Suggestion

TLC pass 3 would be an amazing thing for the game right now. Many of water creatures have been neglected and they don’t have special abilities. Also many land dinosaurs like the carno have almost no purpose to tame. It would be better if TLC 3 could help some of these creatures get their usefulness back!

Equus, Iguanodons and Ptera may be better, because they can attack, but Equus and Iguanodons are slower unless you pump up their speed. The Diplo can be easy prey, because of its size and the lack of attacking, and i have to agree with you at that point, because i havent thought of that, but bringing up the Mana, which is one of the most unbalanced creatures in the game, is not a very good argument. It can be the answer to everything. Why should you tame a Rex, if you can tame a Mana? Why should you tame Wyverns, when you can have a Mana? And thats the thing. The Mana is the weakest argument you can bring up in a conversation, because it is definition of unbalanced.

When was the last time you used a mana? They are almost painful to use these days with their stamina drain, horrible stam recovery, hugely reduced damage and range on the ice breath. They were certainly unbalanced on release but they have been nerfed hugely

TLC ideas!

 

some of these are from my old post but i updated them!

  

Sabertooth: "new Look , able to Sneak to do bonus damage (and can Hold Small size prey if pounced) and able to move and jump side to side"

Mammoth: Able to shoot water out, new look , platform saddle , and a herd boost" (water dose damage and if its cold water then it will slowly freeze the dino) and give boost against the cold so you don't freeze 

 Carno: able to turn around in a 360 to attack targets behind you, When Ruining you move faster and if you Attack while running you do a charge, Rage is gain each time he is hit and once Full he will do extra Damage and More damage resistance but food will drain much faster, Kick! due to its Strong legs it can do a Very strong kick to stun!

Carbonemys: new look , able to hide in shell , able to flip on his back and spin like a saw blade but its nearly uncontrollable, a snapping turtle jaw that allows it to eat fish meat, Somewhat faster Swimming and able to spin in water.

Megaloceros, increases size (2xs to be exact ) and new look , male able to kick in the back, gets a outnumbered effect where if there's more creatures that can hurt it i gets stronger, and antlers cause Bleed, Female Increase Carry weight , Able to kick back and causes males to be more aggressive

 Quetzal: "new look, increase stamina the higher you are, adrenaline effect allows it to move much Faster for a lot and all resources from metal ingots to buildings wight is cut by 75%, able to Flap wings like wyvern to get stuff away ,

".Pteranodon: "new look ,Able to dive like a owl, able to dive in the water to kill fish, and able to Grapple on walls". can give down. if attacked in a group they will attack you and try to pick you up!

Pelagornis: "able to dive underwater for a short period of time, get a boost when fishing , when eating fish you can get Organic polly , oil , chitten , prime fish meat , leech blood and ammonite bile , able to get organic polly by killing dodos but if you kill anything that has natural polly on them you get 3x more. also megalodons ,  ichthys and leeds swim way from them due to them being one of their predators 

Bronto: "new look, Fixed feet, neck stands up tall , able to destroy stone (With Heavy Stomp!)  stomp heavy attack , tail wack , Front Bash and able to Stand on its Feet, The Giga of Herbivores"

. Stego:"new look ,  Able to hold its atack to do even more damage , new look , a roar to recruit wild Stegos to your side like the yuty, herd boost, alpha gets a stun effect". better run (similar to Kentro), And Bite!

Terror bird: armor piercing 15%, new look, Claw scratch , more prime meat gathering, pack boost with call". when Hovering in the air they can do a Scratch with both claws in mid air and causes Bleed"

Titanoboa:" Both Venomous and a constrictor, ride able , Breed able , Able to Grapple on Big dinos and sufficient them and bite for torpor, able to get eggs without Agro".

Spider: "Able to climb walls , Uses webs to reinforce Buildings with its webs , Faster speed, Jump, A stamina drain bite, able to shoot webs and weakens effected target and new look".

 Frog: "auto lock on Bugs and increase damage to all bugs and new look". able to get Prime meat from bugs. Bug killing boost. and gather More Past when killing bigger bugs.

Theryzenio: new look, Claw Combo (like tek claws. they get faster and faster when Slashing)

Giga: "Rage can be controlled by trying to claim it down but if it keeps taking damage it will get mad, when it roars is weaken enemies for 1 min with cool down' when done raging it will get a tired effect where Stamina Gets low and torpor rises AND new look"

Diplodocus: "not able to directly but can crack its tail like a wipe, can make even the biggest carnivore run! Decrease Weight on Natural resources and new look".

