I've been playing with the same, apologies for the roughness, I'm limited to paint and have a house full of kids atm. But  you can connect the lines A to A, B to B etc and the tails outside the boxes seem to line up, pink to pink, blue to blue etc. No idea if it is useful at all.

dnaring.jpg

Ive been thinking the same thing, trying to line up the spikes. It looks like for example line 1 and 3 can match up but I keep thinking that line 3 and 5 should be the ones to line up since all the lines have 16 sections but line 3 has 17 and line 5 has 14 so It made more sense to me to have the largest and smallest connect in some way. Yet still not sure where any of this is gonna get us in terms of a code.

I did wonder if it had anything to do with this part of the countdown, there are two rings which look to contain some kind of data that turn and lock into each other. Perhaps we are meant to connect two hoops and take the code from the points which are then indicated by the four red arrows? Honestly no idea how it would work, but I thought it worth mentioning

Look at that... i pass the image into a stenography decoder process...

download.thumb.gif.978f66563f84a466b98194ea7d6e56dc.gif

Look at ALL the details into the image, its crazy

Pass it into that place :

I don't mean to potentially burst your bubble here or anything but, from the very page you linked you seemingly overlooked this:

Quote

If your file does not contain a hidden image, the result will be a black and white image that probably won't look like anything!

From all the steganography images I've seen, the resulting data is a colourised(since you can encode much more with RGB than you can V(value/black and white)) image and that above is pure black and white. That's not to flat out refute any potential of the image being steganographed where you just need the correct key, just trying to balance expectations.

I put something into the uplink but nothing appeared, how'd you do it?

What did you put into it? @WildWyvern

I did a cipher method to solving this hope it helps!

And what did that accomplish other than realigning them a little bit? By the markers it seems.

I've tried tons of different things and ideas today, personally removing everything but the DNA helps me see the colors better I.E no background color since subtle changes in shade are hard for my eyes to see. I've tried seeing if each individual color in a segment decodes into something via https://earthsciweb.org/js/bio/dna-writer/ But some colors aren't on it like blue unless blue and teal are the same. Also tried decoding it lined up and didn't come up with any thing. Though I'm not an expert in cracking codes nor DNA so I could be way off base using that website in attempt to decipher it.

[LOG_TRANSMIT] I found a few behavior sub-routines in some sort of genetic archive I was able to access.
[LOG_TRANSMIT] To integrate them I need you to jump through some hoops.

is there someone here to think outside the box ?

what does she mean we have to jump through some hoops ?  mentally ? phisically ? we need to create hoops with the DNA ? it's her job the DNA... why would she ask something she is normally good at, we probably have to do something more logic than decrypt the dna no ?

maybe we don't have much to do with the pattern..

you know what ? raptor you, Helena... i'm done with your bullpoop, i only wanted to breed dodos the first day i woke up on that beach

It occurred to me, that it says 'jump through some hoops'.

The strands in the image can be connected to themselves to create circles ( a.k.a. hoops ).

Maybe edit the image to create circles out of them, see if anything pops out?

EDIT:

Also, 6 DNA strands, and 6 people in the ark.gg/g image. Coincidence? http://prntscr.com/ooz2uj

There is one smaller male, which could be the shorter DNA strand?

EDIT 2:

http://prntscr.com/oozlyy , red code text at the start of the beam that is 'going through hoops'. Could be an answer?

this is a cool thing not sure if useful tho

Does someone know what a sub-routine is and what integration of a sub routine means?

@arkark @ToeiRei have you tried decoding the RGBC - Code to WASD (16 Combinations) and thenn decrypting it with https://ark.gamepedia.com/Template:ARKCode ?

if so, please post the result.

First lane is:                      (C)RCB RGRC BCGR BCGB RCBG BCGB CGCB RGCG BGRC RGCB GCBG RGCB CGCR RGCG RGCR RGCG (R)

Alternative First lane is:  (C)RCB BCBG BCGR RGCR RCBG ...........CGCB .......... BGRC .......... GCBG .......... CGCR .......... RGCR .......... (R)

Maybe you can also try the Alternative lane (DNA was read only on the top side/no alternation).

[LOG_TRANSMIT] To integrate them I need you to jump through some hoops.

Hoops can mean alot:

1. Maybe the DNA Code is written in Hoops. That means we have another 16 more combinations (or 16*4 if we take each single letter):

CRCB RGRC BCGR BCGB RCBG BCGB CGCB RGCG BGRC RGCB GCBG RGCB CGCR RGCG RGCR RGCG

RGRC BCGR BCGB RCBG BCGB CGCB RGCG BGRC RGCB GCBG RGCB CGCR RGCG RGCR RGCG CRCB

BCGR BCGB RCBG BCGB CGCB RGCG BGRC RGCB GCBG RGCB CGCR RGCG RGCR RGCG CRCB RGRC

BCGB RCBG BCGB CGCB RGCG BGRC RGCB GCBG RGCB CGCR RGCG RGCR RGCG CRCB RGRC BCGR

...

2. Maybe we have to jump through the hoops of the VR View. (can we move the camera?)

I made a script that gets a RGCB line, converts to all possibilities of WASD and checks all against the WASD code automatically.

Example if I convert the "APSecureConnection" into RGBC string:

alex@DESKTOP-IMAFHPR:/mnt/c/Users/Alex/Downloads$ python decoder.py
ORIGINAL: RCCRRRCCRRCBRGRRRGCBRBRRRBCGRGRRRCCBRGBBRGBGRGBGRGRRRGCBRBRCRGGRRGBBRGBG

APREBeEBJHHEBdAJH

Post all the lines you like, I'll fast check against all the possible combinations.

BTW, of all combinations I've checked, I've only getting consistent results (same number of characters than string/4) if I follow the line pattern. However the character strings I get do not have any sense.

One thing Im looking now is, if we see other WASD string, there is usually some 3 same char together. I think that may be important in case the decoded words are real words, and not random strings.
