase down any prey, they prefer to use a pair hypnotic fake eyes on their back to lure prey, making them excellent ambush hunters. Yingi is well adapted to be the survive the corrupted monsters that plague the planet with it's Hypnotic Abilities seeming to have a greater affect on their minds than Normal Creatures. Yingi also utilizes a Hypnotic Illusion ability that allows it to camoflauge itself as another species making it even more deadly to an ususpecting Victim. Domesticated: Taming a Chimerarachne Yingi by normal means is impossible, you're better off obtaining an egg which is a difficult task in itself. Yingi is a devoted and protective parent, but once you have a Yingi of your own, you'll find a versatile mount capable of helping to Control the flow of a battle or help with the taming of other creatures with it's Webs and Hypnottic Abilities. Their Fast Speeds and Ability to Scale Walls and Cielings make an excellent Choice to Traverse the Harsh Enviroment, and they are a formidable combatant capable of holding it's own against even the largest of creatures. In adittion, Females produce “spider milk” used in nurturing their young. Full of proteins and fats, this natural resource can be used to heal carnivores, just as veggie cakes heal herbivores. Rumor has it that giving the milk to a Snow Owl or Daeodon makes their healing abilities more effective, making the milk a highly coveted resource amongst tribes. Abilties DISCLAIMER! Be Aware we don't expect all Abilities to make it in, as that is ultimately up to the Devs but here is how we envision our Abilities Bite – Tap Left Click, RT, R2 A standard bite attack that is on par with the bite attack of a Rex, also deals small amounts of Torpor Damage. Stinger – Hold Left Click, RT, R2 A Stinger attack that applies a venom that Rapidly Drains Stamina and Inflicts a Large Amount of Torpor, Attack has a 20s cooldown after use Hypnosis (Lure) – Hold Right Click, LT, L2 (Tap Left Click, RT, R2 to Unleash a Stunning Hypnotic Flare) Hypnosis Lure concentrates on a single target and lures it to Yingi, Applies new Headache Status Effect to Players/Creatures, Using the Hypnotic Flare Stuns the Target for 5s, Survivors/smaller creatures than Yingi get knocked back Hypnosis (Illusion) – Tap Right Click, LT, L2 Hypnosis Illusion makes Yingi dissappear and replaces it with the illusion of a targeted survivor/creature, players/creatures in render distance will see this illusion Hypnosis Abilities Side Notes - Players affected by the lure must try to look away from with dramatically reduce looking sensitivity - Lure causes a status effect called “Headache” this makes the target slower and doubles any source of torpor damage the target receives, status effect lasts 10s after lure ends - “Willpower Stat” (Speed Stat Replacer) Determines by drag weight how a creature is affected by Hypnosis Abilities, 100% = 200 Drag Weight, 200 or less = affected, 201 or more = resistant, a point put into stat = 10+ Drag Weight, Stat is Mutatable, better willpower = bigger creatures that can be lured/illusioned - Mounted Players cannot be Target by Lure Directly, but the mounts they ride can be - Mechanical Creatures/Players using Tek Helmets are Immune to both Hypnosis Abilities While Corrupted Creatures are more Susceptible allowing for Multiple Targets - Dealing Damage to a Yingi using Hypnosis breaks their concentration, freeing the target survivor/creature - After a survivor/creature breaks free of lure, they get a 30s cooldown before they can be affected again - Yingi uses Stamina at a slow rate when using Hypnosis Abilities Web Shooters – Press C or Gamepad Right Sticks to Enter/Exit – Right Click, LT, L2, to Change Web Shooter Type - Left Click, RT, R2 to Fire 1. Web Net – Shoots a Net that Traps a Target, Narcotics in the Inventory adds a Torpor Effect to The Net, Fire/Sharp Weapon destroys net, Net lasts 60s, 60s cooldown Web Net Side Note - Yingi can pick up netted creatures/survivors by Holding C or Gamepad Right Sticks when looking at Net (This will Exit Web Shooter Mode Tap C/Gamepad Right Sticks again to Drop Net), Picking up Pauses timers for Allied/Wild Creatures but timer is Halved for Enemies Survivors/Tames 2. Web Zipline – Shoot Twice to create a Zipline that yingi/zipline capable creatures can cross, last 5m, Apply Fiber to Zipline to make it permanent 3. Web Barricade – Spins a Web that can slow down creatures/survivors, corrupted nodules in inventory adds a toxic effect to web that deals damage, lasts 2m, fire destroys web Web Barricade Side Note – Survivors/Creatures can still passthrough Barricade Wall Climbing – Tap Space, A, X to Toggle ON/OFF Allows Chimerarachne Yingi to Climb Any Surface, aiming at a wall/ceiling while wall climbing is toggled on and pressing Left Click/RT/L2 will shoot a web and slingshot yourself at the wall Females Produce Spider Milk Spider Milk is Needed for Rasing Chimeralings, also acts as a Carnivore Equivalent of Veggie Cakes and when Fed a Snow Owl or Daeodon will increase their healing effectiveness for 5m, has the same stack size as Veggie Cakes Males Incubate Chimera Eggs (Only Chimera Eggs) Males can Incubate Up to 6 Chimera Eggs at a time, this will show the stats and mutations of the Chimera Eggs, Eggs will Incubate 20% Faster than an Air Conditioner or Egg Incubator Extra Info: Chimera Queen Info - Chimera Queen is twice the Size of a Normal Yingi - Hypnosis Abilities are replaced by a Screech for Chimera Queens - Web Shooters are replace by a Grab Attack - Chimera Queen is not Tamable - Chimera Queen is like a Mini World Boss - Chimera Queen has 50k Health - Chimera Queens are Sluggish making their attacks and movement speed slow allowing players to get out of the way of her dealdly melee attacks Spawn Locations - Wild Chimerarachne