  1. *tumbles and crashes through the ceiling* Hello yet again ARK community, this time I have a frog. after a funny bit of zci shenanigans, i present Metoposaurus glomerofaucium, the spore shooting salamander! Dossier: Notes Metopo can be found having any of the 3 possible spore types, identified by what colour it glows. Metopo has a 1 person saddle which shields the rider from all spore effects Metopo has a turret mode in which it buries itself into the ground and periodically shoots out spores of the last type that it had Taming To tame a wild Metopo, it is recommended that you eat the mushroom type that negates whatever shroom type the wild one has. This is because to tame it you will have to walk up to it and feed it while it is charging up a spore shot, so that in case of a blunder you dont get hit with the full force of a spore cloud. Once you feed it enough, the metoposaurus will be tamed. Its preferred foods are, in order: Superior Kibble Raw Mutton Raw Prime Meat Raw Prime FIsh Meat Raw Meat Raw Fish Meat Abilities Land: Lclick: Standard bite Rclick: Aoe spore cloud R click Hold: Brings up crosshairs, targetted spore cannon. 5 second cooldown between shots. Spacebar: Bury/Stop burying. Ctrl: Toggle spore type Water Lclick: Standard bite Rclick: Tail slap X: Toggle swim/walk Ctrl: Toggle spore type Spore Types: Hallucinogenic: Wild: Drains oxygen and stamina, messes with vision Allied: Acts as short range cloak for duration of effect Freezing: Wild: Slows creatures, eventually freezes for 5 seconds/causes severe hypothermia in players Allied: Acts as a mini heal, boosts health regen for 15 seconds Radioactive: Wild: Afflicts non-rad immune creatures with severe radiation Allied: Acts as a short term mushroom brew that lasts for 30 seconds Other art: metopos are naturally lazy and will not go after anything unless they are attacked or touched dont be fooled by their normally carefree attitude though, an agitated metopo can and will do eveerything in its power to end you (also pro tip: the colours that flash on the back patterns of a metopo are a good indicator of what spore types they have charged up, so be prepared with mushrooms when approaching one) apparently rock drakes can get high too? Supplementary links: the real creature: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metoposaurus Aaaaand that's all folks! Good luck with the competition!
  2. Species: Titanomyrma parvagigan Time: Paleogene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Territorial Wild After a long time wandering these aberrant caverns being attacked by her soldiers and drones, I finally found Queen Titanomyrma when I cautiously followed one of her soldiers taking a carcass to her ant hill, since the carcass is placed near the anthill. , there is a small chance that the queen will come out to feed while the workers take her to the anthill, , she was the length of a German shepherd and easily reached knee height. Once she sees a stranger approaching her territory, she won't hesitate to send her soldiers to attack, even if it kills many of her children. Domesticated many survivors destroy the anthills with the queen in the process to collect small resources such as meat, berries and fungi wood. Others tried their luck to camouflage themselves with Ghillie clothing and approach the anthill with a carcass, but the Queen appeared not to accept the kindness of a two-legged bush, she simply ignored it. When a survivor dressed in quintine armor approached with the carcass of a large animal, the queen saw this survivor as a king of her offspring and accepted him into her hive. Once the survivor gains the loyalty of the queen, she is able to quickly create an anthill and will start collecting resources that her king (surviving player) chooses from collecting the fruits and vegetables from the crop plot, to the feces of nearby creatures to base cleaning. Some survivors place these anthills to attack small animals and collect meat and leather or even berries and fibers from nearby bushes.
