Its model is shipped with the game since v327.10 (used by the Chibi, etc.).

Edit: I just skimmed at responses, I didn't know it could be a tester. but still doesn't answer if there's another reason behind it

Don't skim the responses read each one properly. You'll see where it's come from because the model is already in the game. Nothing to do with testers.

Astrodelphis looks like a mutated Beluga Whale, not a dolphin. They're definitely pushing for aerial combat more since the introduction of Crystal Isles. Though I would have preferred it more if they re-designed/balanced underwater combat, creatures and biomes that are more dino focused. Saying that...I wonder if the Astrodelphis could also be used underwater. That would have been a welcome surprise

A water/air mount would be absolutely flipping amazing.

UFOs can do it so why not space whales ?
