    Patch 233 welcomes a new friend to the ARK, it’ll come as no surprise to survivors that the Gallimimus has been often been described as being chicken-like, with it’s extremely skittish behaviour, looking nervous even when eating! The speedy herbivore makes its way onto the ARK with no natural way to defend itself except for running away. Thankfully the Gallimimus may very well be the fastest dinosaur on the ARK, it's strength, endurance, and speed of its legs allow it to ferry up to 3 Survivors in a specially-designed Saddle!

    Today’s update adds an enormous amount of content and optimization, including:

    • SWAT-style Assault Armor for all your raiding needs!
    • Greenhouse structure pieces to aid survivors in growing crops
    • The shockingly powerful Electric Prod easily capable of knocking you out.
    • Improved save-game and save-and-load times for your ARKs!

    We’ve also added special name tags and custom hat skins for: Wildcard Admin Teams, Wildcard Non-Admin Team, Authorized External Testers, and Dev Kit Masters! You’ll be able to identify who they are on your ARK!

    Testers are given an exclusive Account-Bound cosmetic to indicate their much appreciated helpfulness, extra useful to wear when testing something!!

    I'm mostly excited for the sea drops and considering the fact that they aren't shown in the "Today's update includes" list worries me.

    Ahh, Well Gamer Perfection for your crimes against 100 Dodo's,  that will be 100 shock lashes....

    Okay. When will these updates hit? I mean if you're releasing the spotlight that has to mean you're close to releasing the update, right?

    Also will Xbox be getting this update PC is getting as well? I'd like to be up to date with PC.

    I wish the Xbox got updated as often as PC :/ Seems like it's gonna be a Minecraft thing all over again where the PC version is always so far ahead feature wise....

    What about console commands I don't care if I have to spend 5 min typing it on the Xbox I would like to be able to clear all dinosaur and not have to wait a few weeks to see one

    Maybe now, but i doubt it'll be like this when the game gets out of early access

    Next update we'll likely get what PC got in their last update. (Dung Beetle, Dimetrodon, Beer + Beer Barrels, etc...)

    It'd be nice if we got up to date with PC in this update and received Gallimimus and the new toys they are getting, but it's highly unlikely...