  3. Introducing the Caldwellia philyrina, a giant snail of epic proportions that will revolutionize the way you play Ark Survival Evolved. This colossal creature boasts an enormous shell that serves as both a mobile home and armored transport for players, offering unparalleled protection and mobility. Imagine having a nearly unstoppable fortress, with the ability to move around the map with ease! Once tamed, players can craft a mount that offers a trapdoor access into the shell, creating a fully enclosed and impenetrable armoured transport. The shell is made of a super-hardened material that is 10 times stronger than metal, making it an excellent defence against even the mightiest of Giga attacks and bleeding damage. But outside of the shell she is very vulnerable, so she can cover inside the shell. Sche is very heavy and this does not cause recoil. The large size of the Caldwellia philyrina also allows for players to craft a 2x2 foundation set inside, turning it into a veritable fortress. Imagine having a fully equipped base with crafting tables, storage chests, and even a bed for respawning, all inside the safety and comfort of the Bourou's shell (if game engine permits). Otherwise, its inventory system acts as a crafting platform and bed, allowing players to respawn back into it. It's the ultimate survival tool, with all the amenities of home at your fingertips. But the Caldwellia philyrina isn't just a "fortress on wheels", it's also a foraging powerhouse. It can forage berries ,hatch, fiber, wood, seeds, black and white perls efficiently, and over time its inventory also increases with polymer, fertelizer, cement and random types of mushrooms. With the Helix Pomatia by your side, you'll never have to worry about running low on resources again. It's like having a portable loot room, and you'll be able to gather resources more efficiently greater safety than ever before. One of the Caldwellia philyrina special traits is its ability to climb nearly any surface, including vertically scaling mountains or cliffs. Its large shell also allows it to trap lots of air, providing the player with a week-long duration of underwater seabed crawling, adding a new style of exploration for players. Imagine being able to explore the depths of the sea without the need for a diving suit, or traversing treacherous mountain ranges with ease. The Helix Pomatia opens up a whole new world of possibilities, and you'll be able to discover hidden locations and secrets that were previously unreachable for many players. But she is very slow!!!! However, her attacks are very weak, so she is not a fighting creature in that sens. But she has a big cannon on her saddle, that's her main weapon for the damage deal. However, they need ammunation that they have to carry with them. The slime she drags behinde her slows down every enemies and after a long time where they walk on there they become stuck. But the most important thing about Aberrations is of course the glow, her feelerscan glow in different beautyfull colors. This makes it perfect to tame a Reaper, as it emits light throgh the feelers and with the cannon on the shell, it does enough damage on the Reaper. You tame them by feeding them mushroom soup!
  4. ESSEXELLA ASHERAE THE RADIOACTIVE TERROR APPEARANCE: Very similar to the Vampire Squids known in our world, the great differential of the squids that inhabit the aberration is in the fact that they float, and do not live in the water, besides of course, like the Gremlins, they have a rule: No Feed an Essexella Asherae radiation! WILD: Wild Essexella Asherae are normally peaceful, and live floating in the higher parts of the aberration. They feed on small insects they find, such as light beetles, but they have a problem: they are addicted to Reaper pheromones. They are unable to resist when a player uses a pheromone or when they encounter Reapers. The problem is: Reapers are in the radioactive part of the aberration, and the radiation has a powerful effect on the Ark's Essexella Asherae: It causes them to mutate, and transform into a giant creature, which is part of humanity's greatest nightmares : Cthulhu. In their Cthulhu form, the Essexella Asherae are slightly larger than the Reapers, and with overwhelming power, they are able to kill everything in their path, until they manage to satiate their uncontrollable appetite for pheromones. The entire body would look something like this: DOMESTICATED: Essexella Asherae have the same ability as other aberration animals: they can produce their own light, and, because they are small, they can cling to the players' shoulder, to protect them from threats that use darkness as a form of attack. Its charge meter is also used in its Cthulhu form, being the meter of the amount of blows that Essexella Asherae is able to deliver before returning to its normal form. DOMESTICATION: The taming of an Essexella Asherae is divided into 3 parts: attraction, combat and control. To tame an Essexella Asherae, the player needs to attract it to radiation, and have at least one powerful radiation-resistant creature. To do this, the player must consume pheromones from Reapers to attract their attention. Once it has their attention, the player must move to the radioactive part of the map, where a bar will then appear over Essexella Asherae's head. This bar counts the amount of radiation Essexella Asherae has accumulated, and when full, Essexella Asherae assumes its Cthulhu form, transforming into the most ferocious and devastating beast of all aberration. In Cthulhu form, Essexella Asherae completely loses control, and starts