For a while I was worried that the Basilosaurus wouldn't be different enough from the game's other big marine predators (the real Basilosaurus was basically just a mammalian Mosasaurus from what I can tell), so it's good to see that it has a fair amount of unique features. The blubber is a good reference to real-life whaling, I'm guessing its weakness to deep water will make it more of a mid-game water mount, probably above a Megalodon and below a Plesiosaur, and I like how they've designed it to look kind of like an orca.

The first thing I thought was "A new Boss?", but it's probably some super-duper obscure prehistoric reptile (some people have been saying pangolin, but I think it looks too much like a lizard).

The first thing I thought when I saw the illustration was "Ooooh are we getting a Chinese dragon and guardian lion at some point?" but then I thought about it some more, and I'm guessing they're just the artist's renditions of a Raptor and a Sabertooth. Nevertheless, these explorer notes are a good change of pace, and I'm interested in seeing more from them.

That doesn't look too bad. I wonder if a "Snowball" or "Mudball" item will be added with this creature, or if you need to put Stone and such in its inventory to give it ammunition to throw.

That doesn't look too bad, and it's great that the Giganotosaurus is getting a herbivorous equivalent. The fact that it's immune to Torpor but can still be tamed, somehow, has me intrigued. I've never tamed a Brontosaurus or a Paraceratherium, the Platform Saddle has never been something I've found use for, but if you can build entire bases on the Titanosaur's back I might try taming one.

The Procoptodon looks perpetually annoyed, they're all like , as if it's thinking "Ugh, I have to carry these dorks around again? I was gonna have a Netflix marathon today, looks like that's not happening...."

It's good to see that the Ammonite has a resource that sets it apart from the Trilobite, I might started looking into those Medical or Energy Brews, but I might try making them if you can use Ammonite Bile as an alternative ingredient. However, I will say we're getting to the point again where there's a HUGE backlog of announced creatures. There are now almost as many announced Dino Dossiers as there are creatures in the actual game, and some of those Dossiers have been sitting around since the Summer! I do hope there's a big update planned where three or more creatures are added at once, lik there was when the Snow and Swamp Biomes were added.

The Dossier makes it sound like a forest version of the Megalania, but this sounds like the better option for a mount.
