All eight vaults demolished but strangely when I did there seemed to be other vaults stacked within the first. Each required demolishing 3 times until only 2 drop bags remained from each. Who ever left these vaults hoarded every weapon type from mainly mc quality down to primitive. Also the same with armour, but the greatest prize for me was the huge amount of saddles and saddle bps. I have spent hours ferrying gasbag loads back to my to my base. I am still sifting through my reward now. All in all a great Ark day

Halloween is my fave event But I'm disappointed for just one little issue: the dermis of the dodorex, dodowyvern and their zombie minions aren't permanent. I'd really like to have them forever because last time I got the dodorex dermis, it suddenly disappeared when you removed the halloween event. Is there a way to keep the model for the taxidermy? It's a pity, really

I left a base like that once, 5-10 vaults all labled "Asc BPs, Tek, Ele..." Each with a single fiber in them. I wish you better luck.

Xbox one Island official. Found a group of 8 vaults 10 days ago, obviously the result of an auto decayed base. I decided to build a structure around them to 'protect them' from the environment. The timer runs out in 12 hrs time. It's like Christmas eve waiting to what gifts I will receive from the Ark gods tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Adding with the same but other server, Valguero 512 EU has gone from bad to worse with every patched released since Genesis 1 DLC (truth to be told it was bad before but I'll be nice). Currently we get disconnected at random times, not so fun if you are out flying or down swimming. The save lag has increased and takes longer times and now we got a problem that some people just cant connect to the server at all, we've getting "connection timed out". Do I feel hyped about the Fear event, no, not really, do I feel hyped about the TLC, not, will most likely just add more buggs and problems (its how its been since I started to play this game, with each DLC and patch, more problems are added or showing up). The Extra Life event, on the same day as the TLC and these added connection problems... wow, I get a feeling that you Wild Card are doing all you can to make people leave this game and never EVER buy anything your studio releases again. Your community managers are not doing their job in my opinion, to me, they are from my experience, the worst I've encountered since I started with online gaming, back when Star Wars Galaxies was new. The question is if its their lack of knowledge or if they are under orders not to respond to the problems that EVERYONE is aware is going on. Sadly, the only way to get a stable and somewhat good experience of ARK is by single player/local hosting or renting a private server. The official servers is as far as I can tell from my experience 2,700 hrs in, totally crap. I love the game, dont get me wrong but these server and connection problems are just killing it for me I am sorry to say. I hope that stuff get fixed but sadly, my exerience this far of WC is that it most likely will not get much better than it is now.

Random thought - what of in the days leading up to the Extra Life event there's another random countdown that plays the GP2 trailer when it's finished? Like what they did with GP1.

@ArkTheoryApprentice Where is this moon you keep talking about? I checked both teasers, no shattered object. If you referring to the land see in the teaser take a second look. It’s edges make a ring shape which we know to be the shape of the colony ship. Meaning it’s almost certain that that isn’t a racetrack or a shattered moon but rather the colony ship.

I actually had a question about the oceans of Ark. More of a general question I suppose. I was watching the Atlas creature size comparison video on youtube and was amazed at some of the creatures and their overall design. Would Wildcard ever consider making a map with a larger use of the ocean to maybe even include more aquatic life maybe even importing some of their creations from Atlas over into Ark? The Shark.. Amazing. And the use of the whales would be fairly amazing. More variety in the oceans would really be a pleasant update.

yeah that, as well as the bottom right corner of the first poster and the lower part of the A in this new poster all give me ocean kind of vibes, like coral or something in the deep ocean.

Sorry to be kinda pushy with it but after looking at what I see as the evidence in the two posters I am dead set on my two main theories: 1. Element Homeworld/Pure Element 2. Human Colonies(It is called the colony ship after all.)

SP, The island I got so much done yesterday... wow. I’m not even sure where to start! I think last time I posted I was starting my volcano outpost. It took me a lot of grinding but I finally went from a tiny wooden shack to a beautiful stone and greenhouse hangout. I crafted my first ever industrial forge, and that’s where it lives. The greenhouse panels allow for a wicked view of the whole map and makes hanging out at the volcano pretty enjoyable. After bringing back all my building dinos to my main base in Hidden Lake, I went about getting stuff together for an industrial cooker. I got that thing crafted up and now I can make kibble super fast, it’s so nice!! Not to mention, I had lots of fun trying to get that thing irrigated 😅. After that I went and got my first ever achatina. well actually, got 2. Very excited to have cementing paste on demand. my to-do list for my next login consists of lots of taming and getting ready for the next cave!

And still no fix for Master Controller not dropping his flag, or tek trikes being unable to transfer off Genesis

Notice that at the top of the teaser there... HOLY SH*T. I THINK I'M RIGHT! There have been past theories made by me about going to the moon in ARK, and this is the "... nail in the proverbial coffin." for me. At the top we can see a planet dotted with red and purple. The purple is most obviously element corruption. What planet do we see element corruption on? Well, Earth. And for the mass amounts of red? Well then, you may ask, what about the land that WE the PLAYER are standing on? The moon. The shattered moon, similar to the one we had experienced in the Genesis Simulation. I hardly find it to be a coincidence that shattered moons orbiting an obscured planet (Obscured for obvious reasons) keep popping up. A destroyed moon back on Extinction, a destroyed moon in the Genesis Simulation, and another floating, shattered space-rock bit shown in a teaser for Genesis Part 2. But wait... Something is off here. What we see in the teaser is... A race track? What? It looks exactly like the terrain on the moon, but it extends into the sky?