Patchy: " slight size increases, Causes More torpor, new look, increases Damage resistance, Pack boost , and Can break Doors not gates (note: only low end doors) and can Gather up stone, flint and Metal as a Early on Anky

Wyvern: "able to aim attack like managarmer"

Megalodon:" new look , able to sense weak enemies Like the wolf, a Heath boost when eating a corps, Feeding frenzy Buff when killing alot of animals, much better turn, Tons of Teeth!

Plesio: able to stick its head out of the water, new look , able to turn in a 360 to attack., and Flipper Slap that knocks dinos back, head Retracks to its body so if a Dino is attacking you he can get his head in the right area to attack, and has a very high Melee Length 

Basilo: AOE heal abilty for water, Has a O2 bar so you can survive deep under the water, Able to carry two people.

Mosa: "New look, Tail attack for the Back". and able to do a roar that acts like a yuty roar (only the fear part but it weakens dinos instead of making them go out of control. Move Quickly when going up and down.

Angler: "New look and Able in increases and decreases Light and able to scare off eels and jellyfish way",

Jellyfish: "A timer to stun you and your able to swim away".

Scorpion: new look, buttons for claws and Stinger, able to produce narcoice's per hour, able to Inject KO dinos with Venom. and a AOE Tail Spin 

Moth: Able to Produce Silk and is Able to Change Its Gas From Pharmons , to make everything Go berserk , to A Blinding Gas and Even and A fertilized one where it Helps Crops Grow like a Crop Duster, able to Land on walls like a Tappy and more stamina 

 Monkey: New look , and Has A crafting Skin that can help You when you craft stuff.

Dimetrodon: Acts like A living trough For Babies ,Keeps the Area Cool or warm, easier tame, Plays with babys to Up imprint (has cool down)

Paracer: Able to Back Kick Like A GIANT horse , new look , and Has 25% Armor, more trample, Neck WIPE!

Kapro: New look and Able to Jump high, Pounce does more damage Agents Big Dinos and Flyers, able to Punch off the kapro, and takes no fall damage.

Anky : New look and Smother animations a GATHER option Like moschops. to gather different resources and it could be a bit more viable for combat!

Dode: New look and smoother animations  a GATHER option like moscops. to gather stuff! and when it rolls you can turn it and it could be like a base game rolerat "but not good for structures And saddle could be built/look like the rolerat saddle

Piranha: Acts like hyena attacks if your weak  and new look.

Baryonyx: able to uses its claws on land, Timer for Tail spin for spam, Does more damage against water dinos, New look , Heals super quick if it eats prime fish

Perlova: Able to ride and Berrow Underground Like A basilisk But Not as Good and new look

 Morellatops: Able to upgrade Water storage. new look and able to carry 3 people, and can shoot water from mouth to deal damage. (due to the heat its boiling)

Thorny Dragon: Able to Bite witch is venomous and better at getting wood, Better Spike Damage. Rapid Fire mode, 

Chailco: New look, and option to throw poop, AOE slamb, can feed berrys to tame but beer is still better.

Dillo: Able to ride due to it being slightly bigger then a Pachy, Your first carnivore, Better Spit range, Bite that drains a Bit of Stamina, Slight faster, new look , Able to shoot your frill and it will scare away Small or mid dinos. able to jump. weak in terms of Hp but they heal faster if you give them Narcos.

Dung beetle able to pick up poop

 Bigfoot able to hold tools 

, Bats size decrease To ride your shoulder, and can spawn in jungles and swamps 

Diens running way/ Random passive Flee, Can spawn Randomly in the wild but if two Mate boosted ones are next to each other they make a Nest like A beaver dam

Thylo: claw swipe, Better Climb , Fast Claw swipe

Enforcer: Have Natural Armor, Drones can Repair, Feeding it element makes it go into "overdrive" its 3Xs stronger!

