That was when the game first came out in December for consoles. It's February. There's not 2.1 million playing the game. Steam charts had 13k concurrent players earlier this week. That 2.1 million number means nothing for the current state of the playerbase.

Just delay #4, no big deal. Its normal. Maybe dont package transfers with all this other cosmetic crap next time because I can guarantee its not actually the transfer system thats holding up this patch. Got to be one of the worst dev teams in gaming with one of the best IPs. Its a shame WC holds this game hostage. Free ark.

Personally I've had stuff stashed in the ocean for weeks that I've been waiting to bring to my new server, so the delays have been a pain. Transfers have been delayed so long I had to reset some cryo'd animals. Finally here though (fingers crossed)

The mickey mouse thing is cringe as hell. These custom mods being a mandatory and forced part of the game right down to official servers is a huge drawback imo. It reminds me of Ready Player 1 (love the movie btw) where The Oasis had all these different random characters that people used as Avatars. It was a free-for-all with cosmetics so to speak, which worked in the movie because that universe was an amalgamation of all things internet. Ark is not. Ark has a central theme. Ark has a central art style, a certain ook to the game's armor, weapons, tames, map etc. Seeing Mickey, Doom guy, Dr Disrespect, Mary Poppins, Left Shark, Colonel Sanders, or any number of infinite outside skins imported into the game just completely takes away from the look and feel of Ark, the game we actually paid to play.

Transfers get delayed FOUR TIMES and there's no mention of a new date in this CC or the last. I have to do the leg work and go on twitter searching for information that should be front and center on the official website. Nothing to see here, typical WC backwards upside down public relations. Would love an update or any look at all at The Center, which is supposed to be coming in 3 short weeks. I suppose we all know whats going to happen with that release date. Where are you guys seeing patch notes? The ones on the forum are out dated. *nevermind found them on twitter. Would be great for 1 person at WC to take 30 seconds to update the patch notes here but hey no surprise WC puts in minimal effort again.

It's Jan 31st if you haven't noticed WC. Where is the transfer update? Or did you delay it AGAIN ?

I guess we know why SE was pushed back now, to get this new dino into the frontier pack. This is a joke. This massive flying base isnt a cosmetic item. You cant call this a cosmetic pack anymore. Guess we shouldn't have expected any less from Shi and snail. Obviously we dont know the specifics of the Oasisaur, but it certainly seems like its going to give people a pretty big advantage on a dry wasteland type of map like SE. That is the exact opposite of what a cosmetic pack is supposed to be. Didnt take Shi long to introduce p2w elements into the "cosmetics" pack to force those who want to remain competitive on a server into buying it. If something like this is in the very first pack, I imagine its only going to get worse down the line.

Its early access because early access is a dev buzz word to throw out in an attempt to quell angry consumers when your game is a buggy unfinished mess that cant make its release date. The Forest 2 is an actual early access game that released in a bare bones state and has had a ton of content added since release. The "Early access" tag for ASA is nothing more than a facade. A game thats actually in "early access" doesnt have a dlc map 2 months later.

No sign of the updated roadmap either. I guess Shi got his money and ran.

I'd be fine with all other changes (still not a fan overall, but I can deal) if they still let you put cryofridges on rafts and quetz bases. For me, thats the straw that broke the camels back.

Its abysmally low. I flew around on my argy all day yesterday and had dinos, rafts, buildings etc popping right in front of my face. Thank god none of the bases or rafts had turrets, because I would have had no chance to react. In a game where you and your tame can get instantly shredded by 20 heavys, render distance has to be a top priority. Not to mention it makes searching for dinos to tame a huge pain because you are basically forced to fly right at ground level to even have them render, which puts you in turret range. I specifically remember improved render distance being a dev talking point leading up to release. Well, where is it? I suppose Shi needed a new mink coat or something, so WC had to make cuts to the render budget.

If WC provides you with a way to go back in time please let me know. I'd like to go back to my early 20s.

Really hate that WC disabled cryo fridges on quetz platforms. Such a garbage change. Stop making useless changes to the game that no one asked for.

Agree. I've done the same with paints in the cosmetics tab. Not a fan .

Lol no one's playing 4d chess like this. Cryos were fine the way they were, just make it so you cant throw them out around enemies to solve the pocket giga pvp issue. There done. Issue solved. Shi Hai I'll be waiting for my check in the mail
