Slivka
Kind of weird to have a forest wyvern you can't tame, along with corrupted wyverns and rockdrakes only to have no trench. I'm disappointed
JackONeill
That strikes me as odd, too. I am on xbox so I did not know that.
AngrySaltire
Yeah I was thinking the same. Whats even more surprising is (dont quote me on this) apparantly the Managarmr is just a tame and can breed. Was convinced it was going to be a case with nicking its eggs like the wyverns and drakes. TINYMAN
There are very wyvern like creatures in the snow dome biome. The magnymars, or however you call them; it is fairly odd though because there can't be corrupted wyverns w/o a trench.
ZombiePlague
I’m actually really mad I was looking forward to this map being the first map with wyverns and rock drakes but now you can’t tame them..... it’s a bait and switch and I feel cheated the wiki said there would be on the map but oh no eggs so sol

Slivka
The Managrandma thing? When SE Came out a new wyvern model came with it. When AB came out a drake model came with it. When Extinction came out it brought the same rock drake model and mechanics, just recycled.

Basically a featherless rock drake by the look of it. https://ark.gamepedia.com/Managarmr Edit: I think I got the wrong end of the stick with that comment
Zuesneith
Yeah it is weird. They made it seem like we would be able to get eggs for them when asked if wyverns and drakes would be on the map.

You will clearly feel the difference. Its handling is very different. A little tip: They can't glide nor fly, only dash and hover. Also can't cling to walls, but is easily the fastest mount ever since flyer nerf.
Woodsman
the managarmr flys like a jet pack but it has the indirect attack that should have been given to the ice wyvern being breedible should be a benefit though
iAmE
Im kind of glad they didn't. The last two expacs recycled the mechanic and it was always pretty buggy on release (Eggs falling through the nests during both expacs). Not to mention that Wyverns and Rock Drakes both trivialize PvE to certain degrees not otherwise afforded. Ranged breath weapons and invis both cause fairly large potential for exploits.
