The Procoptodon looks perpetually annoyed, they're all like , as if it's thinking "Ugh, I have to carry these dorks around again? I was gonna have a Netflix marathon today, looks like that's not happening...." 

well looks like xbox players are out of luck, even if this IS in the game. servers are full again. all 399 of them.

Does anyone know when this will come to xbox

so an event for americans basically since most of the rest of the world will be sleeping at that time...that sounds pretty darn lame if I am reading it correctly which I hope I'm not.  At least make it a reward for everyone that logs in any time on January 1st. 

Where exactly will the ball drop as in cordinates?

when will you continue to produce optimization updates for the pc version of ark? and if you continue to optimize, will you optimize for all settings? I love the game but can't play steadily so i have given up. 

The New Year event is not honest to the eu players not everyone can be online at 5 in the morning to get the present. And we al payed for the game. If i would play on a US server than i can understand thats everything happen on EST but i play on a EU Server.

Could I clarify because I think there may be a mix up between pm/am. Sitting here as I am in Europe, the post was done on the 31st of December and says today at 12pm. That was about 14 hours ago and I can't see any ball in the sky. Did you mean AM as in midnight EST as in just over an hour and a half UK time. Just sitting here waiting and does the ball take 12 or 24 hours to fall - again, a bit confusing on the AM/PM interpretation.

Hi everyone. i noticed ball is a bit delayed, but what about Procoptodon? Because on my server (official) nobody has found any.Is it rare spawn?

Does it work on singleplayer?

What a wonderful time we had last night. There were over 60 people on our official pve server!  We waited patiently for the ball to drop at midnight and when nothing happened, we all started telling ARK stories and jokes and really got to know each other better. When the ball finally dropped all the way into the water, there were fireworks, some amazing music and a great announcement from Studio Wildcard wishing us all a Happy New Year!  WOW!

You guys did such an excellent job and all of us on official pve server 374 were just ecstatic to be a part of the wonderful event.  

We know there are going to be bumps in the road but we are here to help smooth those bumps out.  Here's to a great year ahead!