Phiomias: drops Prime meat at least 2 , Phiomias would Drop a unique kind of Poop called Phiomia Droppings," when feed to a dung Beetle you get more fertilizer and Netro which is a substitute for Gunpowder" 

Megalania: able to spawn on the surface , can spit a venom like dillo that Poisons People/Dinos , rabies can infect dinos, able to Attack Wild animals, 

Kentro: able to ride with a specially made saddle, like the thorny dragon , but with the saddle it does less damage when attacked 

Gailli: able to double jump! wight is reduced, new look , and saddle acts like a mix of a smith and a moder and pestle. 

daeodon: able to spawn in mountains, Swamps and rarely redwoods   ,allow it  can eat veggies as well, better Heal then Owl , Grants a regen buff when tame in healing circle that grants 5xs Natural  HP and Stamina regen 

Ichyornus/seagull: they don't attack if unless you attack it. get able to retrieve items and even resources like wood. and gives fishing boost so you can get loot!

Sacro: Big boost in HP and damage resistance

Duncle: able to get metal , crystal and obsidian from oil rocks, 100% Armor Penetration, can Slowy Digest rocks into a Sack to shoot Rocks at a Very high Speed! like a Catapult!. Craft them in its inventory with Oil , Rock and Obsidian 

Iguanodon:" harvest crops for you!, gathers more seeds , rare flowers and mushrooms! able to gather rare flower seeds  , rare mushroom spores, and on AB you can get the spores to grow your shrooms!, better at combat so its a Nice combat herbivore, and when running you can Hold melee and it will do into a Dash where its runs on its toes and can do Slashes when running.

Beaver: new look:  "able to build dams and can turn wood into "pulp" witch can be a substitute for Cementing paste" 

Compy: new look , when it bites you/anything it gains a bit of HP. has a bite that lowers stam, and is Super Attracted to Corpse's and travel in Big numbers!

Diplocaulus: Size decrease enough for it to ride your shoulder  , same ability with the water, It emits a Smell that used emits a smell that make animals ignore you or run away. 

or it normal size and it when you ride it in water it can insta Kill  trilobites  and eurypterids and can get a ton of chitin , pearls , black pearls and more!

Allo: new look , Less stomping sounds, able to uses it claws! and able to gather a nice bit of prime meat!. Able to climb harder/sloped surfaces with ease (like Tek boots) . and a small jump! like raptor! and reduce fall damage due to them living in the mountains. 

Archy: able to ride your shoulder but it you jump from a height like 4 walls high it acts like if you wear holding him!

kiruku: Able to gather fish for you! and allows eggs to stay at a certain time like 75% 50% 25% or even 1% so it can hold it for you (no matter the size) and new look! also lays eggs like DODO's!
 

Troodon: it makes a loud Clicking sound when hunting you! and it stalks you! Slightly easier to tame. you can drop fertile eggs and they will kill them and give it! and when it bites Dinos they take more damage!

Jerboa: able to alert you to any near by predators (depends on size) 

Hestorois/duck: lays Golden eggs more time depends on size of fish! or number: (it can lay even two) and a hunt ability that allows it to hunt fish! and pirana's fear them!

Manta: able to do a 360 attack and gets a pack boost new look! can tame with meat.

Megatherium: same ability but if he eats Bugs you can get Oil and rarely organic polly (only from bigger bugs) slam Attack thats does a AOE effect

Microraptor: when they see you they screech and they have a stun lock where if you get knock off once it takes 30 secs before they can do it again!

Moschops: Able to gather Fish! new look , and new resources and can get prime meat or fish meat from any animal!

Dimmoth: new look and able to gain a bit of HP when it eats fresh meat!

Pachyrhino: new look!, Attack dose small KO damage! and two ways to emit gas! blast: shoots it forward! and AOE ,  also makes you emin to any gas/chemical effect's!  also able to use new gas and change the types. Pacify: makes dino's that attack you avoid you! Rage: makes dinos have a effect like the ammonite bile and but the dinos won't attack you. just each other or whatever you effected. Allie: much like the yuty roar wear it can alli Wild carnos. this gas can turn a wild dino on your side for around 3 mins. (some dinos are not affected) and Adrenalin: acts like a Weaken Yuty Boost! its gives a small HP heal and Damage resistance boost!

Megalo: New look, able to Move around during the day if they slept enough. able to spawn on the surface. "hunting vision" when its night give a hint of night vision, and dinos are Highlighted with a Red Glow much like a tek helmet (just not as advance can't go through walls) More quiet when moving! and can attack nearly anything if it gets close!