attacking everything around it, including the player. A full bar appears above her head, and it shrinks over time, indicating the amount of time left for her to return to her normal form. Another extremely important detail: in this form, the Essexella Asherae are only affected by creatures resistant to radiation. Otherwise, the creature doesn't deal damage to Essexella Asherae, and still takes passive radiation damage. At that moment, the player must mount the creature resistant to radiation (we indicate a Reaper), and start a fight with Essexella Asherae to enter the second part of the dome. Essexella Asherae will focus on the player while the pheromone effect is active, otherwise it will attack everything around it. Wild Reapers will spawn and engage in combat. The player needs to be very careful, because if Essexella Asherae kills a Reaper, the bar over its head fills up again, and its hp regenerates, which makes taming it very difficult. When Essexella Asherae's hp drops, she will grab the creature the player is mounted on, and will be immobile for some time. At this time, the player must dismount the creature and approach the Essexella Asherae's face, and feed it Reaper pheromone. When you do so, Essexella Asherae's hp will restore itself, as well as its time bar, and it will allow the player to ride it, and thus start the third part of taming. Once the player mounts the Essexella Asherae, it lets out a scream that attracts all Reapers around it, and the player must kill all those around it. The player must pay attention to the meter above Essexella Asherae's head, because if it goes to zero, it returns to its original form, and the tame is lost. This meter drops faster if the player uses a special move from Essexella Asherae, otherwise, it drops at the same speed as the battery charge of a normal aberration light animal. Thus, the player must kill all the Reapers around him until the taming meter fills up completely, and Essexella Asherae finally returns to its original, tamed form. It is important to emphasize that taming occurs in the radioactive part of the map, that is, it is important to be equipped to resist radiation. Another important detail: even after being tamed, in Cthulhu form, Essexella Asherae continues to emit radiation. Creatures that are not resistant to radiation and players that are not equipped with resistant armor take passive damage. SKILLS: In normal mode, Essexella Asherae, when in radiation, will passively generate radioactive element in your inventory. This element can be used to transform Essexella Asherae into Cthulhu on any map. 100 radioactive elements are required per transformation. Note: In radioactive areas, a tamed Essexella Asherae has no time limit to maintain its transformation. She can stay in this form for as long as the player wants. Only outside of the radiation will the radioactive element be needed and the transformation time is equivalent to the light charge it has. In Cthulhu mode, Essexella Asherae has 3 abilities: NORMAL ATTACK, which consists of a sequence of punches; LIGHT PUNCH, a punch that deals 4x more damage to creatures that take light damage (Reapers and unknowns etc.), and 2x more damage than a normal attack. A light punch consumes 10% of Essexella Asherae's total light charge. RADIOACTIVE LIGHT CANNON, a blow that combines radiation and light in a powerful shot that comes out of its mouth, causing enormous damage to everything in front of it, with a great range. This blow passes through targets, that is, if it hits a creature, it will pass through it and hit targets behind it up to the limit of its range. This move expends around 50% of Essexella Asherae's total light charge. Note: An Essexella Asherae, when its charge of light is depleted, will only be able to transform back into Cthulhu mode when its charge of energy reaches 100%. An Essexella Asherae has the ability to grab and hold any creature smaller than or equal to a giganotosaurus. The creature is immobile, unable to attack, while Essexella Asherae's energy charge drops 3x faster during this process. In this way, Essexella Asherae becomes the ideal companion for taming other animals, as it gives the player enough time to set a trap around the creature instead of luring it into one, as well as making it an excellent creature. for pvp, as it can make it impossible for an opponent to move.
  5. wild basically working alone Aggressive predator that attacks smaller creatures It has a strong sense of territory and is hostile to the same species. Very vindictive and hostile for a long time tame Hugging a bear trap while unseen and approaching it to release it will temporarily make them friendly (Survivor's attacks will not hit when friendly) Can't be ridden, but taming progresses by fighting together (like a Amargasaurus Tames) A tame is completed by killing a certain number of enemies depending on the level. tamed Mate boost doesn't work Also, if a tamed creature is nearby, it will become weaker. Instead, combat strength increases when no other tamed creatures are nearby. This buff is permanently lost after mating even once.
  6. Introducing the Helix Pomatia, a giant snail of epic proportions that will revolutionize the way you play Ark Survival Evolved. The large size of the Helix Pomatia also allows for players to craft a 2x2 foundation set inside, turning it into a veritable fortress. But the Helix Pomatia isn't just a "fortress on wheels", it's also a foraging powerhouse. One of the Helix Pomatia special traits is its ability to climb nearly any surface, including vertically scaling mountains or cliffs.
