I think nitrado has dug themselves deep. There is a way out of this hole they made, but they probably wont do it for business and what not. ASA is really gonna be a sad place if nitrado doesnt change something soon

I saw it coming once I heard they where going to be the only company we can use, but it still doesnt make it right. They are even lowering the RAM by 6GB so according to their logic the price should now drop

There are many things that are not working as planned or hoped for with ASA but the game is still early access on steam so the people that are getting it should be ready for this because its new and still in early release. Early release players should be ready for bugs and problems and be there to to report them and help the game not expect it to be perfect and review it poorly. Just wait for 2024 when it comes out fully and then review it based on how it plays. There are a few things that they seem like they wont fix one of those things being server hosting being only by nitrado, but other than that we should just wait until it fully releases.

maybe if enough people say something, they hopefully will do something. Low chances but what other chance. At this point, if you want to play a private server with multiple maps with friends, it might be better to spend 1000$ on computer to run the servers by yourself for you and your friends, and then you would have all the maps and stuff and it wouldnt be monthly. Since we are allowed to host our own servers, this could be the best way. If you used nitrado, paying 30$ a month for all the maps, you would be paying over 360$ a month. In 3 months, the 1000$ computer would have already been payed off and you would be saving money after that point. I went a little of topic here but i feel like nitrado is not the best way to host a server now and i know lots of people agree

Why is nitrado 30+ dollars a month for a game server. It used to be 15 before it monopolized the game servers. I cant pay 30$ for a server so now instead of getting a lower amount of money you are getting non. Its for business but it really makes nitrado unenjoyable and also stops a lot of people from enjoying the experience of ark without having to worry about 24/7 sweats on official servers. You should really make it 15$ again.