Snail: Able to feed Berries , able to make more Paste and polly. also its able to grow a organic form of "absorbent Subtract and silica"

Tappy: can move on walls like a thylo, and Wight from players is reduced!

Rex: a bloodthirsty effect: happens when you kill a dino it increases damage just a bit but causes it to heal a bit faster and more damage resistance.( goes by % and bigger/stronger the dino the more % you get so if you kill like 10 dodos you can get 0.50%

trike: Takes 85% less damage when attacked in the front (arrows do nothing but bullets still can)  when attacked head first!, Rivalry is boosted, and bigger dinos like rexs , Brontos , spinos etc when they are rammed by the trike get slown and the gash effect! 

Raptor: Jump Height increase, able to jump when attacking in the wild (like a ravager), natural pack boost! and able to "jump attack" when they have their claws out and causes more damage!

Pego: able to get boost when looking in drops!

Woolly rhino: Able to have charge attack (like the trike) and has a small damage resistance do to there hide , Able to harvest ATON of thatch, and can even Harvest Stone and Metal but not as good as a Anky!

Reaper: A small boost in damage. Different Tails can have different Abilities! (Barb tail: Shoots small barbs like the reaper queen , Acid Bomb: Almost like the base tail attack but the falls fall and they blow up into a ball of acid kinda like when the reaper dies but smaller. Able to Roar!

Griffin: Roar/screech that Weakens enemies Damage resistance!  able to attack wild dinos!

Titanosaur: ok this one is debatable but i have a Few ideas! but here's the base idea

new LOOK , Able to weck Spikes and anything under his feet!, NEW attack Tail whip! has natural armor like Reaper.  Last Much longer then TITAN!`

Eurypterid: Able to be tamed and ride!, size increase , New look and animations, Able to "snap its Claws" to make the nearby water "boiled" to kill prey! also has a boost roar like the yuty! can't go on land!

Rock Drake: due to them eating Nameless venom they gain a venom ability that drains HP (5PS) 

Leeds: Size increase. can be tamed! But it's Hard!. Able to ride!  slight new look , Has teeth like sperm whale! Able to Jump out of water like a whale! can Ride! can harvest meat from it! and also loot can be found in him much like a supply drop if you kill a wild one.

 

Otter: Able to gather more Pearls , and deals 40X damage against Fish!  Hunt option for fish! wild otters hunt fish!  

Managarmer: shoots a Ray or ring that does the freeze, Able to hover in mid air, more melee damage.

Ravager: Does Bleed like Dien even when tamed but only the alpha

Human: Better models and can change look kinda like in Atlas body, Muscles, fat , Face , Eyes , Size etc. Human Hotbox are Equal,  Humans have 200 wight to spawn with, movement speed is based off "Adrenalin" from fast dinos and if your about to die, able to eat while underwater or in mid air, they have a Base tempager so you don't just walk in the snow and then just Instant ice cub.  

Defense Unit: Able to build on Extinction and use (called defenders) they are the Tanks for Robots, able to Role and Jump, Slash , heavy slash, and a Overdrive move where the claws become Shock claws and they do more Damage. 

Magmasaur: natural armor, Better smelting (not as good as a Industrial forge but its not as slow as a Refinery Forge), Much better melee, Reduced Damage to Tek and metal but with enough time! you can destroy it.

Bloodstalker: Able to Give a Bit of blood back to you if you are hurt (just heal 3xs faster then normal)

Ferox: in the wild the can go crazy!, Able to feed element Shards as well but you need alot! , Slam does more Knockback!

Leech: when you gain swamp fever it will go away over time and you gain a Sligh immunity for like a hour, if you have a Torch and Melee it will kill them if they are on you!

Mine would be the spider, ate taming that thing, but the idea that to use its web to reinforce walls, (could even climb the web) its just brilliant, would really work in PVP

Quetz:

*Speed Buff: it is dreadfully slow right now

*Carry Buff: The quetz in real life was as big as a giga Make it able to pick up ertain larger creatures: 

Plesi: 

*Mobility: give it a mobility like a Tapejara or Griffin

* When around other plesi's give it a slight pack buff ( Like half resistance and damage bonus) the reason for this is because if they got the full buff they would be to OP

Rex:

Ok hear me out

The rexs name translates to Tyrant lizard King as in King of the dinos maybe give it better melee then something half its size *cough* Megalosaurus *cough*

*All the rex got in its TLC was a a melee nerf, a model, and something that is useless. the roar only effects smaller creatures that are lower level then the rex. What sucks about this is that the rex already did amazing against its prey and even packs of brontos i've seen it demolish 5 stegos at lvl 3 before the TLC,  now they get killed by those stegos. The roar only effects creatures smaller than the rex which haha it ALREADY CAN KILL WITH EASE.

