I'm guessing it's some sort of herbivore or omnivore-based dinosaur or similar proto-reptile. (There WERE reptiles that had fur, which were called cynodonts).

Why ARK why? Why would we want another  dino?

I would agree that it might be part lotosaurus but the fact that this creature has humps not a sail an looks to either be getting its humps milked or farmed in which case id say cementing paste while its unconscious or some other thing maybe blood or those spikes on its back either way it looks like its been farmed for something.

Or its just getting a wash.

It's pretty obivious it's a anklosaur and a dimetradon.

I bet it will live in the desert and since they have already been working on the desert biome for a longer period of time I think we can prepare ourselves during the next month(s)  

If this is a hint to a new dessert biome hopefully this and

  this will be released as a package.

My guess is lotosaurus which was a prosauropod dino that had a hump like that.

Looks like a shocked anky with back problems. Bring on the "fall about laughing dino brigade" Geeeez, maybe it can carry my useless fishing rods. Like remember when we didn't know where to get wood until we got dams. So now we can catch coel and salmon. Can't wait til they introduce some other useless item to get cementing paste.

I think it's a lotosaurus, or maybe even an edaphosaurus with the way ark is, but I'm casting my vote in as lotosaurus.

If you look at the picture in the bottom right it looks like the creature is lying down in water with some barrels next to it. This creature might possible store it. Whatever it is, it looks cool. Super hyped for Pelagornis next month and I thing Allosaurus will be an interesting addition to the Ark.

It could be a lotosaurus but im not convinced anyone has guessed it yet. when you click on the link from the home page it says "Introducing everyones favourite ???? the ????" it normally read "introdicing everyones favourite dinosaur, the blank!" why not say its a dinosaur? maybe it isnt one....

can you quote where about the ark 2? the desert i already know

People keep saying Lotosaurus which it may very well be, but then why wouldn't it just be a normal dossier? I think its something special, kind of like that other unknown dossier with the thing with the scales that looks like a pangolin.

Also in the left you can see teeth like formations which the Wikipedia says the lotosaur was toothless

You get a hybrid by breeding two different animals which you cant do in ark an will never be able to random mutations come from inbreeding because peoplebreed MnF get a baby then breed it with its mum or dad again with the random mutations it will force people to build a family tree like your supposed too if you want to breed high level dinos

Well this looks rather interesting. Cannot guess the name, but it may have something to do with the mutations.

Secondly, in the first image, we can see 2 strange plant-thingies that look like cactus, so maybe it will live in the new desert biome. Also, in the bottom right image we can see that it is knocked out and there are a few buckets of...narcotics next to the man? Maybe this thing produces narcotics while knocked down? Or maybe they are not narcs, but stimulants, so maybe this thing is kept unconscious with stims instead of narcs?
