(Official, Valguero) did two big metal runs. Gathered berries. Unpodded juvi ankylo and gasbags to raise. Bred gigas. Unpodded gacha to raise with the "don't feed, keep rendered" method. Was fine for a while, but game crashed so it died anyway. Also, giga egg was lost because of that. Bred rexes. Bred argies. Put rex eggs in the hatchery. Forgot about argies, so egg died. Bred basilos. Currently just waiting for rexes to hatch. I'm taming a new diplo. Female, level 90, and the color is that, I'm not sure what. The dark pinkish-red. The color of things that are almost certainly cherry flavored. She also has gray back and red spines, which looks nice in combo with body/belly color. I'm going to name her Nuka-Cherry. It's lighter now, so I can see that her color is closer to magenta (and probably is magenta). Still looks cool, still taming her. Diplos are among the few things that look good with that kind of color. ... Gachas born, twins, nothing great in either of their production, so I killed them. By the way, tek rexes hatched earlier, also nothing remarkable, also all killed. Just gotta wait for the basilo now, and then I'll pick remaining eggs (giga and diplo), pod the gasbags and ankylo, and that'll be enough of ARK for me today. ... Basilo born. Right weight, stam and melee, wrong health. Killed it.

Xbox SP, The Island Thanks for any tips I got on my recent posts, guys. I really take any advice to heart. I’m so excited to share with you what’s happened in the past few logins I can hardly contain myself. Before I do, I’d like to just vent my frustrations about some of the single player bugs; I attempted to do the caverns of lost faith (easy water cave) in order to farm loot drops.... the cave had no dinos, no loot drops but DID have the artifact. Dino wipe, wait, try again and nothing. Also, totally separate gripe, I had a storage box with all my spare artifacts (all collected legitimately with an otter from every cave I’ve been to) and it disappeared after the last major update. The whole storage box and its contents, I don’t understand why just that would disappear and nothing else. I’d understand more if the artifacts were spawned in but that’s not the case. 😢 I’ll try to summarize the good news: - I’m max level and just now have I found for the first time... a master craft longneck bp! Lots of you will be laughing but you try using Ramshackle and journeyman rifle to tame and kill things 😂🤣. I’ve been waiting soooo long for a longneck blueprint of ANY kind. I’m very happy with this for now. - I live at hidden lake on the north side of the island, the reasons being safety and scenery. Hands down the biggest thing I love about this spot is the variety of (Usually safe) dinos that spawn there. Yesterday a low-lvl equus appeared and I just HAD to. I’ve always wanted to tame one but just never had the need, still don’t. It tamed up with one piece of kibble lol. His name is Eddie and I’m absolutely in LOVE with this creature!!! It’s not very useful at this point in my playthrough but I will for sure be going to try to tame this as a new survivor on the next maps after I ascend. A bittersweet victory, that one. - You guys should be happy with this one... tamed my first ever QUETZAL! yeah! I know. it’s a pretty big deal, try not to to get too jealous about it. In all seriousness, I never thought I’d be able to. My play style is being very cautious and focusing on preparedness. The idea of jumping off my argy and grappling it just made me cringe. I tried it a few times, but the whistle commands on Xbox are quite hard to do smoothly and I couldn’t trust that I’d be able to do it in the heat of the moment. I finally managed it using my Tapejara, switching to the front seat somewhere below the quetz and whistling on and off the bird. What a thrill! I haven’t had so much fun taming something in a very long time and unlike the horse, this one’s useful towards my end goal. We passed over the swamp, the redwoods, rivers... I was SURE I’d be losing it when it fell. I must’ve pleased the Ark gods at some point because it fell conveniently near a cliff where I was able to easily make a semi-circle of spiked walls around it. I never thought I’d be able to get one solo, but I did it. Soooo freakin happy. I’ll put it to good use, guys, I promise you that!

If anyone is wondering: " Well, today I continue to raise my generation of rex of the more than 80 eggs of which I selected 14 and of them almost twice as many babies came out, I was left with 21 of the best statistics 23k hp and 808 dmg. (Three or four I think have 23.5k hp.) While I waited the remaining two hours for the imprint, I went to gather the materials to face the beta monkey and thus obtain more elements to later make more tek feeders to raise giga later. Now waiting for 7:50 am to finish the imprint of my rex and finally have a good army to face the bosses in alpha. By the way I killed some alpha raptor to level up my chibi why did I lose the one that was about to level three yesterday to a Tyla.

