  1. Past hour
  2. Might just be me but lately I have been getting destroyed by poisons, if you get a direct hit they do a lot of damage and can fire rapidly, if you don't take a hit you go night night anyway.
  3. You have to go to Ab, although if i remember, i think there may be a mod to add nameless to the underground in Val.
  4. No, but if you’re trying to raise a Rock Drake, just use a Daeodon on passive healing.
  5. Today
  6. I agree, being able to transfer between the modded maps would make things interesting. Definitely would increase player base overall for the modded maps but possibly the game itself. It gives modders more power to work on mods that can work for numerous maps as well. I would love to be able to tame the new Dinos from scorched on svartalfheim. It shouldn’t be an issue to have modded Dino’s on the island or scorched earth since they aren’t directly linked to the official island servers for pve or pvp.

    Rainbow

Add Rainbow effect to rain in the map would add to immersion, and I think its really beautiful to see.

  9. It is very common for tribes in PVE to build lines, but after a long journey they are interrupted because they find themselves in enemy territory. The solution would be to build a two-way diversion module that would allow another tribe, when agreeing with the line to pass through their territory, to allow them to connect their lines to the lines of the requesting tribe. as if they were allies but only valid for installation of diversion and/or double hand. Allowing the two tribes to travel, and thus several tribes could make a joint effort to achieve some objective, such as transporting dinosaurs for pinches and minerals. a Example as they are done with public teleports.
  10. Please cluster all of the modded servers. I play on svartalfheim pve and I think allowing all the modded maps/ servers to cluster for their own experience would boost the popularity of them and the respective mods, and since they already have modded creatures and maps they should be allowed to have their own cluster and balance. Would be cool to be able to transfer to modded islands and scorched, and also the other new premium mod maps as well.
  11. Hello, Is there any way on how to get nameless vemon on The Island and Val?
  12. Plesiosaur TLC: Increased HP gain per level from 12% to 20% (matches normal dinos). New Model! Decreased base damage from 75 to 45 (small head). However, Plesiosaur deals 2.5x damage toward small water dinos. These include Coel, Piranha, Salmon, Angler, Eel, Cnidaria, Trilobite, and Eurypterid. Diet changed to Piscivore (will only eat fish). Plesiosaurs are now immune to Cnidaria and Eel shocks, like the Basilo. Increased drag weight to 550 so that they can't be trapped by net projectiles anymore. In the wild, Plesiosaurs will no longer target large dinos unless provoked. They only attack small dinos and humans now. Mounting a large dino (such as a Basilo) while a Plesiosaur is aggroed on you will cause the Plesiosaur to flee. Water Team Class Rework: To make the ocean ACTUALLY seem like an ecosystem and not a bunch of undead targeting you at all times, the ocean's team classes have been separated: The following water dinos are now classified as "Herbivore_Water": Coel Dolphin Salmon Trilobite The following water dinos are now classified as "Herbivore_Water_Large": Leedsichthys The following water dinos are now classified as "Carnivore_Water_Low": Angler Cnidaria Eel Eurypterid Manta Piranha The following water dinos are now classified as "Carnivore_Water_Medium": Dunkleosteus Megalodon Plesiosaur The following water dinos are now classified as "Carnivore_Water_High": Ammonite Basilo Mosasaur Tusoteuthis These classes correspond with their land variants, so e.g. a Cnidaria or Manta will not attack a Spino or Sarco in the water.
  13. Yeah, and I'm used to having to make caveats for some games. Like to play Horizon at 7680x1440 I have to reduce a few premium settings. Can play with mostly maxxed settings at 2560x1440 without an issue though. Averaging 100-120FPS. Most games at 1440p play quite well on my system. I don't usually try for maxed our graphic settings either, but usually go with a moderately high setting. Often reducing shadows, reflections, and other premium features for better FPS. Ark on the other hand, I am going to have to lean on making core ini changes to remove video features like clouds completely and make the game look like ass just to get it steadily over 60FPS. And to be fully clear, this isn't some archaic hardware either. Not the latest and greatest, but more than capable. CPU : AMD R9 3900X OC'ed to 4.25GHz RAM : 32B DDR4 at 3200Mhz GPU : MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming Z Trio with stock OC (have tried boosting core clock and VRAM, and it made almost zero difference with ASA) Monitor : Samsung 32" G5 Odyssey 1440p x3 OS drive : 500GB Evo 860 SATA SSD Game drive : A pair of 2TB Sabrent Rocket Q4's in RAID-0 Steam/Saves drive : 2TB Seagate BarraCuda 120 SATA SSD I will also note that the game is fully excluded from security software. I have removed any possible bloat from this system, and Windows 11 is tweaked as optimally as possible. So far A:SA is the only game that I struggle to maintain a decent framerate in, and it has been getting progressively worse with the recent updates.
  14. I play official small tribes pvp and have been on this server since day 1. It is an Asia server and the only reason we are playing it is because its the only server that wasn't slot capped on server release so my whole tribe was able get in. Day 1 of the server the ping was only 90 and was perfectly playable but now 2185 days later the ping sits at 300 for some hours of the day which is still very playable but for some reason for 12+ hours a day its sitting at 600+ ping and has extreme rubber banding. Every tribe thats built on this server is majority EU with a couple of NA players but there is exactly zero Asian players, so why not take the server save file and switch it to an EU server from an Asian server? Because right now its a horrid experience.