  7. Dossier: Gigantoscorpio Willsi Time: Visean age of the Carboniferous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild "Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a very intelligent and patient hunter. It buries itself under the surface sticking its tail above lying in wait for an unfortunate victim large enough to sense. That unfortunate soul will be pierced by its tail and injected with a very deadly venom that causes complete paralysis, even the biggest and meanest hunters succumb to the toxin." Domesticated "Taming Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a very delicate and careful process, I mentioned previously that it lies in wait for something large enough to sense. I myself have stood above this beast and it didn't attack. Seen as how large they are, they must take a large amount of food to stay sustained. I managed to lure a Diplodocus over to it and before I could get out of the way it attacked, nearly hitting me! Not long after, the Diplodocus collapsed, but Gigantoscorpio Willsi didn't reveal itself straight away. I noticed its head pop up briefly, it must have been looking for predators. It later dug itself out and began feasting upon the paralyzed Diplodocus. I've only seen a handful of these domesticated but from what I've heard, their toxin can be extracted and synthesized into a more potent narcotic that can be used to make darts, some tribes have even gone so far as to use the creature to tranquilize others. Asides from its powerful sedative, its just as stealthy when domesticated as it is wild being able to bury its rider with it. Its outer shell seems to cause it to have a resistance to gunfire and has even been known to defend its rider with its large pincers. Being so large, its tail has alot of range and can be used to pluck gliders out of the sky!" Gameplay: Wild Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a large creature (around the size of a Diplo/Rex) but is extremely shy, it will not come out of its buried form unless there is a paralyzed creature nearby. Before it emerges, it will check to see if any predators or humans are nearby (players can wear Ghillie). Whilst in its buried form, it has its tail revealed in a mound so you can see it slightly. Gigantoscorpio Willsi will only ever attack creatures larger than an Allosaurus like this. Taming Taming Gigantoscorpio Willsi is complicated, players must first lure it out by getting a creature paralyzed in the area either by wild or tamed creatures. Anything smaller than an Allosaurus wont suffice, including babies. Once it has paralyzed something and shows its head, there must be no carnivorous or humans (not wearing ghillie) in the area, otherwise it won't emerge to feed. The creature that has been paralyzed must have bio toxin on it, this causes Gigantoscorpio Willsi to begin losing torpidity. Depending on the level/taming multiplier, it may require more than one creature with bio toxin. After it has passed out from the bio toxin, players can feed it any form of meat. It particularly likes spoiled meat, Kibble is also extremely good! Domesticated After it has finally been tamed, a saddle can be equipped and it can be ridden! The saddle has the player situated on its head, Gigantoscorpio Willsi has some very interesting uses: It has passive resistance to gunfire, including turrets. Holding C/RAS can protect its rider by blocking line of sight from the front with its massive pincers. Left Click/RT is its basic attack, Left click/RT can be held up for a charge attack that causes both broken bones and bleed! Right Click/LT is its tails attack, this can be used to great lengths with knocking other creatures out (increasing melee damage also increases the torpidity damage). Holding Right Click/LT allows it to thrust its tail in the sky piercing flyers/gliders and dragging them down. Pressing CTRL/RB will cause it to bury allowing you to still use its tail. Pressing C/RAS whilst buried will pop its head up. Holding C/RAS cannot protect the rider. Weapons can be equipped while ridden. It is immune to the Paralysis Toxin it produces. Breeding Breeding Gigantoscorpio Willsi is also tricky and delicate, both the male and female must be buried to begin mating. When the egg is laid, it is stuck where the female was until it hatches. Stats Gigantoscorpio Willsi is slow when it comes to movement but is quick with its attacks, it deals significant damage with its left click attack but deals piercing (goes through armor) damage with its tail, albeit weaker than the left click. It is somewhat tanky and can be used as a turret sponge because of the resistance to gunfire.
