Xbox - Nitrado Unofficial Server - Ragnarok and Aberration First part of the evening was devoted to some house keeping on Ragnarok. Went on to make sure the troughs had been topped up and the generators were full of gas, not that it was urgent because of the rates of the server. I probably wont be on tommrow night and after that I am off on holiday for about a week. Hopped accross to Aberation, I just had to try my luck with those 175 eggs again. This run was much less productive. Managed to get about 6 more 175 eggs out of that nest, but it made me work harder for them. The nest started spawning other eggs and spent alot of the time empty. Even the 165 nest was hit or miss. The 25 and 55 drakes were apparantly still screwing with me. Eventually had to bail as my hazard suits were getting low in durability. Made it out with the 6 175s about 3 or 4 165s and a hand full of eggs between 140 and 160. Got a fridge full of high level drake eggs now, I love looking at that fridge now lol2 points

Xbox - Nitrado Unofficial Server - Aberration I spent another night in the drake trench. I am now confident enough and I now know the dirrection to jump and glide all the way from my 'diving board' in the mushroom forest all the way into the main trench without stopping half way for stamina or to allow the game to load.. What followed was possibly the best two drake egg runs I have ever had. Spent ages going through low level eggs wiping out all the drakes with the megalo squad. The level 55 and 25s still seem to be playing with me, kept picking up their eggs. Lol. Went through about 15 to 20 eggs before my luck changed. Got 4 175 eggs one after another out of the same nest. Went back to it again a 185. Went back again a 175 egg again. Am convinced theres a 175 stuck somewhere near by spawning eggs into this nest, ever time I got into that nest my shinehorn tells me there a high level closeby. Would have stayed down longer this run but had a scare when I glitched into the ground again, but I made it out again. Got the eggs back back to base before something bad happened and I rekitted. Also discovered a drake feather on my shinehorn so the little darling must have got a rock drake kill down on that run, made me laugh. Jumped back all the way to the trench. It now got a bit silly. Kept going back to the same nest, grabbing 175s. It occasionally spawned a different level egg but kept spawning 175 again and again. Also clocked another nest which seemed to spawn 165s regularly too, got a 170 out that one too. Started ignoring the nests spawning the 25 and 55s now. In one of the many waves I killed a gorgeous 175 drake a nice yellow colour, dont think it was that one spawning the eggs as the nest kept spawning 175s after I killed it but am looking forward to hatching to see whats in them. Ended up having to leave much earlier than I would like as my drake was dangerously close to being overburdened. That second run of the night netted me 1 170 egg, 5 165s and 15 175s !! Fridges are now bulging full of drake eggs. Looks like I have a few eggs now that I could transfer across to Ragnarok aswell.2 points

Xbox - Nitrado Unofficial Server - Aberration Just a quick one tonight. Just had to get back into the drake trench again, to stockpile some more eggs, so went down into the trench with my drake and assembled the megalo team again. Probably one of my favourite things to do in Ark. From swooping down to the trench, raiding the nests and climbing back out again, I love it Had two trips. First trip netted me about 10 eggs, all low levels apart from 2 145 eggs. Swear that 55 is still screwing with me but this time he has a pesky level 25 friend. The 55 even had a favourite nest too. Kept picking up level 25 and 55 eggs. Had a slight panic when I fought a wild drake 1v1 and it glitched me into thw ground. Must have registered my shinehorn underground as nameless somehow started to appear despite my shinwhorn. Got out of the ground to my releif. Went back to base and rekited. Went back in and started looting again. All low levels, started having to eat the lower levels as I was begging to run out of weight. Eventually started to get lucky with aome higher level eggs. Ended the run with 18 eggs, of which 3 were 165s, 1 160, 2 155s and a 150. Got plenty of eggs now too for basilisk taming and kibble making, fridges are beginning to burst of all the drake eggs lol.2 points

Last night was the night. Finally time to grab some Drake eggs. Started off by hatching some Mega eggs for muts. Got pink bodied oxy mutation twins and shortly after two different blue belly mutations, one dark blue and one light blue health mut. The light blue also inherited the mutated stat from prior line making him 234 hatch Messed around at base for awhild then made up a few stone structures and extra hazmat suits. Grabbed my imprinted spino and 6 megalosaurus, saddled and headed down to Drake Trench. Its been awhile since I was down here but after an hour or so finally reached the first checkpoint; A small lake area about half way down the ramp where there isnt anY rad. Set up a small spawn hut there, near a plantz. Itll also be useful for farming poly, taming featherlights and storing my megas for future drake runs. After whipping that up I made my way down. It was pretty easy going, killed a bunch of drakes enroute and when I made it to the upper shelf I couldnt find an egg in any of the nests I decided to keep climbing up and eventually found a nest with an egg, only level 100 but it will do for my first drake. The process was easy, dove to my spino with plenty of time and shredded the drakes. Left the mega crew at the outpost and headed back up. Its been a few hours now, ive already been through 3/4 of a suits durability and on my second suit at about half at this point. I left a spare suit at the outpost incase the worst should happen. On my way back up I sort of got lost, after a bit of frantic running around (and almost jumping off cliff to reaper area...) I made it back up to fertile. Got back home and crafted up an extra 12 ACs to hatch the egg, let it preincubate a bit then went to bed. Ill hatch it today!2 points