Since I'm on playstation, neither will I 😆

Could we use some of that " Vin Diesel" money to actually fix the crashing servers ? I mean .... I know that's asking alot but.........

@Cordiste hey man were just as excited to read what you write too:) Congrats! I've always considered this thread to be my unofficial ARK family and love to read these. Read em every day even when I wasn't playing. Very big grats on the recent tames ! When you finish your SP go you should come join our server - longest running unofficial for Xbox. DJ has had this server since the start of unofficial and one of the leading admins for help on reddit before he went MIA on social. I thank raptor Jesus every day I get to log in, its a great cluster. XB CI - Server Didn't do too much yesterday, only had a little while to play. I made a bunch more cryopods and finally got around to cleaning up my base of all the gigas and wyverns. Helped a server mate craft a few cryo fridges and gave him a few preincubated giga eggs with only seconds to hatch. Other than that put some imprints on my latest giga, now I've got 3 fully imprinted ones, I figure I'll need about 6 to safely solo red drops without worry. Also half way to my boss wyvern crew- 6 and im shooting for 12-15. This weekend will be a big one. A server mate is going for some titan tames and ill probably tag along for the fun - if he let's me that is @Penguin73 You fell victim to the stasis bug. If the bags are on the ground when you log in they died just as you logged in - long standing bug ;( I'm sorry.

Didn't do much yesterday other than babysit and feed dinos while they mature (I have a few cleaning projects to do around the house before my daughter's birthday this weekend). Rexes, argie, and thyla hit their first imprint checkpoint. About the only exciting thing I did away from base (if you can call it exciting) was to take the bear out for honey for the first time. I didn't take much, just enough to make up some kibble. Worked great. No bee issues. lol. After the rexes were imprinted yesterday I put them back into pods. With a fresh 8 hours before their next imprint I wanted to see if I could leave them out while I slept. So I waited until I went to bed about midnight to unpod them again. I filled up the trough with food and then put 6 stacks of meat on each of them for insurance. IDK, just seemed like a thing to do. Anyway, when I woke up this morning two of them had died from starvation. I was away from game for about 7 1/2 hours and their bags were still on the ground so I did not miss by much. The trough was empty, and the other two rexes still had about 5 stacks of food on them. All 4 rexes were eating from the trough earlier so I don't think the trough was the issue. Did they eat at different rates? Perhaps. Their food stats were not all the same so maybe they feed differently too. Hmmm. Something to pay attention to I guess. I am not too upset about the rexes other than I really like the color pattern on one of them and was hoping to get more of it. Oh well. I mated the original rexes again and have 3 more eggs cooking now. I pulled out the triplet megatheriums and they have about 20 minutes until their first imprint. I moved the two surviving rexes outside cuz they were getting too big for the house. That's about it. Today will probably be more of the same.

