Ah, it seems there is still a mechanic of the game I do not know about. I was unaware you could travel between arks in single player or transfer dinos. Thinking I might just have to let this guy go.

I don't see why you can't take the essence to SE or tame an Oasisaur and bring it to the Island. You'll have to move quickly though -- you have 24 hours (or less by now) before that death essence expires.

Hello all! Been trying to find this information and I don't seem to be able to locate it. Currently playing single player on ASA on "The Island" and one of my dinos got a big bite taken out of it and I want to resurrect it. I have the essence. It says it can be resurrected in the waters of an Oasisaur. Every article I read about this says its only on scorched earth? I'm surprised the search function didn't yield answers about this. Am I missing something or do they just give us the dino's essence on "The Island" to torture us? lol Thanks in advance!

Hosting hardware requirements are 2-3x the CPU and RAM requirements with ARK SA vs ARK SE. The alternative is to purchase your own enterprise grade hardware and self host. That is what I did for my cluster that I have been hosting since August 2022. My new privately owned server hardware cost $29,000 but blows away the performance of Nitrado rented servers with 96 physical cores / 192 logical cores running at 4.1GHZ with 1,536GB of RAM. Server hardware is expensive and this same hardware at list price would be $80,000 per DELL's own website.

I’m on this server, too. Haven’t seen it repopulate in the playlist yet. Idk what’s going on. Stepped out for a couple hours, came back and server has vanished.

WHY! Why would they change the Thyla jump to only have a small straight up in the air vertical jump?!?? Even on a full sprint when you to try to jump you lose ALL momentum only to just jumps straight up! Horrible nerf! Almost makes it a pointless tame now. And given the amount of narcs and time needed to tame is basically no longer worth it. Anyone else agree???

I can tell by this comment alone that you buy NFTs. Micro transactions shouldn't exist, at all, especially if it means you don't have to play it. Tried logging on about an hour ago after work to find the server simply missing from the list. Anyone know why Asia-PVE-ScorchedEarth5540 has been taken offline?

I always go with: 1 HP, all I need 50% points in WEIGHT, to carry all the junk my kills give me... 50% points in Stamina, to keep on going...

I know there are a lot of glitches with notes... Maybe you desynced before, while getting the note or something... Check if you already have it unlocked. Maybe try on another server/game to get it, to see if the toon you are trying to get it on has it glitched (unfortunate)

Yes, like the DerGrinch says. It might be so that survivor skins have been piling up or something... Disable getting those skins? Is that still possible in ASA? But... Do you get the Black Weight Icon? Only at 30ish? I think that shouldnt be there before you have filled slots in the houndreds, so your previous "cap" is weird also... Cant find anything conclusive neither on this... Might be a Ark system thats auto fixing itself depending on your available RAM or something, but I doubt it... Another work-around could be installing stack-mods, or using a shoulder pet... Maybe with a lot of messing around, its possible to get your Toon info and file from older settings into your current savegame?

Really depends on what kind of Dino you would like to tame. There are many YouTube videos on trap building. ‘It’sBenz’ and “Nooblets” have some good advice in their videos.
