I like chitin cause its cheap and has decent armor value.. But i really dislike how the chitin color bleeds through when dyed with paint.. Ghillie also bleeds through the dye 

 

My favorite though would be desert gear, for aesthetics.

If im Going for function i combine Fur Flak and Desert with various pieces depending on the weather..

I wear ghillie mostly, and that's mostly so I don't have to remember to change armor before stuffing flowers in the bee hive. Otherwise, I usually forget and end up getting bee-mobbed. But when I'm heading anywhere dangerous, I do a mix like Phyrist mentioned, but use ghillie instead of desert.

I always have pumped fortitude for many reasons, ill usually wear ghillie chest, helm, legs with fur gloves and flak boots. Looks kind of silly but works for every biome (50 fortitude, even just snowflake in murder snow)

I like to wear flak most of the time, and throw on bits of fur or cloth if I get too hot or too cold.

Hide. I am a grinder so hide goes well with my very high fortitude

Depends on the activity we are doing.. Generally a mix between ghillie and flak armor

i mostly like harvesting i play on rag and with the new argie i can repair it and some other stuff

I wear some MC riot And asc that I get from deep sea crates in the desert on rag then I usually wear tek boots for the fall damage if Ive managed to obtain some.

Depend of what we do, since the beginning of the game i'm naked and hides when i was a beginner, when fighting using flak armor
