  1. In this edition of the Community Crunch, we’ll be giving you more details on the upcoming TLC 3 patch and taking a look at some amazing community art. TLC 3 Update Excitement is ramping up and we're anxious to share more details on the creature improvements we've been working on. In addition to the creature upgrades we'll been sharing, there's more polish, balance, and quality of life updates in store for the upcoming TLC patch. Woolly Mammoth Recently we gave you a peek at the visual upgrades of the Woolly Mammoth but it’s abilities have also seen an upgrade. The Mammoth comes marching in with new attacks and a buff that’s enabled by war drums. We have a feeling you will like the sound of that! New Abilities War Drum Saddle and Buff 1 additional passenger seat on a saddle that comes equipped with a war drum that must be played to maintain an AoE buff that improves stamina regen and makes them immune to fear. New Attacks Tusk Sweep Sweeps tusks left or right to gather and harvest thatch Trunk Trumpet Emits a trunk roar that does an AOE debuff to all enemies within range Foot Stomp Mammoth rears up and then puts all of its weight into a forward “slam” with its front legs to directionally knock back enemies and gather wood Trunk Grab Similar to the Karkinos’s grab, it is able to grab, hold, and release smaller targets Stegosaurus Primarily known as a harvester, the Stegosaurus will be seeing visual upgrades and an expanded toolset that makes it hard to resist. New Abilities Backplate Modes Backplate passive buff and can switch between three modes. Different modes will be indicated visually Hardened Plated: Applies a damage reduction buff and prevents riders from being dismounted by enemies; Wood harvesting benefit Heavy Plate Mode: Applies a slow when attacking with the basic tail whip; Thatch harvesting benefit Sharpened Plate Mode: Applies an armor penetration effect when attacking with the tail whip. Also useful for harvesting berries New Attacks Impaling Tail Whip Able to impale and immobilize players and smaller creatures EVO Event Survivors on all platforms will be receiving a special Evolution Event perk this weekend! 2. Amazing! 2 useless creatures get TLC while quetzal, bronto and a shark cry in the corner together. Can't wait!

  3. I wonder if this TLC patch will also update the models on the stego's corrupted, tek, aberrant and genesis counterpart. I sure do hope so though. 😀

  4. Man I can sum up this crunch with 1 word........NNNIIIIICCCCCEEEEEEE!!!!! The stegos are a decent start out tame and to be honest I didn’t even think about the stego when thinking of TLCs! I hope this won’t be the last TLC, there are definitely some other dinos that are in desperate need of it. The mammoth’s new abilities are gonna be awesome! I can’t wait to see what my holiday event mammoths look like after the TLC. I know you guys killed it on the argentavis a couple years back, the color regions were far better than the originals! If there is another TLC (which I HOPE there is) the megalodon, quetz and probably bronto deserve it. It would be awesome if the quetz got a soaring ability, the Meg a jumping ability (kinda like great whites do) and the bronto maybe a complete remake into a brachiosaurus lol. This is awesome Wildcard!! Keep it coming!

  5. Mammoth sounds awesome but Stego seems wasteful. They already had a strong role in both PvP and PvE. This leaves the Megalodon as useless as ever, the Quetzal trumped as a farmer enhancement by the Argy, Karkinos, and Hovercraft, and the Bronto a distant memory in PvP and the same berry gatherer in PvE. That's first take, however. Hopefully I am wrong and the Stego does expand its capabilities for both game modes.

  7. (Official, Valguero) Did a big meatrun, unpodded Deimos, Sapphire and the nameless male baby tek rex that has my current best health and melee (9900.1 health, 372.8 melee, to be exact), raised them a bit, then re-podded Sapphire and tek rex leaving only Deimos as he can survive without supervision AND had 6 whole hours to next imprint, logged out and logged on with my side character on- -(Official, Crystal Isles) Got some fungal wood, then went to the Eldritch Isle, gathered some gems, tamed a wild level 100 female featherlight, uploaded gems, wood and bird, tamed a wild level 20 male one, uploaded him too, returned to the base, took Berryhorse and uploaded her as well - I can tame a parasaur for berries, and Berryhorse is too high level for my side character to have anyway since all the good stuff belongs on the main base, not anywhere else! And back on (Official, Valguero), I retrieved all the stuff, birds and the iguanodon too, gonna breed the featherlights once the female is ready for that, not much though - they're all glowy and detailed, if I keep too many things are bound to get laggy and I don't want that. So just gonna try for pretty mutations and kill off anything else. Did another meatrun just to keep things safe, unpodded Sapphire and tek rex, grabbed my best pick and went to get some crystals. Got three stacks, because unfortunately the very best place to get them in all the White Cliffs was already picked clean so I had no choice but to gt them from the smaller ones.

  8. SP, Island So I took DodoRaptor’s advice and went to herb island to look for basilos. I happen to have an outpost there already which made things more comfortable.I’ve seen tons of the whales, but all very low levels. I keep clearing the spawns but still only low levels replace them. Oh well! I’m confident I’ll find a good one soon. The process is also good for levelling my bary, which will be a caving tame once it’s bit stronger. At night I’ve just been upgrading the outpost and putting all the day’s loot into my argent along with any broken scuba tanks. the search continues!

  9. Well, we were "Trapped" in the simulation, and when we escaped we awoke in the "Colony ship". We still have no idea where it's going. A Rockwell tentacle appears out of the room we were in prior to equipping the official-looking Tek Suit. We theorize that this could either be us giving Rockwell a teleportation "opportunity" by exiting the simulation, OR perhaps it could have been the survivor that got corrupted. This would make sense, as Rockwell is building an army (Most likely in AND out of the sim- but we dunno about outside of the sim) And you've made a mistake, us theorists are at LEAST 97% sure that this happens after Extinction. (Via reading previous notes and new notes.) Also, Mei Yin was on Earth in Extinction, and the credits claim that she will return in Part Two. Pluss the fact that HLNA is literally a fragment of Helena (As a Homo Deus). In conclusion, we still dunno what's with the Colony Ship, we only have 1 or 2 ideas of who the tentacle belongs to and this is definitely after Extinction it's not a matter of IF, but a matter of HOW far into the future from Extinction Genesis is.