Yingi will Spawn on the Notrthern part of the Map all around the Forbidden Zone and Wastelands sourrounding the sunken forest - Female Eggs Spawns will be suspended from Cliffs and Over Hangs Across the Northern Part of the Map, there will only be 5-6 Eggs Spawned Randomly on the Map at any given time and will have a 30 minute respawn timer to respawn at a new random location Wild Chimerarachne Yingi Behaviors - Yingi Females are agressive to eachother and will fight for mating rights, even to the death (This Behavior doesn't happen to Tamed Females) - Yingi will stalk their prey using their illusion when hunting rather than charging in, they will play mind games with their target before using their Hypnosis Lure - Yingi Males with eggs are more defensive in nature and would rather avoid larger creatures unlike those without - Chimera Queens do not Spawn Naturally, they will only spawn specifically for the fight over the Female Chimera Egg Taming Method - There are Two Methods for the Males and Females, both are Egg Stealing but with a Twist (Both Genders Need Spider Milk to raise) Male Method – You Must Locate an Adult Male holding a Chimera Male Egg (which are Cyan Colored), once you get it's Attention wait for it to rear up it's back to use it's Lure on you, when this Happens you need to Hold up a Metal Shield to Reflect the Hypnosis Back at the Yingi, this will frustrate the Adult Male into using it's Hypnotic Flare which will cause it to Stun itself allowing you to Run up and use a Sword to Cut the Egg Free from it's Tail, then be prepared to fight cause it will chase you down wanting it's Egg Back Female Method – Female Eggs (which are Purple Colored) are located throughout the Forbidden Zone Hanging off cliffs and overhangs, interacting with the egg causes a Chimera Queen to Spawn to defend the Egg. She will let out a ear peircing screech if any tamed/wild creatures are present inside of the arena, this will force them to run out of the marked boundry, you will find you find that no creature will dare reenter the arena so it'll be just you and the Chimera Queen. To end the fight either kill her or all survivors must leave the arena boundaries, killing her allows you to cut the egg down with a sharp weapon, you can also loot her for 50 spider milk, Leaving the Arena will make the Chimera Queen to Disappear but interacting with the egg again will make her respawn with full health Female Method Side Notes - Ending the fight will allow you to command and ride your tames again - Creatures cannot enter the arena during the fight - You cannot damage the Chimera Queen while outside the arena - Cryopods are disabled inside the arena - Players must be present inside the arena at the Start of the fight to be a participant , if a participant leaves the arena they are no longer a participant even if they reenter the arena, if all participants die or leave the arena the fight ends, player that enter mid fight aren't counted as participants either Both Methods Side Note - You're going to need to steal spider milk from a female to raise a chimeraling, Yingi cannot be knocked out but much like in the male taming Method you can use a Metal shield to reflect a Female's Lure/Flare Attack to stun it long enough to take Spider Milk from it, You will Recieve 5 Spider Milk Breeding and Raising - Chimeralings will require Spider Milk to make it to Adulthood - Males Incubate Chimera Eggs Faster than Air Conditioners or Egg Incubators - Females will Convert Raw Meat into Spider Milk over time - Chimeralings might ask for a Dodo or Lystrosaurus Body as one of their Imprints Roadmap for Yingi if it doesn't make it into Extinction After long and careful diliberation with the team We've decided Genesis Part 2 will Be our Last and Only Vote we'll enter with Yingi after Extinction, we'll be placing it in the Rockwell's Innards or all over Rockwell's Garden Ring areas of the Map, we barely got the Extinction Submission out the door and a few days later we had to rewrite it because we just didn't have the time to carefully think about how to present the Extinction Yingi, so by skipping Valguero and Genesis Part 1 that we originally planned to enter we'll have plenty of time to rethink and smooth everything out to Make Yingi the best we can make it, if it doesn't make it into Genesis Part 2 then we'll be looking Towards Modding the Yingi for everyone to Use Real World Information and Source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimerarachne Chimerarachne is a genus of extinct arachnids, containing a single species Chimerarachne yingi. Fossils of Chimerarachne were discovered in Burmese amber from Myanmar which dates to the mid-Cretaceous, about 100 million years ago. It is thought to be closely related to spiders, but outside any living spider clade.[1] The earliest spider fossils are from the Carboniferous, requiring at least a 170 myr ghost lineage with no fossil record. The size of the animal is quite small, being only 2.5 millimetres (0.098 in) in body length, with the tail being about 3 millimetres (0.12 in) in length. These fossils resemble spiders in having two of their key defining features: spinnerets for spinning silk, and a modified male organ on the pedipalp for transferring sperm. At the same time they retain a whip-like tail, rather like that of a whip scorpion and uraraneids. Chimerarachne is not ancestral to spiders, being much younger than the oldest spiders which are known from the Carboniferous, but it appears to be a late survivor of an extinct group which was probably very close to the origins of spiders. It suggests that there used to be spider-like animals with tails which lived alongside true spiders for at least 200 million years. 11. Proporciona aislamiento a climas extremos 6. Daño a estructuras tek 13.