  8. I Introduce the Labyrinthodontia, it will be a super amphibian made for Aberration. Common Name: Labyrinthodontia. Species: Labyrinthodontia Megalis. Time: Late Paleozoic Diet: Carnivorous/Piscivorous. Temperament: Aggressive. Concepts: (To Know about Labyrinthodontia) The core unique ability for Labyrinthodontia will be a useful sticky slime ability, with its slime it can use it to shoot it at opponents or lay it on the ground working similarly to a bear trap to immobilize things for a little period of time. (I was thinking either 20 or 30 seconds for the time duration) if you have tools you can break free from it faster or help break out other things faster too. Its sticky slime can also allow it to use to climb and scale surfaces when in its sticky mode. The slime grants it an ecological bonus to stay resistant to gas, basilisk poison, reaper acid and radiation. I was thinking too that since it’s an amphibian it will have a multiple stage lifecycle, and they have to breed in water too, the stages consist of a tadpole at juvenile and half tadpole and half adult for adolescent and then adult. And I thought it would be fun if they were sexually dimorphic like shadowmanes. Taming: the taming I wanted to make interesting. So basically you need to get a pheromone gland from a female Labyrinthodontia and use it to make them passive on you, and I decided to make the feeding options flexible, once in the passive state you can approach them and feed them Quality fish baskets, Large Fertilized Eggs, or a Reaper baby for an instant tame Maybe (if they decide to add that) the gland effects last for 5 mins and also you get two from each one you harvest one from. To tell if they’re ready to be fed again their fins on their heads will perk but if not hungry yet they’ll stay in default position. Tamed: Congrats when taming this things. I was thinking it would have a multi-seated saddle for good transport. The slime should make for good exploring and good offense. The reaper buff should make it formidable, and also being an apex predator should help you big time with having a good strong creature on your side. also was thinking it would be cool if it got a buff when consuming reaper pheromones of a nice buff. Dossier: wild- It’s no longer a surprise to see a regular creature taken to an extreme, at least not for me, it’s just sort of the norm now. These super amphibians love and inhabit the rivers, lakes, swamps and the bioluminescent biome. They stand at the top of the food chain and don’t have a nice temperament! I’ve seen them use a slime to hunt and immortalize their prey and to keep themselves safe. Unfortunately it’s hard to observe these buggers because they always want to snack on something. Domesticated- I was not wrong with calling them super amphibians! What’s even more crazy are those brave enough to tame them. Taming is interesting Labyrinthodontia glands apparently sooth their temperament and allow for approaching. They have a nack for large fertilized eggs, quality fish baskets and especially reaper spawn those help them to tame in an instant! These creatures have an interesting and useful sticky slime they use like I observed them using in the wild. They can use this slime to immobilize things to shooting things with it or pouring it on the ground like a trap, it also grants them protection from gas, basilisk poison, reaper acid and radiation. They also gain a significant buff when they consume reaper pheromones too. so that all for this creature I hope you guys like it, it was a ton of fun making this creature have a good day fellow Survivors. Also my apologies if the it isn’t that super good.

  12. Introducing Gorgonops, ARK’s Dagger-toothed Bloodhound Common Name: Gorgonops Species: Gorgonops secutor Time: Late Permian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: “Gorgnops secutor has the most developed sense of smell I’ve witnessed among the local wildlife. It’s a hunter in every sense of the word: once it memorizes the scent of its next prey, it will seek it out anywhere, no matter how far it runs. Gorgonops prefers to take its time to bring down its target, since it’s no fast runner. Furthermore, its sturdy physique allows it to resist venom and toxins that would knock out or even kill any other creature of the same size. That means Gorgonops doesn’t have to worry about snake bites, bug stings, poison gas and such! Good thing it’s not so ravenous to devour anything it smells!” Domesticated: “I’ve met some ingenious survivors who specialized in training their Gorgonops as bloodhounds. This beast’s smelling is so masterly, it can be taught to recognize the scent of just about anything. Wild herbivores, tamed creatures, enemy survivors, you name it! It can even learn to detect hidden traps or treasures! Moreover, tracking creatures such as Parasaurus are able to detect threats from greater distances, with a tamed Gorgonops’ help. But that’s not all: thanks to its durability, survivors can use Gorgonops to carry knocked out