* HP 1100-1500 Melee 62-75

* In the dossier Helena give writes from is Bite from its stomp to its Tail So why not use these

*The Stomp should be like the Acros 

* A tail lash like the bronto could be amazing the tail could do a little bit of torpor or even dismout the rider. There should be a heavy cooldown to prevent Spam

Carno:

*Give a 75% meat reduction as well as hide and pelt with a 25% reduction

* Charge attack that does torpor as well as Bleed

* A pack bonus

Stego:

* A bleeding effect with tail

*  A pack bonus but with health instead of damage

* A Buff with its plates 

When in hot Climates: Plates turn Orange and gets a Weight buff

When in Cold climates: Plates turn Blue and gets a Stamina Buff

When above 50% hp: Plates are red and gets a Damage Buff

When in water; Plates turn Green and give a Oxygen buff

When near other Stegos (Pack bonus thing I mentioned above) :Gives a Health and Resistance Buff and Plates turn Purple

When fed Sweet Veggie Cake : Plates turn Yellow and can harvest more efficiently

 

Mammoth:

*Gives insulated buff to rider

* Can spray water with trunk and can be fired with such force it deals torpor

* Tusks deal bleed

Dilo:

they were much bigger in real life:

*make them as big as raptors and give them a saddle

*Pack buff

*Venom spit damage increased

Turtle:

*Can retreat into shell

*Spino hydrated buff

*Swim speed up

Titanoboa:

*make it ridable

* can climb ceilings and surfaces

* Coil attack that causes suffocation

Why the following should not get buffs:

Bronto

Giga

Paracer

Mosa

The Giga and Mosa because their role is to be very Powerful but doesn't  do anything else

The bronto and paracer because their role is to be mobile bases

  • Baryonyx - Can no longer stun players off a Dinosaur that is being ridden (can still stun the dinosaur though), Stunning an enemy makes it immune to stuns for 20 seconds similar to Snow Owl immunity to prevent being CCed to death

  • Eel - Allow it to be slotted into a Dinosaur's saddle via Fish Basket to function similar to HLNA for the Dinosaur, gives the Dinosaur the ability to slow targets for a few seconds (with a long cooldown) or gives it the ability to supercharge the Dinosaur increasing it's movement speed temporarily. Gestation reduced from 5 hours to 2.

  • Angler - Can be slotted into a dinosaur's inventory via fishbasket similar to HLNA. Accompanies the dino providing a light source that scares off Eels/Cindaria. Makes the Dino immune to Eel effects. Gestation reduced from 5 hours to 2.

  • Basilosaurus - Need's a HP nerf probably and they need to fix the surface buff not applying in caves despite those caves being more or less at surface level (because everyone lives in caves).

  • Dunkelosteus - Weight reduction to Obsidian and Crystal. Gestation reduced from 8 hours to 4.

  • Diplocaulus - Creates an oxygen bubble around itself that allows players to restore oxygen and stamina like the Genesis mechanic. Gives players a reduced version of the Lazarus Chowder buff for a couple of minutes after leaving the bubble.

Land:

  • Rhino - Needs to be MASSIVELY nerfed, probably the biggest problem with the game currently forcing everyone to use Meks to defend against them. Gestation increased to 8 hours. 7 day raise time. Revert Plant Z nerf to specifically effect this Dino.

  • Daeodon - Allow them to eat basically anything organic (berries, seeds, mushrooms, etc). Allow Rare Mushrooms to return 100 food per mushroom.

  • Pulminoscorpius - Allow it to passively generate a toxin substance that can be converted to Medical Brews, similar to how some water creatures generate Oil.

  • Araneo - Creates temporary ziplines that last for a few hours and can be used bi-directionally without any sort of equipment, or allow the Araneo itself to craft a version of the zipline equipment similar to the Horse. Allow it to transfer to Aberration.