  15. Since I haven't been playing on such high character levels I have to take your word for it not being any way to reasonably level up further using relevant game content. I'd rather see some new content opening up at that level but if not you could have a very high experience gain for killing especially high level survivors. That would however only work on hardcore, because only on those servers the lives of survivors actually matter. If on non-hardcore it would get abused. On hardcore this mechanic would be hard for early game survivors to use to jump far ahead because any 130+ level character is so much more protected and progressed in the game.
  16. Lightning has always been pvp meta since day 1 but poison can be just as good but mainly for raiding as its poison AOE is amazing at blocking off areas especially vs people indoors all you need is line of site to someones spawn area and its GG
  17. Welcome back sunken survivors! Here's an o-fish-shoal statement from the TSW team, there's been a lot of fishy business these past two weeks! As always the terrible jokes are all part of the theme because we're revealing another TLC we've got in the works, Sphyrna! Our very own undersea Anky is getting a massive visual touch up for ASA courtesy of Scorching Kami. In addition, we're also giving everyone's (least) favourite scourge of the sea, Saurichthys, some love too! We've got some concept art of the visual touch ups the "lizard fish" will be receiving to match the theming of other creatures on TSW. In addition, it's also getting a brand new Abyssal variant! Read on to find out more! If this is your first time diving into the deep end, we are a dedicated team of individuals who are looking to spruce up the ocean biome in the same way that Scorched Earth offered a unique, biome specific challenge to survival. New creatures, resources, structures, items and more, all set on a huge custom map, we're looking to give ARK's oceans the TLC they deserve! The main goal is to bridge that huge gap between early and late game ocean exploration, and make it much more viable and more fun to live a life beneath the waves! This is unofficial content and is only related to our mod. It is in no way related with the official game and its content releases. Let's dive into the scoop! SPHYRNA TLC Our "hammer" might turn into a pan after all the cooking Kami did on its model! Sphyrna is currently in the process of upscaling, and man is this shark looking beautiful! Sphyrna was actually one of the first creatures added to the mod, so it's certainly very exciting to see it be brought up to ASA's quality and level of detail! Much like Ambulocetus' TLC, the attention that Sphyrna is being given is purely visual. Sphyrna's abilities will be remaining unchanged, its niche is perfect as is! ONE FISH, TWO FISH... Old fish, new fish! As mentioned earlier, Saurichthys is receiving a fresh coat of paint and a terrifying bigger cousin! If you haven't heard already, we're in the process of porting over all our fish to Ascended, and when we got to Saurichthys, we realised it was missing a much needed glow! A big part of the theming in TSW's roster is that every creature has a healthy shine to them, both as a reference to real world marine biology and due to some very important lore... Enough teasing though, you're here for the art! ZCI has gone above and beyond in his rendering of backgrounds and lighting, so go check out Saurichthys' new groove! Reef Saurichthys Native to the surface waters, the Reef Saurichthys (just your stock standard Saur' in game) patrols the sunlit reaches of the sea. While it's much more suited to chasing down smaller prey, these nimble fish have been known to snatch survivors right off their mounts! While too small to ride, they make for excellent early game guard dogs! Abyssal Saurichthys Nope. The deep sea is a hostile environment, so the life down there had to get even more hostile! Abyssal Saurichthys is the far larger, far more menacing cousin of those that live in the surface waters. These giants are a lot more indiscriminate in what they eat, with food being so scarce in the deep sea... so you're on the menu! Stronger, larger and maybe just a bit faster, the Abyssal Saurichthys is a formidable foe... or mount! Due to their increased size, these fish are rideable! COMMUNITY CORNER Seems you guys heard our plea to feature your content, because we got some submissions over the past two weeks! We love seeing the community sharing their love for our little project, so if you have anything you want to show off, feel free to send over some screenshots, artwork/fanart, videos or anything in between! There's a submssions channel in our Discord, or you can tag us @ARKSunken or with the hashtag #sunkenscoop on Twitter! Artwork An 'artist's' rendition of Ambulocetus by occasionallymalicious Inside the mind of a Sphyrna by Pyroha That's all for this edition of the Sunken Scoop, thanks for tuning in! Hope you're just as excited as we are to see more of Sphyrna's TLC/ready to make a run for it the moment Abyssal Saurichthys is in game! If you want even more TSW, why not come hang out in our discord! Have a wonderful timezone! If this is your first time seeing TSW, check out the links below to find out more! Please note that if you want to play our mod, you need both the map and creature mod active. 18. I think that is a cool idea however it would fit more with a primarily red wood / alpine map perhaps Fjordur.
  19. Wait wait wait a minute here. How about a submarine suit for megalodons? With a little tekdome wich clears visibility. Unlocked at alpha Gen1 boss. Gives WC enough time to develop it, since Gen1 will take at least another 2 years.