Things I personally noted from the trailer for ARK 2: Rise of VIN DIESEL: The dinosaur that appears actually looks more like a real dinosaur, thank god! The place where the cave drawing are also seems to show the same glowing rings and federation stasis pods that we saw at the end of GP1, just overgrown and surrounded by rocks. I believe it is the same room that we saw there, but it appears to have wound up on an alien world somehow and has become some sort of holy site for the humans of this world. This also opens up the possibility that ARK 2: Rise of VIN DIESEL takes place hundreds or thousands of years after the end of ARK 1, based on how overgrown everything is. The cave drawing the girl looks at seems to show an obelisk, HLN-A, and, interestingly enough, one of the Genesis Colony Ships rings on the right, just minus the actual colony ship. The Genesis Simulation appears to have remained intact, despite having landed on an alien world. How this would play into the story of ARK 2: Rise of VIN DIESEL remains to be seen. Santiago's name appears to have been changed from Santiago Camacho to Santiago Da Costa, and he is now from the 24th century instead of the mid-22nd century. He now also appears to no longer be a fan of pop idols and now looks like VIN DIESEL for some reason. Everything else about his character and backstory seems to have remained the same. It appears to be implied that he fought his out of the GenSim, or was simply freed from his stasis pod after it landed on the planet, and is now raising a family on this new alien world. Interestingly, he seems to be rejecting his past experiences and maybe just tek altogether, as we see him delete all records of him from the GenSim. He could also be doing this to protect his family, as he knows how dangerous element is and wants to keep them as distanced from it as possible. Based on all that I've talked about, here's how I think the story of GP2 and ARK 2: Rise of VIN DIESEL will play out: HLN-A and the player realize it's impossible to remove Rockwell from the Colony Ship, so they do the next best thing by taking the green ring that isn't affected by him and separating it from the rest of the ship. They then blow up the rest of the ship, taking Rockwell with it as they make a daring escape to the planet below, joining everyone else as the colony ring lands and releases people onto the planet. Cut to hundreds or thousands of years later, and humanity has once again found itself on the brink of extinction due to a race of orc-like creatures (beings who appear to be infused with element) going to war with them. Most of humanity seems to have forgotten everything related to element or tek, and so has resorted to fighting using the basics of spears and dinosaurs. What remains of the Colony ship, ring, and Genesis Simulation have turned into holy sites for the humans, and in fact the only remaining knowledge of anything related to element, tek, or ARK 1 exist through tall tales - myths, spread by word of mouth, that speak of towering obelisks, seeds within the sky, and small hovering beings of metal that once gave guidance to those learning to survive. And now, the player must assume the role of VIN DIESEL as he must find a way to defeat the orcs once and for all, while also potentially unravelling (or potentially trying to reject or conceal) the truth about these "tall tales".

I did some research and the best UE version they can technically have is UE 4.26, which in theory would support existing assets. UE5 is due late-2021 and Fortnite will be the first game to feature it.

Lot of stuff to go over here... As someone else noted, we can see two 'small' moon-like objects in the sky and one giant planet object. If I had to guess, I would suggest that we were on a third moon of the big planet. There's also wreckage from the colony ship, or perhaps just something left behind from it, so I think it's safe to say that this planet/moon is wherever we go to at the end of Genesis 2. The main character of the teaser was Santiago, and the console he messed with opened up some kind of data purge on Santiago's own data? It's not completely clear what exactly he did, but, as you can tell, everything in there turned off. Fun note: The rex, ptero, and bronto all made an appearance, so we know they're sticking around, not that anyone expected those not to. Now, for the orcs, I wanted to check if they had implants, but they all seemed to have their arms covered where an implant would be, except for one where it was too low res to tell, so I'll have to wait until the hi res version comes out to know. If they don't have implants, I think they're probably natives to the planet, but if they do, then I'd say they're definitely Rockwell's minions. My personal guess right now is that they're natives. Regardless, they use tools and planned an ambush, so they're obviously intelligent.

Had a good day yesterday. Bred the rexes again for 3 more eggs. Then finished incubating and hatched all 12 eggs (3 at a time). The male breeding rex I have is a 404 and has all the best stats for health, stamina, weight, and melee. But he also high torpor, food, and oxygen... which I don't really want. I am away from console atm but I think the twins had the highest food and lowest oxygen and the other female had the lowest food and torpor. Anyway, Boring details. Sorry. After hatching all 12, none had the perfect combination. But I did keep 4 females that had all the best stats but 1. I started raising them and will breed them back to the male later. The others were sacrificed to the volcano. Only 3 out of the 12 were male. Mostly crap. (two of them had the highest stats in all categories and popped at 440. But I don't want to keep breeding back super high food, torpor, and oxygen back into the line so I got rid of them too.) I fed the four girls and let them sit for a little while I flew around. I found a 145 male megatherium that was a fantastic event-lavender color. It was over on the icy coast just south of the skylord cave. I kited it over the cliff and down to the lower ice shelf near the water and then remembered I moved my taming raft down to the SE corner of the island last week when searching for beaver. Crap! So I flew back to base, fed the rexes, then flew down to the boat and drove it all the way around to the ice. Took forever, but somehow the 145 mega was still there. I kited it into the raft and drove it back to a safer and warmer beach for taming. All good. Took it home and parked it next to the event-orange female Megatherium I found last week. Set them to mate. Fed rexes again and saw a 145 red argy flying above my place. I got on the ptera and lured it into the argy pen I have at home. Tamed it. I already have two decent argies M and F (I think they were both 140 wild), but they are both tan and poop brown. I was waiting for a little more color before doing any breeding... so I started mating with the red one. Since I was now babysitting 4 baby rexes and had Mega and Argy mating started, I decided to mate my two thyla again. Why not. Hendrix has turned out awesome and I figured I could use a back-up if something happens to him. My thyla breeding pair are both two-tone purple on top. Male has whilte belly and Female has electric-neon green belly. My previous mating that yielded Hendrix had dad's white. This time I got mom's green. Stats are not as good as Hendrix but the color is fantastic. Baby argy popped, poopy brown again. ugh! But received best stats in health, weight, and melee. So I will keep it. Megatherium popped, Triplets. Cool. All orange. They look like little walking fuzzy pumpkins. lol. 2 M, 1 F. Really, I only wanted 1 to imprint for caving and not sure I will need them all, but I will keep them for now. I left all the babies out on the floor to eat and grow while I flew around again. I saw a female 95 yuty standing next to my taming pen up north. Not impressive. Not heroic. But I tamed her anyway. Now have two female yuty at base. Nothing wrong with extra eggs. The two decent males have been gaining passive XP and now have about 22k health and 320-340 melee. I might be able to use them for the ice cave if I heal as I go. Still need find better fur armor first though. Went home and packed away babies for the night. I will let them out again today as I clean the house. Sorry for the long post.

