C:\temp\cryo0.bin That's my test output of the cryo data bytes as a binary file so I could better analyze them to see what was going on. Apologies for that. If you're desparate to run it before I get another update out I think creating C:\temp\ (if possible) will allow it to run at least.

No better Xmas gift than nerfing and changing everything to appease the PVP players at the expense of the PVE community. Rhynio armor = nerfed Rhynio weight = nerfed Rhynio carry = nerfed Rhynio stamina = nerfed Rhynio health = nerfed Console commands to improve computer performance and game breaking visual glitches = nerfed Harvesting = nerfed (reducing the number of nodes you can hit at once IS a reducing the amount you can harvest, no matter which way you try to spin the language) Cryo fridges on platforms = nerfed Render distance = nerfed (then lied about, then admitted it, then went back to lying about it) Non-nitrado server list = nerfed That's just in the last month, and I left a bunch out.. so what will you guys take from us next to appease the PVP players who get owned and then blame the game for their lack of skill?

Why are the admin commands that effect the visuals being blocked completely rather then letting individual server hosts make that decision? Especially those paying for a nitrado server. I’d be demanding a refund from nitrado if I was one of them. On the official network yeah absolutely disable all those, but dedi’s (personal and nitrado) are both being punished because the devs couldn’t do this in an efficient manner. The way clouds work at least on Xbox are pathetic and I need those off else flying a certain heights aren’t just annoying it’s impossible! Never know what directions your going as the screen isn’t just slightly hard to see it’s completely blinding bright white. Not to mention the ocean was always dark and murky but now clouds are somehow in the ocean too and it’s near pointless to go into the water. Those commands should have been setup in a way it was server side not baked into client/core game.

Its nauseating, disorientating, its blurry and its hard for people with poor eyesight to see much. The water is already a tedious and buggy enough place as it is, adding physical eyestrain and headaches in order to deal with it is not the path forward and will just make players not want to set foot in it. Why do SCUBA goggles do nothing? Why does TEK helmet do nothing? I suggest any of the following: Significantly reduce the fishbowl effect/add more clarity to underwater visuals. There is immersion and then there is torture, the only thing I am immersed in is a tension headache from squinting. If you do not want to do #1, then make SCUBA Goggles or TEK Helmet clear up the underwater visuals instead so that players have a way to actually see something if they farm the resources for it. Temporarily re-enable the ability to disable the postprocessing command via console in order to see underwater until solution #1 or #2 can be implemented. If all else fails then just add the Pearl and Black Pearl resources as well as more alpha creatures onto the mainland so that we don't have to set foot in the water. Its beyond bad at this point. Please just make a Wildcard dev actually sit down and go farm some pearls on an Anglerfish or something for 5 minutes and then tell me with a straight face that this gameplay should remain unchanged. I do not think that will be the case.

Install Microsoft.net 6 runtime and desktop runtime components. Launch ArkViewer.exe and select your mode. Unless you're running it locally to your save data it's probably going to be FTP. Enter a friendly server name then the host, port, username and password to hit connect and browse for your save file. Switch over to the "RCON" tab and setup them details too before saving. In the current version there is an issue where it won't allow you to "Save" any ftp server without selectin the raw TheIsland_WP.ark file. Next release will allow selection of .gz too.

this only happens the first time when there is a new update and you just need to expand more information in this pop-up and allow it to run, because it is known that the application does not come from Microsoft, which is why Windows warns before running it for the first time

Thank you so much for porting this invaluable tool to ASA. As a cluster admin, I relied on ASV so much in ASE that the first time I tried assisting a survivor in ASA, I had forgotten how to manage without it. Keep up the great work. When u added patch notes and disabled admin controls for pvp/pve which is understandable u also did it for single player .. It was pretty neat because I use it for kibble and saddles and I could get all items, see different maps and Dino’s that’s was in a different map but couldn’t use because there not out yet and u also had the ability to teleport to different parts of the map. Now it’s gone I have to use tedious console commands . Could y’all think about making it for single players only to access that? Cause after the patch notes it’s gone

I find it odd the only response I got about orp servers was me being warned not to bring it up on certain threads, not sure any person of authority actually reads these but if so orp is the only way alot of people can play, whether yall actually care or not is unclear but I'm sure your fan base would increase if we could actually treat this game like a game and not a second job 🤷

Cryopods make you free of non stop meat run slavery specially with bad respawn and server instability.

Just out of curiosity I took a look at Palia, and wow. It is so different from ARK that any comparison between the two is a moot point. While it's true they both have harvesting and building, Palia is a classic RPG, and a "cozy game" on top of that, while ARK is an open-world sandbox game with a hostile environment, there are many more differences than similarities. The home instances that they use in Palia would be terrible in ARK, as they completely remove home bases from interacting with the rest of the game. Bases in ARK are never, ever supposed to be a sanctuary that is separate from, and protected from, the rest of the game. Every base in ARK, whether PvP or PvE, is supposed to be part of the environment and interact with the environment (and other players). Base building in Palia is all about building your own personal, private space that's separate from the rest of the game. Base building in ARK is all about being part of the world your base inhabits. In ARK, there should never be a time when a base is isolated from, and immune to, the environment around it. That wouldn't be ARK any more.

There are so many areas which are so crammed with trees and bushes, causing bad lag and making it impossible to play there. Maybe the reason was that the devs wanted impress us with the new engine by making ultradense djungles. It looks really way better, but if my framerate goes below 20 fps then I simply avoid this areas and play only in biomes with normal vegetation. When I played ASA first on my old GTX card I knew I have to buy something better, and spent 300 bucks for a RTX3 card. I usually play on low resolution like 1366x768, this gives a huge performance boost compared to those who play on high resolutions. But inspite I have ALL settings turned down to lowest values, I have only fluid gameplay outside of this ultradense vegetation packed areas. So my suggestion to the devs is: OK, we have seen now what the new engine is able to, so just remove half of the trees and bushes from the djungle areas to make them playable.

Been playing ark ascended single player for a couple days on my series X with no problems. Now when I go to load in it crashes on loading screen. Haven’t been able to get in for 2 days now. Tried resetting Xbox, hard reset, delete game and re download. Nothing has worked please help!!!!

Are you actually being serious right now? You've got many official mods from A.S.E. to choose from if you want to showcase examples for mods; admitably all are maps except for Primitive + but still. Or, for this particular event, since the event is geared towards A.S.A., you've got tons of new official mods to showcase as examples from A.S.A. And yet you choose to highlight Primitive + in your announcement to build excitement? The official mod mode that you abandoned to the point where it barely works anymore on A.S.E.? When I read that part of the post I literally burst out laughing. I mean; seriously? Now I love Primitive +; It's a great mode for Ark; that's not the issue here. The issue, is that I can't and haven't been able to use Primitive + on A.S.E. for years now. The mode that I instantly loved, but almost right away was unable to use and haven't been able to use since. Just; guys; why would you use Primitive + as an example of praise for your game? 🤣
