Just tamed my first Rex, took me about 3 hrs to find a fairly good leveled one, which was 135. Only, his stats wasn't as good. RIP

(Day 1)I started a new world on the island single player, got to unlocking the smithy and refining forge, Died only one taming a trike. Tamed a trike, dimorphadon, raptor and para, made a Mortar and pestle and moved all my stuff on a raft, working for smithy next! All in about an hour with double/half rate and 6x times taming.

How can you assume that most ark players are white? I am an african american SERVER OWNER been playing since beta. The fact that you think this is an excuse only further shows the DEPTH of this problem. You retards are comparing a game which is not cancelled but postponed to human life. That is some small minded and selfish poop. I tried to let it roll off my back but you guys here...you guys here are a real disappointment! I can't wait until it's your brother, sister, mother or father getting choked out or killed and it be acceptable. So all you that are outraged because a company showed compasion over profit go raptor yourselves or better yet come say that in my neighborhood you insensitive pricks. Oh and I probably have more degrees then you before you speak on intellegence, and most likely a better job. YOU are the reason!!!!!!

Everyone saying that this is a BS excuse... please try to exercise a modicum of empathy. Heck, even sympathy would be a breath of fresh air. I understand the frustration with yet another delay, but that's no reason to belittle the reason that Wildcard says they're holding off. Whether they're telling the truth or not, other game companies are doing the same thing, and the situation really does call for it. On top of that, COVID is still a thing. I would not be surprised if many WC employees/developers are working from home right now. Does that excuse them not planning ahead better? Maybe (depends how patient you are). Does it mean we should ignore the fact that many other countries around the world have joined the U.S. in protesting what's happened (for those claiming that the rest of the world's release date should have nothing to do with the problems in the U.S.)? No, absolutely not. There's a lot of ARK already: The Isle, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Ragnarok, The Center, Valguero, plus any other content available to those not restricted to console. Transfer some dinos out of your favorite map and start fresh or something. There are a lot of ways to exercise patience.

Today a few hours of gathering materials to build Behemoth gates in my fortress. Starting plans to tame bigger Dinos like Rexes and Allosauruses now since I really want powerful Dinos in my arsenal. After that, I haven't decided yet.

Today I checked around the base for any good allos to tame (kinda want to start breeding them again, but gotta get a new clean male first, because the old one is pretty in the looks, but not in the stats and is, in fact, a mess of oxygen mutations and other unnecessary stuff), didn't find any. Found a good color tek rex, but it was male and only level 74, so I killed it. Fed the dinos. Replaced the auto-decayed leash on the argy perch (it's just a cliff, but my argies are perched there, so it's an argy perch). Looked sadly at the place where my hive stood before it auto-decayed, and decided to not get a new one because I don't really use honey anyway - everything I'm interested in can be tamed with honeyless kibbles.

The only update that has ever been released on time, was scorched earth. Since then, or before then, I don't think a single Ark update has ever been released on the day WC said it would be. It's nice that video games companies are showing support, but they're not actually doing anything besides postponing an update for no reason. If they're going to delay it, and say that their devs are going to take part in protests and stuff, I'd fully understand. But most companies think they're stopping racism just by postponing an update.

You know if ur foong to complain about tbe delay of the new map. Just quit playing ark. A dam video game is not worth risking someones life over because u think its there fault. When its probably not. Remember one thing greed. Does rule the world but it also have its down falls and it always kills u in the end

I stand in solidarity with black people. Ark players are primarily white and it's about time we experience some dissapointments, setbacks and letdowns so we can feel the pain experienced by African Americans. I support the event/new map being postponed until racial disparity is 100% solved in the US and abroad. Black Lives Matter
