  1. I like reading these its neat seeing how differently different people react when poop-hits-the-fan Last night, TheIsland single player, pc steam: casually playing from lvl1 for a week or two by this point, ive only got a stone building and minimal tames (im not the type of person to hoard dinos when im not using them) iguanadon(dead now), raptor, otter, argy.. im lvl 66 now and saw that i had a bronto saddle unlocked.. Thought to myself.. "Yenno brontos are sooo big.. Id almost rather a smaller faster dino to gather berries.." So i searched the surrounding area of my base and found some trikes paracers and turtles.. I decided "what the heck ill tame a bronto anyways.." Started looking for high lvl but found nothing over lvl 12 .. 3x lvl 8s.. Dissapointed in not finding a highlevel i decided "well.. Im not gonna be raiding or anything on singleplayer so maybe a low lvl wouldnt be so bad for just harvesting berries.." Ambushed by midsized raptor pack on my iguanadon, dismounted me, bolas and sword i killed them all with only 50hp left on my iguannadon.. Decide to go on foot against the bronto.. Kiting it a little ways away from my near dead tame..Mid tranqing the brontos tailswipe nicked my iguanadon and it died.. Tamed the lvl 12 for temporary narcoberry gathering.. 1 tailswipe and i realized i may not need a high level at all my lvl 20 bronto will probably get me all the narcotics i need. Used bronto to get me enough narcs and tranqs to tame a lvl 60 thyla before i went to bed.. Ironically thyla tame was easy as pie no issues, fly to redwoods with argy, dismount when found one, place bear traps, agro thyla on foot into beartrap, tranq, ko, tame, ride thyla home with argy following. kinda wierd the bronto gave me more issues than the thyla especially in the redwoods with so many aggressive threats..
  2. Yesterday i tamed a lvl150 basilisk with a single rockdrake egg (dunno if it matters 10x taming) Had extra low lvl from the previous egg run.. Thought hey ill test and see what the taming progress will be like with a drake egg... (Lvl96)... Dropped it on the ground.. Ran a little further out and basilisk ate the egg BOOM instant tame
  3. I dont have the temperature info available... But i used 32x ACs
  4. I also had transferring enabled for the first few days.. Because eggs were the problem before they patched it.. No point in restricting it.. Then i held a vote when the eggs were patched and my player base unanimously voted (8/8 players low pop yes but we arent all buddies either just trying to survive) to disable incoming vanilla dinos.. Aberration is a new play style and everyone on my server thought the same way that theres a mindset "why change and learn new ways of doing things when there is the option for me to continue do what im comfortable with and used to doing." So people wanted the challenge... Though i recognise not everyones the same way... And those people should find an unofficial aberration server where importing vanillas are supported if you simply cant let go of your fliers.. (Edit) going back to your singleplayer.. You can spawn the flyingdinos in and tame them normally.. Aberration doesnt have the spawn points at all. You could also go into the gus.ini and add lines of code swapping out the aberration dinos for the flying vanilla dinos you want to tame on singleplayer. Back to the OP.. (Im at work right now) so yesterday i practiced drake egg getting with picks gliders and hazSuits... Explored a bit more of the blue area and set up a zipline system to get easy gems for my hazsuits