  12. One idea that would be cool if you could ride on it, and even if that doesn't come possible, is the "Cat Bones" skill, in which it can get through tight spots that it normally wouldn't go through like some caves in the game that only dimorphodonts go in, for example.

  14. Pronunciation: (Kee· low· saw· ruhs) Abilities: - Quilosaurus can swim underwater indefinitely without Oxygen (Functioning much like it's cousin the Baryonyx). Quilo also does not need to be tethered to a whistle in order to keep it from floating to the surface. - Quilosaurus has no Oxygen Stat. - While swimming, Quilo Has a sweeping / swooping grab ability with it's front arms and claws which enable it to "pick" medium sized dinos underwater such as Megalodon, small / medium sized dinos, and humans. - The Sail of the Quilo provides added protection to the two riders, and is also a non vital organ to the Quilo. Additionally, a Quilo's sail takes 85% reduced damage to any incoming damage that specifically hits the sail only. - Due to the capsule shaped bamboo saddle construction, players cannot be dismounted, grabed, or picked from a Quilosaurus by any means. - On dry land, with it's thick, paddle shaped tail, the Quilosaurus can perform a tail spin slap, much like a reaper, dealing damage and knockback to enemies. (C-key) - Quilo have a primary bite attack which deals identical damage to that of a Rex. - On dry land, Quilo have a secondary attack ability to Grab on, while simultaneously letting out a roar, and locking in place Rex sized dinos and smaller, with it's front arms and long claws, allowing Quilo to bite the immobilized prey with it's primary attack at the riders discretion. - While Grabbed onto dinos, underwater, or on land, Quilosaurus can bite their prey while it has them in a grab hold. - In the Unique circumstance that a dino or player is grabbed by a Quilosaurus, and takes a bite only while grabbed, they take a 5% bleed damage to Hp that stacks with multiple bites. - On land, the Grab lock last around 8 seconds, with a 20 second grab cooldown on dinos previously grabbed. - Underwater The Grab operates like a Tuso or Wyvern, where Quilo can swim around with their held prey, and the dino or player can't escape the grab hold until released. - The Secondary rider of the Quilosaurus has the option to pull out weapons, such as bows, rifles, and other melee weapons. - The Secondary rider is positioned in the seat behind the primary rider, and both are protected from all picks and dismounts. - The (C-key) attack underwater, functions as a 180 degree direction change, as momentum for a tailspin can't be accomplished with water resistance. - Quilosaurus can traverse structures with ease, such as metal spikes, ground structure, and even small gate frames at times. - Quilosaurus has identical Hp and Damage stats to that of a Rex. - While the Quilo has raw fish meat in its inventory, it gains a 10% Damage output increase, 5% movement speed increase, and a 10% Reduction to incoming enemy Damage, due to an adrenaline rush. - Due to the spikey nature of the Quilosaurus sail, they have the unique privilege of not being able to be picked by Tuso, or Rhyniognatha. - Quilosaurus can be transported, uncryoed, and used on the Aberration map. - Quilosaurus have a 75% weight reduction to fish meat in their inventory. - The wet skin of the Quilosaurus is slippery and slick, grapples are unable to attach to the slippery skin of the Quilosaurus. Taming: - Quilosaurus are aggressive, but elusive. If found, they must be tranquilized into submission. On occasion, survivors offering minimal quantities of cooked prime fish meat, to a subdued Quilo, have been known to gain the admiration of an aggressive wild Quilosaurus, therein taming and utilizing them for their all terrain abilities and strength. Habitat: - Deep lakes, Shorelines, Oceans, and occasionally large underground caves with access to water to lay eggs and rear their young. Links: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalaia

