It's unfortunate that in the 60 seconds it took me to create this image, you think the dev team has completely stopped all work. The team have been and still are working hard to fix all high-priority issues.

It boggles my mind how such a game breaking problem is still a regular occurrence. hundreds and thousands of hours invested into a character for it to be wiped from existence in 2 seconds. People can say what they want about meshing but for me, character deletion is an even bigger problem that needs some serious attention. Just think of how many hours the support team wastes on these kinds of tickets since legacy. Ridiculous.

This is the second time. The first was my main character...only character at the time. I am a tribe owner on Ab and on Rag and when the Game ate my toon- the exact same way first day of Xmas event no less....I would have been wiped if not for my husband having just made a toon as a placeholder for both tribes. It was THREE MONTHS before they came to 'fix' it. I had not played on my account on the server the body of my toon was disconnected on, assuming they would just reactivate her. You could physically see her..she was just link dead. I did not make a new toon because I thought that would overwrite her and all they needed to do was reconnect the character to the server or somesuch. Boy was I wrong. So after three months they came and told me sorry- make a new character we will give you increased xp up to level 105 (I believe) but not replace any of your lost engrams or boss fights. The GM that responded had absolutely no clue what they were doing. They insisted you could immediately repod cryosicked dinos...that there was no cooldown. They started assigning dinos to me one at a time...and I had hundreds of course...then 15 minutes in said they were going to lunch. I kid you not...3 months wait....15 minutes of painstakingly one by one assigning me as Tribe owner again and connecting dinos to me....then Oh hey its lunch I have to go. I waited...2 hrs or so for them to come back. They get there and immediately said ok appointment time is up I am off to another ticket...and I was WAIT! I have gigas and wyverns in cryopods- babies! Then the cryopod argument happened...and long story short they left me with a pile of babies out waiting on a timer to recryo them - they had jumped to Ab to make me tribe owner there and do those dinos... I get the babies podded and frantically jump to ab....and no GM. I waited another hour. Then thought to look at the ticket where I found the GM said "Oh hey I went to Ab and you never showed. You have to open another ticket now." They never reassigned imprints to most of my dinos...I found wyverns they said they had done still owned by the old toon after this...and not even a fraction reconnected. So I finally get the second half of the ticket and the GM (a dif one) shows for the appointment. Was like ok what do you need? I said hey I need tribe owner and dino imprints switched to me. THIS GM was a rockstar. They typed something in and wham bam I was completely reconnected and all dinos assigned to me. Under 5 minutes, ticket was done. The glaring differences between the dude that thought they had to go one by one to each dino, and that babies could be immediately repodded (they straight up argued with me until i dropped empty pods for them to do it...and they punched my babies with the cryo until they nearly killed it...lol) Entirely broken process. I have never ever played a game with such poor assistance when something goes wrong and as an old lady gamer I have played a LOT of games. The good news at the end of this process is a friend reminded me I had a disconnected (unintentional) duped toon from months ago just sitting at their base. I was able to jump on, reclaim the toon, so at least I get all the dinos imprinted to her and the babies in pods imprinted to her back. She does not have the Chibi levels or the alpha Ab fight but I'll take it. But holy HELL Wildcard...when you design a game that requires a toon to jump servers for bossfights at the very least...then know that we can lose the character in the process...you need to be FAR more conciliatory when it comes to YOUR errors. This is unacceptable...

Possibly one of the greatest responses from one of the development team I've ever seen on here, well said @Chris and just know that not everyone on here is a complete and utter *word I'm not allowed to say on the forums* and understands the pressures of working in software development under tight deadlines. Keep up the good work to all of you and don't stop the communication because some impatient idiots get you down.

Yeah people will find any excuse to crap on the Devs even when they are putting their all into something.... Literally paused the Genesis train to fix meshing cause many were jaw flapping about it, so they complained about the delay. Its this Instant Gratification Generation man... they want it and they want it now and will *bad word for lady dog* about it and anything else. These kids would have died growing up in the 90's from anxiety related heart conditions due to the slow response times and limited media output for games... hell can you imagine them dealing with the wait between the two Incredibles movies?

Nice to see WildCard pushing the advertising campaign when there are players who can't even play because the last update created a blue screen issue #Priorities

Either a back up system or gms that respond same day and have the tool to restore character all imprints ALL levels ALL engrams.

Regardless of the various bugs and issues the playerbase, GMs, various managers, and probably even dev-teams have to deal with while ARKing and getting ARK'ed, the music once again is extra-eeemly amazing. Thank you MirageUK, your tool becomes more and more amazing after each release ! My friends and I use it every day. I would have one little suggestion, but of very low priority, so feel free to reject it of course. In Larkator, I was able to filter the levels of the dinos displayed on the map, for example to display only dinos between levels 135 and 150. It's useful to see at a glance where are these dinos. Like I said, your program is already awesome as is. Thank you !

