smlarf
Hi guys. I've tamed a titanoboa, but it doesn't seem to eat meat, even forced fed. Do you know how to feed it? Thanks for your help.

Oldskool
What!!! You have to feed it eggs after tame, that's a bit hectic. Can anyone confirm this?
BAGGINS
I looked on ark wiki and I think it might be confirmed

Maybe if you put it on wander in a dodo pen it will just naturally eat the eggs that dodo's drop

And I doubt the AI is so good to eat eggs from the ground.

Probably true, but to tame a Titanoboa you have to drop a fertilised egg on the ground for it to see it and eat it, therefore it already eats eggs from the ground. Oldskool
I suppose you could keep a few quick breeding tames on wonder in with your boas, so when they drop the fert eggs its dinner time for the snakes. Seems a bit crazy tho, some of the timers to breed can be long on official.
Critter
Atleast you can mass breed dodos for fert eggs. Legit dodo farms incoming.

It's an alien engineered boa that has a narcoleptic venom. It can eat whatever the heck it wants.

Killerfurby
yes they eat eggs ( normal ones) after taming. in the wiki you can find a list with food values for the eggs. mine was happy with a single argy egg for 2 days. thats ok imo

Volunteer Moderator GP Posted August 20, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted August 20, 2017 I like the fact they only eat eggs after tame. Everything else pretty much eats berries and meat, with the exception of the Snails. I like the fact that rather than just dump tons of berries and meat in troughs you have to do something a bit different and remember not to forget. My Dodos are laying eggs non stop so i've always got a good supply, and all you need to do when you see a dino egg is pick it up and quickly store it in the fridge, before you know it you'll have a healthy supply. They don't need fert eggs after tame, so there's no need for them to be breeding tames. You could try just having a load of Dodos in there, not even wandering and stick a wandering boa in there. But still you'd need to be in render range so they don't go in stasis.

Predharalien
On aberration I just use rock drake eggs for everything for the titanoboa not only do I use low level eggs to tame them I also use the low level eggs to feed them might as well collect as many rock drake eggs as you can (I have a powerful reaper so that’s how I get passed the rock drakes) so possibly higher level eggs can spawn
cattafett
we keep ours by the boss rexes and gigas as you pass by pick up any eggs that are laid and stick them in the trough job done should say i only found out this works cos i was being lazy and couldn't be assed to take the eggs to the fridge