  17. Excellent ankylosaurid rep with an interesting and fun sounding attacking style! I think a taming method that involves causing its powder-y body to explode, dealing torpor, would be appropriate. Something like using fire damage or explosive damage to deal torpor! Could be quite cute if its favourite food is focal chili rather than kibble as well (this fellow has some firey abilities, why wouldn't he love spicy food)

  21. The world of ARK does not need another gigantic overpowered Giga-Mega-Titano-Something-Saur. A faithful friend, a supporting mate like the WOLFHOUND© is perfect to have on his side. A rough companion the stays on our side while we're Tame creatures, mining resources or to defend us if something lurks behind our back. I would appreciate the Wolfhound to come to the ARK.

  24. If there was a form of subscription the money would go to actual developers instead of some online traders/cheaters. That money could (read: SHOULD) be used to police servers to prevent these "trolls". The idea is not bad, it's just that WC sofar has proven not being able to support official servers to a standard that they can charge for it.

  25. "I don't think that this would fit in the map" I get it, you all wanted the jumping spider to win the Aberration vote, but ever since it lost you have all been now saying the following words: "I don't think that this would fit in the map" You people do realize that this author had put a lot of effort into this right? And yet some of you are saying: "I don't think that this would fit in the map" Hearing all this, These people like I said earlier put a lot of effort into this thing, and now your saying that it don't FIT??? Jerryen said this: "As a reminder, let's discuss the creature, and not those who support the creature or do not support the creature. Everyone has a right to submit a creature, so long as they follow the published guidelines." He's right, everyone has a right to submit a creature, it's OKAY But let me tell you something, words are strong at times, maybe too strong... And saying: "I don't think that this would fit in the map" Those can be strong words... And now according to Delren what said, that due to "outside circumstances" this is the last time we will ever vote for this creature, I wonder why... Look I get it, your saying that "I don't think that this would fit in the map" because you think that it's the not right environment for the creature at all. I get it, but look, what your saying is probably effecting both Sovi and Delren, they sent a lot of time on this, but we need to realize that saying words like "I don't think that this would fit in the map" can have an effect. Again, words are strong So please, don't say "I don't think that this would fit in the map", say something else. Sovi, Delren, If your reading this, I apologize if I'm coming out as rude, but I want to let people know that words like "I don't think that this would fit in the map" can have an effect on people or may come out as criticism. I know you sent a lot of time this thing. If this is the last time for the spider, then hear this: Good luck with this, believe in your selves that your spider might win, if not, then that's okay, you did your best and that's OK no matter what. Over and out PS: You have my vote

  28. I wonder if the game would be better if they could find a way to add an optional monthly fee somewhere. A constant but optional flow of money could motivated them to better maintain the game and police it. MMO have being doing this, its a good business model. Examples: * On official, ?$ per month so you're stuff doesn't decay. * in game purchase of something : maybe tek structures like walls, floors, ... * In game purchase of chibis or other cosmetics gear. The important thing is it should always be optional.

  30. Ok so. I saw a comment about another user asking for the armor piercing to be elaborated on. So I have this Purposal!. You know how the creatures on Extinction like the Mana, Owl, Velo, and Gacha have those patches of Element on them? Well why not have that for Gorgonops but make the part its teeth thus giving it this unique adaptation! it can play into into the already existing Element Frenzy.