XB CI Server Bred, bred, bread? Just bred all my time on today. Decided to slowly work on my boss squad since I need element soon. Raised and imprinted 3 tropical wyverns and 2 blood wyvern. Hatched more giga eggs, got a super blue mutation to go over my current blue mutations (melee too) and finished imprinting the giga from the other day. Now ive got 6 boss wyverns, 3 imprinted gigas (plus 3 trash ones ill use as fodder for OSD) and im slowly getting my squads together for Gamma wyvern and some OSDs / veins for extinction. Oh, also tamed a 270 event orange daedon, figured before the event ends i should get some new colours. It used up all my kibble so took a bunch of excess wyvern eggs and made more extraordinary kibble aswell. Other than that it was just waiting around for imprints. This weekend I'll probably try my first OSD in a while.

XB CI Server Mostly did breeding yesterday. My male giga was grown when I logged in, along with my wyverns so I went to work breeding. Gathered 8 giga eggs and let them sit while I did stuff for a few hours. Hatched a bunch of tropical eggs, got all my stats into matching m/f and imprinted another. Did a bunch of base stuff then my giga eggs hatched. Got the mating pair I was desiring and also got a decent one for imprinting. Put an imprint on it then went about transferring stuff to Extinction. Logged in extinction, put all my metal, poly etc into storage that I brought over to make my replicator. Added a crafting area built around the city terminal equipped with a bed for easy server hop crafting. Ill place my rep beside the bed when its done. Took my Extinction wyvern and a doed went to smack light posts for dust. Holy. Crap. Extinction is SO LAGGY. Many times I entered 'zones' that I'd have solid 10 second freezes at, multiple times. I can see why noone else built in the city. Might need to rethink this. Was smacking lamppost way up high, hit a huge lagg spike then came to... on the ground. Eff. My wyvern was at the highest platforms of the city, along with my base and all I have is my doed on me. I searched for about 45 mins for a way up and gave up, threw all my stuff into my doed then suicided to respawn in my base. My wyvern wasn't far so ran over there and just as I arrived... giant lagg spike. Came to 5hp almost dead (from 500 hp total....) from some spiders, barely survived, got my doed back and loaded everything back to my base. I'm going to need a bunch of gigas for some element veins, only got like 6 element from lamps. Cryod everything then went to bed back on Crystal isles

(Official, Valguero) Put some arrows into a gacha, bred gigas and rexes, put eggs in the hatchery, took a mana to check beaver dams real quick, but saw an alpha rex. Back to base, chibi on me, me on giga, went to kill the rex. Wanted it to be an epic fight, but rex insisted on getting stuck in Deimos' backside, so it was extremely un-epic. Good thing giga's "bite zone" is so big, that being away from the jaws didn't protect it at all! And the chibi is level 3 now. Player level 107, here I come!

