Maybe the stick-men are spelling something with their bodies? But the creatures are obviously ridding humans. Perhaps it's that 'Play as the Dino' mode folks have been clamoring for?

I feel like that's a hint... So I'm going with a new 'Be the Dino' mode or it's part of the lore and we're going to be encountering dino-worshiping cave people. I'm way more down with the latter.