  32. I still desperately want the Maevia. It should have been the Ab pick and i'm never gonna let that go. That said, I don't think it will win the extinction vote but even if that's the case I think it will have a good chance to win the Valguero, Crystal Isles (would be PERFECT for the empty Rock Drake nest area on Crystal Isles), or even Fjordur vote. Those i'd say are the Maevia's best 3 chances.

  33. Yeah I love your work and your creature and so do many others and if wildcard would just listen and let the runner up creature in the game the whole issue would pretty much be solved, but the option of limiting how many times they can submit their creature is absolutely not an option, unfair, and not an equal opportunity, I talked to one of admins they should run this idea up the ladder to get the devs to start letting the top 2 of every creature vote in the game, and don’t ever let anyone pressure you out of submitting Maevia Eureka or your team, that’s y’all’s right to do so and I’ll stand with you on against the world

  34. *Sips coffee* I understand your frustration of seeing repetitious creatures in every vote. Sure, it is okay to want to see something new pop up every know and then. You are more than welcome to offer that statement. But if you think demeaning others for posting the same creature every single vote is right, then you are certainly mistaken on that part. I don't know if you have or haven't ever created something like a creature submission. Nor can I judge you for not making one yourself. But what you need to understand is there are a lot of artists, writers, and other creators out there that want to show off their work. And for a game like ARK: Survival Evolved/Ascended, they are giving others the opportunity to suggest creatures that could be added to the game. And you know what? Many of these amazing people are going above and beyond to show off their work to others not necessarily just to win, but to let other fans admire their content as well as their ideas. Heck, I'm one of those aspiring content creators and it makes me happy to see others enjoy what I've accomplished. And I especially enjoy seeing the smiles of my friend's faces when people praise their work. This is something this community needs, a fun and wholesome environment. However, when you and others make comments like "this doesn't belong here" or "you've lost so many times already" or "I'm tired of seeing your stuff over and over again. Just give up", it really hurts others motivation to keep moving forward with their passions. Sure there are a plethora of other fresh ideas people have that could work, but to put people down just because they really want to see their favorite creature in the game...it's disheartening. And this creature submission vote? It is literally a game of Survival of the Fittest. The strongest or more favorable wins. That is how it has always been in nature. But that cycle of nature is easily broken by let's say...a virus. And in this environment, it is the toxicity and hatred of others that is throwing everything off balance like a virus. That doesn't mean, however, that people should give up. Despite the odds not favoring the creatures I submitted, I still let them run wild for people to at least admire. The people I've worked with on my creature have made so much progress to give others something to love, not to hate. And even though I'm in a bit of a rivalry with someone, I still like to support the effort they put in to their work because like us, they worked very hard as well. And limiting a creature to only three chances to win? It would not only ruin the dynamic of what the vote is about, but also shatter nearly everyone's chances of winning (and perhaps discourage others from not voting anymore). Just because something isn't insanely useful for PVP, it doesn't mean it's worthless. Just because it isn't what you like, it doesn't mean it isn't admirable for others. Just because something is scary looking for others who are afraid of them, it doesn't mean it can't be something for others to enjoy. Just because something has been "beaten to death", it doesn't mean you can't lift them up. And just because someone is trying their best to win, doesn't mean they should be bullied for putting an effort. I could go on with my rant here, but I want to continue with my work as well. So I'll end it in summary: Please be kind to others. We are all adults here. I want to see a community where everyone can admire people's work without destructive judgement or toxic comments. I know I have no authority anywhere, but I at least like to stand up for my friends and rivals who are doing their best to have fun in this vote. If you really want to see something new or fresh, throw a creature suggestion out there yourself. And you know something? I'll give it a vote anyway because I think everyone has some goodness deep down inside them. And maybe you'll understand why we continue to post the creatures we love. Keep this in mind the next time you decide to comment on someone's post or say something about people's efforts. I hope you have a good day. 'Nuff said.

  36. I admit that the idea of transferring dino characters and so on to SP mode would be a solution. But then Nitrado won't earn WC/SG won't pay them back and you wouldn't even see ASA. It's sick that they want to lay the costs on us. Yes, everyone can pay Nitrado something, but not as much as now. This is probably not an encouraging offer for console owners

  38. Really good idea, i'm not too sure on a new flyer though. I think it having some kind of addiction level like the ferox would be cool

  39. A map with evolved forms of modern animals would be pretty cool

  40. You all are conspiring against the OP and lying. Cause you know, that's plausible.

  41. The reason I haven't gone into the intricate detail is because I know there are other people that can explain it a lot better than I can.
