You are telling me that there will not be any cryopods on Official on Xmast event? This is crazy to think that we will have all the dinos to spawn but no one will be able to tame them in official pve. Nearly... if not all server are capped already... no cryos, which only means no taming. Literally the whole point of the game. This is the craziest and biggest mistake i have seen a game with this size of a community make. God... this is getting to me. Already the main people on the server are quitting if not playing practically less...sad to see it go down like this...

I have been playing for about 3 weeks now and I find Ark Ascended pretty bare bone to what I was expecting. It looks awesome BUT I was expecting that as a bare minimum...and that is exactly what I got. The bare minimum! All the things that were developed for Ark Survival Evolved for quality of life were not implemented and that is extremely disappointing since this is practically an expensive texture pack with some unimportant additions if you ask me. Things that were a must, but we did not get: 1. Cryopods. <<<this is perhaps the biggest missed opportunity to make things better for both server rendering and stability. The fact that this is not here is telling me there was a conscious choice of making things bad for official players. 2. Mawings. <<< I thought this was a clear addition to help players do not waste their time feeding manually babies. Instead, what we got is Ark of 5 years ago where you have to waste 10 hours feeding an animal while doing absolutely nothing but looking at a screen to click. Terrible missed...perhaps the biggest tale of the extremely poor choices of development of this experience we call Ark Ascended. 3. We have the same exact problems we had as in year one of Ark Survival Evolved. A. Water dinos having meshing issues. Specially the tuso. B. Basilosaurus not hitting properly due to lag. C. Tusos not releasing dinos of any size. 4. Creating boundaries to prevent people from claiming entire areas. (The pillar issues again) 5. Optimization. If ark 1 was terribly optimize the fact that the bare minimum requirements run ark on 1080 in low poorly shows how rush and low performance this game delivers. A. 4k on a 5800x and 3080 runs at 20 FPS....we are talking in today's money about 2.5k pc. This is a terrible look for the dev team. 6. Dino AI....More like no brains all bark. The new Artificial Intelligence ark devs supposedly worked on for 3 years or more is even worse than Ark Survival Evolve's. You can tame any dino by literally walking in circles. You can clearly see they have a delay on their bite when the dino stops to bite the player. I do not know if this was intentional or not...but what it causes is that the essence of danger is gone. It is perhaps the worst thing that has happened to Ark as a game. You as the players are never in danger. Only dangers is having the server kick you out or laggin off to the lava inside a cave. Just dissatisfied and disappointed to be honest. I can keep going on and on about this stuff...but I am starting to believe what the ex employee of blizard was saying, "Game developers are starting to give you on purpose bad games in order to force you to wait for them to add the things that are missing to intentionally keep you engage". This is just sad... for me. Cause I literally wanted to play ark 2...but now i am like...Fool me once....14k hours of allowing them to sell me the idea that they were learning to make the game. Fool me twice... they literally failed at making a Texture pack work properly ...Fool me a third time... is not going to happen. I am here to let people know I am part of you guys...i have made a mistake in expecting this to be less worst. What we got for 45 dollars was Ark Survival Evolved Alpha on high end graphics that only rich people can run on 4 thousand dollar computers. I am part of the problem... but that stops on Ark 2. Vin can play his game on a 20,000 dollar computer...but I am not rich nor will i support Snail Games or the people who constantly lie on twitter about how they are working to fix...the same game for a second time.