Hey Survivors! Welcome to the latest edition of the Community Crunch! Conquest PVP Servers! Today we have some exciting news to bring our PvP official players. We are introducing a new server cluster called: Conquest. In contrast to our successful 6-man tribes servers, Conquest will focus on big tribes (25=player limit per tribe) and big battles. In order to fuel this large-scale fight these servers will have 2x rates compared to other official servers (unaffected by Evolution Events). This will allow tribes to build up faster, gain experience faster, raise, breed, and tame creatures faster, allow more focus directly on battling other tribes. The servers will also be capped at 100 players per server instead of 70. Server transfers will be enabled between servers within the cluster. There will be 36 servers total within the cluster, offering all map types to play on. This batch of Conquest servers will provide a fertile grounds for big tribes to come and play! The Conquest servers will be spun up and available for PC players on September 28. We'll be monitoring the clusters success on PC and then evaluate bringing them to console at a later date. We encourage PvP players to check these new servers out on Friday! ARK Digest 54! Thank you for all of your questions, Survivors! We're excited to be bringing back the ARK Digest as it's been quite awhile since we had one. Conquest servers are a bad idea. Large scale PvP is basically what Official PvP is and you're taking players out of that pool yet again, contributing to the perception that the game is dead. Fragmenting your playerbase is generally a bad business decision, and the main deterrent to playing on Official is server lag so having permanent 2x servers with 100 slots isn't going to help that at all. You're better off shifting your attempts to solving the problems that cause players to not want to play Official such as improving server performance, disconnecting, etc if large scale battles is your goal. With these servers you're going to split the playerbase, making both clusters worse off overall.1 point

We had a busy weekend raising 8 Rexes, 4 Tek Raptors and 7 Argys - we hatched the Argys by mistake as we forgot we were incubating them. It happened just as we were going to log off so it was a long night. We also tamed a UNICORN that I was luckily enough to spot whilst we were regaining stamina on our Argies just North of Redwood after a Obsi/ Crystal metal run - we farmed about 40k ingots , plus loads of crystal and obsidian and its all going into our new roof. I cant help but look up and see what could have been my new Giga ? The tribe leader was so thrilled with the Unicorn that he immediately borrowed another from another server so we can breed them. All in all a good weekend.1 point

I realized I didnt write up my story from last Sunday.. I had to take some time away from the xbox this week, played too much last weekend haha. Last Sunday: Just muddled around the base breeding shinehorns trying to get an all black one. Spent a bit of time with Saltire and we traded some element from his Rag to my Aberration. I constantly make element on Ab. I have 2 charge nodes and a gas node in my base that I constantly rotate between, all without being to the Red Zone yet on this play! I always hop off and grab the red roll rat gems when im around the forest areas After the trade I made my second Transmitter for Rag then a second Industrial forge to throw in my metal base on Ab. Logged off early and havent been on since, getting some time in tonight but probably not too much.1 point

PS4 - Nitrado server - Ragnarok With the Football season upon us, and fall outdoor weather starting to arrive, I haven't played as much lately. Knowing that I will play even less during October and November, I spent a lot of time this past weekend transferring dinos from the Nitrado server, to my Single player game. I also built a large egg barn on my SP Rag map. and got a lot of the dinos set up for egg production. Moved about 10 Tek Stegos, some Quetzs, event colored high level Carnos, Dire Bears and Sloths. I still have a lot of dinos left on the Nitrado server, and will transfer over most of my 20 something Pteras and Griffins. I've had a really bad run of Griffins lately, with all but one of the event colored (red or green) being incredibly low levels. I did get a level 135 green Griffin on Saturday, and was happy about that. My plan is to transfer over any dinos of value, as I'm afraid of them starving to death while I'm away for too long. I will probably only leave vanilla colored 1 Anky, 1 Doed, a couple Argies, Pteras and Rexs. I am frustrated however, as once again while downloading dinos from the transmitter, I have had dinos disappear, including a level 150 All black Yuty female. Grrrrrrrr0 points

on 3 different server, got booted twice once from 2 and somehow died from a raptor in the middle of my base on the 3rd one.? you figure that one out. so i decided that was enough for today.0 points

I put to sleep a castoroides 150 with 32 pt in melee, then it got hit by a terror bird, lost taming effectiveness, so I let it wake up, put it back to sleep, but it somehow started with a low taming effectiveness, so I left ark for a while . when I came back it was gone. Then I put to sleep a direbear 150, by the time I came back with some kibble, a carno was eating it. Then I pretty much did nothing useful. Yay.0 points
