Leedsichthys sink parked boats?

Hi everyone.

Just a quick question, I'm planning on making myself a nice metal boat with all the trimmings, but can a Leedsichthys sink these when they are unmanned and parked up at my dock?

Don't know if it makes a difference but I'm on Xbox.

Can and will unless you park it inland.

I have these little dummie dumb-heads turned off on my cluster. They will hit you, but they do 0 damage... but most clusters and on official they will wreck you.

Yes, on official they will happily take out a parked boat.

What would be nice is if the buggers could get down some rivers on PvE servers as there seems to be so many just lying about

Good news is on rag, they have an incredibly low spawn rate, last time i saw one was before the map was done

i don't think they spawn on rag anymore. i think the spawns were removed by the map maker. i could be wrong though.

If you park your boat in shallow water you will be fine, i.e in a river, or along the shore.

Leeds just needs to be taken out of the game altogether.

leeds removed from rag already, Auto Turrets SHRED leeds though and they work underwater but the power source needs to be out of water, you can just setup a small defensive zone in the water and have an endless supply of prime fish meat, also they hit in an aoe but dont swim through buildings, so you can technically pen off a portion and have your boat inside and watch the leeds just stare at it from outside the pen, has to be a large pen though as they have a huge aoe and will still try to swing at it

@WaightZer @Gdude45678 @TINYMAN Can any of you really make the case that a fish that serves no more purpose since raft demo timers were put in be left in the game when it literally breaks game mechanics due to lazy coding to do nothing more than grief players who are starting out?

There are tons of ways to defend against them. Water dinos, turrets, shallow water, etc. Leeds make the deep water dangerous which was something that was needed. Before it was too easy to have a raft base that couldn't be touched. Now you need to think of defending it just like any other base.