  • Phiomia - Allow them to be slaughtered like the Sheep. Tamed/Raised Phiomia should give 2000-3000 meat when slaughtered. Give them a long raise time but make them very easy to raise (similar to the Gacha on Wandering). Gestation reduced from 10 hours to 4 hours. 7 day raise time. Auto-wandering allows them to forage for food to raise themselves (has to be enabled).

  • Diplodocus - Let it function as a battering ram that can damage Metal/Tek Doors. Players riding in the saddle should be immune to player only turrets but the Diplo takes increased damage per player riding the saddle.

  • Allosaurus - Allow the non-pack leader Allosaurus to give a damage amplification roar similar to the Yutyrannus' fear that amplifies the damage of all other Allosaurus' to the targets, including amplifying the bleed effects. This gives the supporting Allosaurus ways to support each other by buffing each others damage. Make it cap at 4 stacks so that groups of 5 Allosaurus are worth riding. Make Allo Packs cap at 5 so that more Allos creates more packs allowing a pack leader per every 5 Allos. Give the Allo an option that allows you to set a preference for being a Pack Leader or a Supporting Allo.

  • Carno - Allow the Yutyrannus supercharge it with it's buff making it 10 times stronger. Make it deal more damage to Allosaurus and provide a "Guard" effect to nullify the effects of the above Allosaurus changes so that it functions as a counter. Allow it's right click to have a very small knockback effect so that it can bully anything the size of a Paracer or below by knocking them around.

  • Gigantopithecus - Give it a slot for a new item called the Tek Implant. The Tek Implant massively raises the intelligence of the Gigantopithecus unlocking increased functionality. You can use the NPC AI from ATLAS to allow the Gigantopithecus to become a NPC. Let it man player mounted turrets or rocket turrets, let them farm basic resources like fiber/flint/thatch and have them return the resources to a dedicated storage, let them use melee weapons or pistols, etc, possibilities are endless.

  • Kentrosaurus - Return it to it's glory days. Make it not effected by cryosickness and make babies return no damage. Make it one-shot kill Rhinos if they hit them fully charged. Let them Impale Rhinos.

  • Mek - Cannot damage players. 50% movement speed reduction. MCSM cannon one shot kills Rhinos on direct hit, massive damage on splash. MRLM deals massively increased damage to small flyers such as Pteranodon, Argent, Tapejara, etc. MDSM shield removes the ability for Rhinos to charge for 30 seconds or within the shield.

  • Roll Rat - Improve turning radius so it turns faster than a Bronto or allow it to roll backwards. Allow it to damage Tek Turrets.

  • Rex - Redesign it's roar effect so that it's not based on dinosaur level and isn't a complete meme.

  • Sabertooth - Let it prowl similar to Rock Drake camouflage. Gestation reduced from 4 hours to 2 hours.

  • Moschops - Revert the organic polymer nerf so that farming Mantis is viable again.

  • Mesopithecus - Allow it to open enemy player doors on platform saddles. Takes 90% less damage from "big" dinos.

  • Oviraptors - Allow them to collect eggs.

  • Titanosaur - Improve their stamina and stamina regeneration so that they can actually function and deal some sort of damage in the few minutes they have to live before they get deleted by Gigas and Meks.

  • Thorny Dragon - Give it Turret Mode. Allow damage to massively scale it's torpor generation so it function like a Velo turret that knockouts creatures. 99% reduced effect against players. Only 1 torpor effect can work at a time so you can't spam a million of them.

  • Thylacoleo - Increase it's damage or allow it to buff the firerate/damage of weapons shot whilst riding it. Reduce recoil sway of Fab Sniper and Longneck to Shadow Steak levels when shooting whilst riding. Reduce Arrow draw time of bows whilst riding it. Allow it to be transferred to Aberration.

  • Giganotosaurus - Balance rage generated by other Giganotosaurus so that it takes more bites to enrage but increase the rage generated by non-Giganotosaurs dinos such as the Rex, Therizino, etc so that they can also enrage it. (make Giga fights are bit more interesting other than one two enrage you're dead or the other guy is).

  • Dung Beetle - Auto wandering collects poop. Increase Fertilizer weight so that as they collect poop they get weighted down and can't move (to balance the automation and give the player a sign that they're ready to be collected).

  • Dimetrodon - Reduces Gestation timer, similar to how the Oviraptor reduces the Mating Interval. Or Reduces baby food consumption. Or Allow it function as the underwater equivalent of the Oviraptor.