creatures on a special transport sledge.” Introduction: Greetings, survivors! I introduce to you the stalker of scent; the Gorgonops! The foundational ideas and selling points for this therapsid include: Role as a tracker and taming assistant Taming method involving kidnapping Ability to find max-level creatures Immunity to torpor and toxins Enhances the tracking abilities of other creatures Can drag unconscious creatures to safer locations for taming The Gorgonops has repeatedly appeared in votes and makes it to the Top 10 consistently, but hasn’t made it through. As one of ARK’s scrapped creatures and one of the few from the mainstream to have not made it into the game, this concept for Ragnarok will give it time to shine. Wild: Gorgonops most often patrol the arid zones of Ragnarok. Their incredible sense of smell allows them to detect creatures in a wide range around them. Not being very fast, they tend to go after specifically slower prey, which includes survivors. They’re patient, and will track down their targets until an opportunity presents itself. You’ll usually find Gorgonops in mated pairs, since they guard something valuable. Taming Process: To protect their offspring from the dangers of the ARK, Gorgonops will build their dens in more secure and healthy areas. In these dens, they will store food and raise their pups isolated from the outside world. Survivors can enter these dens and kidnap the pups for themselves. However, parents have increased aggression towards anything within the vicinity of their dens, gaining a parental buff. The owners of the den will need to be dealt with in whatever way a survivor desires, and ensure that they can collect the pups in relative safety. From there, survivors will need to tend to the young beast’s needs until they are satisfied and reach adulthood. Tamed: Congratulations! You’ve successfully tamed a Gorgonops! With such a fierce predator and expert tracker in your hands, its utility will be immeasurable. Actions: Primary Attack (, , ): A basic bite attack. This ignores armor. Secondary Attack (, , ): The Gorgonops raises its nose to the air and takes in a scent. A reticle will appear, allowing for aim. Creatures sniffed out by a Gorgonops will be permanently tracked until they sniff out a different target. The current target will have their level and stats revealed like HLNA. Learning the scent of a specific animal will allow the Gorgonops to passively identify others of that species in the future. They can also identify the smells of objects like traps and explorer notes. Roar (Click C, , ): A strictly cosmetic roar. Jump (Press Space, , ): A basic jump. Cannot jump with the Gorgonops Sled Saddle. Passive Abilities: Autoalert: Like a Parasaur, the Gorgonops can detect specific threats. Because of its sense of smell, it can better pinpoint specific species. However, it needs to have been exposed to the scent before in order to properly warn their masters. Immunities: Gorgonops are immune to the effects of torpor, poisons, and radiation. Gorgonops Den: In their inventory, survivors can craft a den like those found in the wild. This structure can house anything up to the size of an adult Gorgonops and can store food like a trough. Babies will be able to eat from the stored reserves, and will grow at a faster rate while in the den. There is also notable insulation. Treasure Hunting: When idle, Gorgonops have a chance to uncover rare resources, equipment, blueprints that are added to their inventory. The quality of unearthed gear is entirely random. Tracking Buff: Nearby creatures with similar tracking ability such as Parasaurs, Troodons, and Direwolves have their own detection range increased in the presence of a Gorgonops. Sled Saddle: The Gorgonops has a standard Gorgonops Saddle. A more advanced Gorgonops Sled Saddle can be constructed as well. Unconscious creatures can be placed onto the sled and transferred to a different location. Multiple Gorgonops may be required to drag larger creatures. Two for a Rex, three for a Bronto, etc. Having this saddle equipped prevents jumping. The sled saddle can also carry cargo and can have structures placed on it’s surface area, great for sleigh rides in the snow and dessert also able to be used as a carry bus for multiple players if chairs are placed on it, because Gorgo is very quick it’s a faster alternative to platform saddle creatures and diplos. The sled can be used as a battering ram fill the sled up with rocks and switch to battering ram lead the Gorgo up a slope and detach the sled it will proceed to quickly crash down the hill destroying any structures in its path. Parental Buff (Wild Only): In the presence of their own pups, wild Gorgonops receive a buff that increases damage output and damage resistance. Pups raised by survivors don’t develop this behavior. Utility & Scenarios: PvE: Gorgonops provide lots of use when it comes to taming creatures. Their scent being able to identify the levels and stats of creatures makes finding worthy tames far