Lost 2 characters level 130+ today, in 1 hour interval, on 2 different transfers. Each time, this: Characters nowhere to be downloaded at source or destination server. The sad truth is, only those whom have had their character duped can fully recover from such a loss. I understand it is not allowed by TOS to have dupes ? Yet, most people, who have one, got it by accident, and it then becomes the only safety net to character loss.... If losing chars wasnt fixed in 6 years, maybe its time WC implements a real safety net, a character save/clone feature, which could be activated upon character loss - which would save player id (to keep imprinted dinos), level, bosses/tek cave status, haircut etc ? And could be managed by players, rather than wait for a ticket to be read/treated.

@MirageUK love this program, thank you for all your hard work. This thing is making cleaning up old bases a lot easier.

@Rattgtg FYI I have managed to get the data needed for dropped items up to my UI - just need to do the new tab to display the data for you guys before I can get an update out.

I remember back when Wildcard was releasing a couple new creatures a month or more. Now they spend an entire year working on DLC's and they only put like 6 new tames into each of them

@Chris - your facepalm reaction to my post only proves the lack of good principles in your company's public relations. It also reminds me of how many times I've had this reaction with Ark code glitches and bugs. And sorry for not being a toady boy. Several thousand hours spent in Ark built my skepticism. This game gave me a lot of joy but also a lot of negative experiences that I can't be a hyped fanatical follower. But I hope that will change.

Should I check out Ark:Genesis in creative to look around and spawn the new dinos first or survival to feel the true pain of being a noob in a new world while dying by the same raptor pack every 15 minutes? I don't know what sounds better cheating a sneek peek or tramatizing nostalgia?

Chris, I love, appreciate your work and contribution to Ark, but I really don't like your words. I know you have a lot of work now, but I suggest you show a little more respect and understanding to players.. we are your clients. I think that people have the right to be salty if they wait a long time for the game, and in addition they encounter a lot of errors and faults. Get some beer or ice creams and relax

Well you see, for most people it seems like they're not pulling all the resources they could on the most prevalent issues and concerns to their players when they are using a good portion of the people they have to work on new content. Since I've never worked on coding for a video game and dealt with fixing issues like the ones we face in ark, I can't say I know what they're dealing with, but I know I would much rather have a game that works and plays smoother/better than seeing new content come out for it. Maybe there's a balance they have of people who work on bugs and people who work on new content, I know they need to always be working on new things to generate income for the company, but what good is new content to people who's enjoyment is completely ruined by bugs or problems in the game? I feel like them voicing more openly when they are dealing with issues and their progress could and would help to ease peoples minds about what they're dealing with in game. Screaming out your frustration into the void without any feedback is just demoralizing, ya know?

The irony is that the gms that take WEEKS to respond have the worst customer service ever. In my tribe we had a gm show up tell the member she was going to take him from lvl 91 to 105. Adds only 10 levels and before my tribe member can type out that that she did her math wrong gm says have a good day and leaves. At least WoW gms ask if there is anything else before they leave. WC gms on the other hand are rude hostile and apparently can’t do simple subtraction and can’t be bothered to fix their mistake without ANOTHER two to three week wait. And all this after WC caused this by deleting your character...

They are pushing the advertising campaign so hard there are literally multiple threads in the Genesis sub topic complaining about almost the complete lack of advertising, information and hype about the DLC from WC.

It was previously not showing all structures for all selections. Hopefully much better now. Added colour tab to settings page (read only atm, will allow edit in future release with all other settings options) Moved Rafts and Motorboats into Structures and removed from Tamed Tab.

Hey @cad just a quick heads up that whilst making my own viewer tool for ARK I was able to determine how to amend the underlying toolkits to read in cryo creatures. If this is something you want to include in your own system please check out my fork of it at https://github.com/Miragesoftware/ArkSavegameToolkit They will bubble up as tamed creatures with a new object property - .IsCryo that will be true if that tame is in a cryopod. Regards MirageUK (edit) The previous fork of my code was wrong. Missing variables and such preventing compile. Made various changes following code review on GitHub and now working as expected.

I lost my character 3 weeks ago. Was not as deep as you were, but still level 100. I love that when you schedule a ticket that it is 5 WEEKS or so before you get any resolution. my appointment is March 5th

We had tribe mate lv 130 lost his to same thing and if he does ticket it won’t get the imprints and his lvs back... so he quit and now I lost another tribe mate