 

In a similar vein of the TLC pass I think a good idea would be to add a Dino equipment slot that allows you to slot in crafted items that provide benefits to your dino. This would allow players to invest a bit more into the dino to grant them an effect that would counter something that is extremely annoying with the current meta gameplay. You could only equip 1 item at a time meaning you would have to choose between them. Here are some examples:

  • New item: Blinders that provides the current area reduction to the Plant Z effect. Dinos are also less susceptible to fear effects. Revert the previous Plant Z nerf so that Dinos without the Blinders are effectly similar to how they were pre Z nerf. 

  • New item: Dinoshoes. Gives immunity to Plant Y effects for 20 seconds upon triggering a Plant Y trap, 5 minute cooldown. 

  • New item: Saddle Chain. Upon getting picked by a flyer you are returned to the saddle after a 2 second delay. 5 minute cooldown.

  • New item: Thermal Emission System. Upon being frozen provides immunity to freezing effects for 1 minute. 5 minute cooldown.

  • New item: Blademail. Returns a small amount of damage to attacking dinosaurs (5%). Provides 100% damage return to Rhino charges.

  • New item: Anti-Radiation Dispenser. Automatically triggers Mushroom Brews inside a Dino's inventory. Extends the duration of Mushroom Brews effects to 10 minutes per Mushroom Brew.

 

I think each Dino should have its own custom armor that it can wear for protection. Kinda like how in medieval times horses would be given protective armor for battle. I've always thought that having the saddle be its only armor a bit ridiculous.

I'm not saying they remove saddles as armor, but just make all saddles primitive only and the base, weakest form of defense. And don't make the armor an engram, but a rare item that can only be found in drops, with the higher qualities even rarer finds.

A TLC add I'd like to see is a shoulder pet with the ability to give the survivor an attack boost. Kind of like how the Yutyrannus roars and buffs your dinos, the pet could buff the humans.

It could be the Mesopithicus. While on your shoulder, it could beat it's chest and and let out a loud screech that gives any nearby humans an attack (or defense) buff.

I think it would have its main attack be its bite and its second attack be a claw attack that does devistating damage. I think that the Pachyrhino needs a TLC:

I think it needs an update to its model and abilities. Its main attack would brake bone to big dinos and throw small creatures. I think it would also use its head as a battering ram. It would also be much faster than it is now. They would move and migrate in groups of 5-7. There would be sexual diversity in males and females, the males would be bigger and more colorful and have bigger with bigger horns and in every herd there is a male that is a buck and  has a roar that can intimidate up to an Allo.

Another Idea i had is for the Dilo now it is largely based off of the tlc idea made by DjayMasi but i also had some ideas for  it.ARK TLCs - Dilophosaurus by DjayMasi on DeviantArt

I think that in addition to this I think it should be immune or at least resistant to other toxins and  poisons. I also think it could have its blinding acid but if it has narcotic in its new inventory space (like a poison gland space ) its spit can tranq dinos, Which would give it some uniqueness to it.

A tlc that i think everyone would love is the Quetz. I love the Quetz but i think it could be way faster and some new abilities and a new model. Now I've heard a lot of people talking about wanting a Carno tlc and I am one of those people. I think that in terms of abilities it should have a reworked saddle and a charge attack, but other than that just some small changes (making it a bit bigger and a speed buff) and obviously a new model.ARK TLCs - Carnotaurus by DjayMasi on DeviantArt

The Diplo is a good travel mount, but easily falls prey to predators like Allosaurs and Managarmr, who have no issue keeping up with it. 

 

Yeah, they can be useful, but these creatures don't have enough behind them to justify their use outside of personal preference.

I dont think a charging attack would work, because its neck muscels could absorb some impact energy, but the head would still get damaged. 

And the Carno was a fast (top speed 50-60 km/h, 30-35 mph) dino that was hunting small prey mostly. This means, that a future TLC of the Carno could be a boost of the movement speed a damage buff for everything smaller than a Dilo and more silent footsteps. Since it was good at hunting, make it the first dino to crouch to give the creatures around a smaller aggro range, but a slower movement speed.

An animation and design rework would also be great.

The Carno is good for killing alpha raptors. 

The female megaloceros is good for traveling

Same for the Diplodocus. And it can also knock back creatures, which can be helpful in some situations.

Carno at least needs a makeover though, its claws look like it got them stuck in a bear trap lol
