I have a very important question! Will Ark Ascended early access reset the severs again, when the full release is ready to launch? That was the story with Survival Evolved back in the days, when it got out of early access.

I’m not really sure it would matter. What they said vs what they did with the servers in 2017 were two very different things.

I still remember reporting outage reports for gen 2 crashing / roll back, constantly happening for hours on official servers, even when the genesis pass first came out! Even though ...

[...]

Genesis is a PAID 29.99, currently on sale 14.99 which honestly a slap in the face, and should have been refunded due to how poorly it was made without any support or updates fixing critical bugs and glitches.

Have waited so long for much needed crash + bug fixes for ark genesis and main game / other DLCS, The fact that you guys are so greedy to continue try and charge us is disgusting. This is much needed upgrade that is necessity for smooth ark game play. That paying customers have been WAITING FOR !!!!!

[...]

From a company stand point, I understand you guy's need money, but you guys could have easily come out with an amazing ASA product, giving it out for free like promised, once we see the hard work and are excited from clean feel and bug fixed product, introduce custom made DLC's that we would all be willing to pay for.

I don't know about you, but I for sure will not be spending a single cent on premium mods because it pisses me off that all they think off is how they can get more money out of it when mods are not even their work while we are past several announced ARK2 release dates and literally have NOTHING now, no ARK2 (was it completely scrapped btw or what is going on with it?), no ASA in time, no future for A:SE official servers. All we have are some ridiculous "here is a texture of how a tree or this and that will look like" images and the promise that we will have to pay again to continue playing ARK, while you can bet that there will be total pillar spam everywhere once and if any ASA server launches at all just to do it all again. This all looks more and more like one of those "crowd-founded fancy community made MMO" scams to me that feed off giving people some nostalgia vibes.

And I also had my share in reporting Gen2 issue, especially when people started blocking the boss terminal for weeks on an official server and all I got was a "it is a deprecated legacy server" answer for a - by that time - 1 year old Gen2 server from a paid DLC instead of some admin just logging in and removing the effing dinos from the plattform.

The big issue I have is they undeniable fact that this is not a new game - it is lipstick on the game that most of us do indeed still play.

The big "sell" that Wildcard is trying to make - this remastered game is gonna be worth a lot of our $, and it will be significantly better to play than the (mostly) functional game that is already out there. Nowhere have they made any (my opinion) decent headway in making that sell.

So I personally find very little positive "vibes" to comment on.

Uh, not sure what you're saying to be honest. I was just trying to say it'd be nice if we got a note a week in advance in a community crunch that the voting would open the following week so all of us waiting to submit creatures would make sure we were ready. As many of my friends whom have posted ideas have had their creatures submitted before they could repost them the next round all because they didn't see the announcement before others decided to post their animal again (sometimes not crediting the original author from previous rounds). So we just thought it might be nice to have more than a "oh snap, the submissions are open again!" announcement and be given a heads up that they'd be open next week. Doesn't mean that we'd all be ready the second they did open, but we might be more ready than in the past. Because it's been observed that you have to get your creature submitted in the first hours within the first day for it to be seen, often.

If that clarifies my thoughts?

I think you are responding to the wrong post here - I ain't said anything anywhere about creature submissions - it is not something that is on my radar at all .... Perhaps you meant to respond to @Noffek ??

I read your post and agree with it.  Also, this answer is about pet votes, it's like one talking about a pickaxe and the other talking about a drill xD.

And speaking of voting, I've already told you.  I don't vote in them anyway, and the crunch order turned into chaos due to voting.  Pointless posts to gain vote points.  Ok, you want to go to the forum, make a post, call it SPAM and there make Positiv for WC/SG and posts to take part in the voting.  Currently, at the top of the crunch, you have to go through all the spam to find the right answer.

If someone has reply notifications turned on, then you are also spamming using this feature on your devices.

Is it just me wondering if the game will actually be cross-platform pro, and cross play? I fell like they will take that out of their box of promises, and put it into their giant vault of broken promises. They are seriously struggling to remaster one little graphic per week anyways. Will ASA be glitcher than ASE, even though it will run on ue5? I believe it will. The only positive thing I have to say about it all, is at the the price is now doable.

It's just a question, how are WC/SG going to put multiple platforms on one server?  While Ps4 supports Orbis OS and Xbox, Steam, PC supports MS products.  How do you think merging two operating systems into one will work?  And the stability of the game in ASE was about 10% xD With such a mix of Mods, client systems, etc., it can be an explosive mix.  And you know they won't get over it in a few months as WC/SG imagined.  Expect more changes on the release date xD
