I think it is because like 4 of them (sometimes many more) will spawn on top of one another and it makes it hard to tame queens because she gets stuck and can't be accessed to tame. Varlonec
The bug is that after 2-3 months of the server. There are about 200 of them in each other. Because of that, when approaching the coniferous forest, all players start to lag and honey and queens do not breathe in them.
F3n3K
take a gigano and clear each by one. It's not a bug, you do not know the game well enough..

You can always grapple or use climbing picks to go near the hive and feed the stuck queen there. Easy tame.

MichaelRichards
I thought this thread was gonna be about other more quasi serious bugs with tamed bees
Turner92
How you get the honey from the hive, I break it but I do not see that it releases any honey?
ClapTrac
Hello, to receive honey from a bee hive you must’in break it. You have to check inside the inventory of the beehive, upon doing so you will get attacked by a swarm, whilst inside the inventory of the beehive, you can grab actual honey. Then run away cause the swarm will attack for 10 seconds.

It will still be stuck in the hive so you can just nap it from there.
Luewen
Use bear and you can get the honey without bee swarm attacking you.

I think she would shoot out minions before I could get close enough (zip lines arent that fast and they shoot them out before I run up to them!) Volunteer Moderator invincibleqc Posted March 11, 2019 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted March 11, 2019 You could simply set an auto-wipe weekly and your problem would be solved.

Your solution does not work on Official servers since there are NO Admins to do such a process.

Volunteer Moderator invincibleqc Posted March 12, 2019 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted March 12, 2019 1 minute ago, d1nk said: Really? Didnt know that! Is it a certain day / time they do it? There is no exact day, as it depends of the server up-time, lags, etc.. Every wipe there is a timestamp stored that is then compared with the current time and if the elapsed time is greater than interval. This was added in the following update: On 3/27/2017 at 10:50 AM, Jatheish said: v265.0 - New Server Option: Force Respawn of Wild Dinos on Server Restart! Enabled by default on official servers, this will force weekly respawns of dinos on all servers to prevent certain dino types (like the Basilo and Spino) from becoming depopulated on long running servers. (?ServerAutoForceRespawnWildDinosInterval=SECONDS).