Flew around for a bit this morning looking for tames. Again... nothing (shook fist toward sky, lips pursed, eyes squinted, held back some 4-letter words). The past 3 days have been a big disappointment in the taming arena. It would sure be nice to find a few more friends before we lose the 2x taming. [ thanks for rubbing your 300 yuty in my face, @d1nk ] LOL I found some eggs around the house today. Not sure if moving around the dino pairs on Sunday did the trick or if podding the rexes yesterday was the cause... but egg production was better today for sure. I will make some kibble tomorrow. Made more cabinets and lined them up on the patio. I have six cabinets full of hide and one full of pelt without even making it a conscious effort. I know the hide will get used once I start making saddles so I am just adding storage as needed right now. Not sure what to do with all the pelt yet. Made a run up the volcano for metal and obsidian. Made a vault and placed it just inside the door that leads out to my industrial forge. Cooked metal. Made more CP and Poly. Put all that into vault. During this time I was also cooking rex eggs. Group A is ready to pop. Group B has 60 minutes to go and Group C has 90 minutes left. 3 in each group. Breeding has never been my strong point. I am trying to learn and doing them in 3's seems manageable for now. ((so if any of you catch me doing something wrong, please let me know)) I have the next three days off and want to hatch them and utilize what is left of increased rates. Maybe that would be the better use of my time rather than spending all day looking for tames. IDK. I will see what Ark wants to give me in the morning. The rexes should all have around 44k health when they pop and won't need much work, if any, after imprinting and sitting in pods (gaining XP) until I need them. They should all be monkey ready fairly quickly. But... I need to do more caves first. And... find saddles... And before I do the other caves... I need (want) a couple other specialty tames first. So much to do yet. I have not even set foot in the water yet. LMAO.

XB CI Server Today I finally found out where that guy who was giving me the giga eggs to get a male was. I got on planning to run over there. First I cryod all my raises from the last few days (minus my carno reject pile) and sorted them out a bit in the fridges, made a few more carno saddles and got them all gaining exp in cryo. Was gearing up to head out and noticed I was a tad low on poly and out of honey (my fridge for all my indy cooker stuff somehow lost power and died ?) Fixed that then went to the honey cave with my new dire bear saddle. Simple, kill a butt load of bees then keep harvesting my honey. Somehow I stepped too close or aggrod a bear, no worries.. mine was a 280t after all with a decent saddle. Mid kill 7 more bears came around the corner and I kited them all to a spot I could kill them, then more came! I lost confidence real quick with the level 200-300 bears smacking me down. Managed to get a few stuck behind a hive and killed the rest. 4 left, they got to me and were smacking 250+ a hit. My bear that had 10k hp was down to 2k. Killed two then the last two my bear died. Killed one on its death hit then I jumped off, used my glider suit to get behind the bear, ate a custom food i made then pummeled the bear with my sword. He was a tough bugger and i survived with 20hp. Grabbed the loot from my bears corpse and got out of there. Got to buddies base on the other side of the map, grabbed my eggs and flew home. As I roll up I notice a real nice Yuty, event red body, black stripe and orange crest. Level 300! Max level. Spent the next 1.5h trying to coax it to my taming pen not even 2 renders away, used 100 rare flowers even. Thing had major ADD. Got it knocked out and tamed, great melee and decent other stats. Afterwards the guy i helped the other day, who lives near the tropical wyverns, i told if he tames a nice male high level he can breed it with my female..well it only took a day and he's over wanting to breed. Turns out he caught a few including a nice mating pair. I got a couple eggs off him.and he gave me a tamed male. He didn't realize I guess but the male has 1690 stam! Highest on our server by far. Closest high wyvern stam is 1500 range. I mated the male with my female and after popping eggs I found out my female has 511 base melee! Another server high (my bloods have 1450 stam 450 melee for reference and they're on par with server standards) Popped a bunch of eggs trying to get mates to combine all the melee stam and hp. My giga eggs popped, forgot about them honestly. I figured I'd get the same gigas everyone uses but it turns out buddy gave me a few lower ones (no problem I can mate em) BUT they're full on blue which is kinda cool. Let the giga get out of baby phase, made sure troughs were all topped off and extra just incase and logged for the night. Got lots of wyvern and giga breeding to do next time

How about quit stealing peoples money and upgrade this laggy peice of poop game...n fix all the problems...180k n cant even upgrade servers fukn rip off

A lot of people play and love ATLAS. They just aren't spoiled complainers 😆 I'm excited to hear what's coming. I always love what WC has. All your true fans are playing not complaining.