easier. Bringing unconscious creatures to safety as they tame is also incredibly helpful. If you need to return to a particular creature later since you don’t have the resources, you can leave the creature marked and come back once you’re ready. The Gorgonops Den is great for raising babies with the growth buff and food reserves. The den can also act as a temporary base when on the go. Digging up valuable treasure is certainly valuable in itself. Gorgonops may see use in swamps and other areas with lots of venomous insects and beasts. PvP: Gorgonops make for great base defenders. Their autoalert defining specific species is paired well with Parasaurs who identify particular groups of enemies, now at an increased range. In the midst of a fight, their fangs come into good use when ignoring armor of all kinds, allowing them to deal high damage to normally beefy targets. If a target is sent on the run, the Gorgonops can pick up on their scent and hunt them down until they’re caught. Sniffing out traps can ease raiding by helping raid parties avoid disaster. The main thing to note is that the Gorgonops isn’t a great fighter. It operates more as an ambushing assassin that ganks when opportunities present themselves. Directly involving themselves in battle leaves them vulnerable to creatures who fill those bruising roles better. Conclusion: If there is any creature that truly deserves to join the roster of ARK, it is the Gorgonops. Countless entries in previous submissions with a wide variety of ideas show that this creature can work! In the most popular map of ARK history, bringing back a scrapped creature, and a popular one at that, would give players the best gaming experience imaginable. Have fun, survivors! 19. Week three has just started! Dodorrhea is an Ark cluster that will be adding content slowly over time. This server will be a great place to either learn the ropes of Ark, play with friends and family, or just play solo at your own pace. There's no specific way to play on Dodorrhea except to have fun while socializing with others. Because this server will have timed DLC progression, it would be a good place to introduce a friend or child to Ark and have them experience it the same way you did; by seeing each expansion get added one after the other. Features: Dodorrhea will have a method that assists players into endgame, and that is the imprinting bonus will go from `20%` > `60%` every other weekend. Bosses, caves, and farming, will all be safer on those weekends. S+ Nanny makes imprinting very easy Hardware: Dedicated Intel Xeon rack server w/ 64Gb RAM Platform: Steam only (no Epic Store players, sorry) Gameplay: PVE (but with PVP features such as non-expiring structures, grab wild dinos) Map(s): The Island, then Scorched Earth, and finally Aberration Rates: 2x structures on platforms; 2x breeding-related rates; 1x everything else Mods: Structures Plus, Awesome Spyglass, eco's Stable, Transferrable Element Wild creature max level: 150 (5.0 difficulty) Damage numbers / hit markers are enabled Fog on The Island: Disabled! If you're a good fit then I'll give you the details over Discord. Also, bringing family along is encouraged! Ideally the server would consist of a handful of small groups and individuals, making up a few tribes, working together and enjoying eachothers' company. But don't be discouraged if you just want to join by yourself; you can always find a tribe with others, or just play solo.

  22. location: murder murder snow. appearance: small feathered shoulder mount raptor with ice coming out of it. behavior: normally passive but becomes aggressive near a giga, carcha and rhynio or while the player is holding a flamethrower. taming: passive, will take ice wyvern eggs, the player must not have any flame weapon in their inventory to feed it, effectiveness depends on level. utility: pve use: slows down wild creatures with its spit, passive fur genration like ovis, heat protection. pvp use: each spit makes giga rage meter go up by 5%, destroys 2 bloodrage points on carchar, does a normal slowdown on rhynio and negates shadowmane debuff. while carried will complety prevent the player from being flame debuffed. weakness: can be shot while shoulder mounted by: bow (all types), crossbow, slingshot, longneck rifle, sniper rifle. attacks: bite - unpicked pyroraptor will only do this attack, damage matches normal raptor however with bloodrage stolen from carcha it will match megalodon. ice spit: slows wild dinos, makes giga rage meter go up, steals carcha bloodrage, slows tamed rhynio, normally spits every 8 seconds but with giga rage being stolen will spit faster. frozen shield: will explode negating flame buff but not doing damage every time the player carrying it gets debuffed by flamethrower. after stealling rhynio speed will revert the flamethrower damage back like kentro reverts melee. jump: after the player carrying it dies to: giga, carcha, rhynio, flamethrower, wild creature; the pyroraptor jumps and latches to their side dealling deinon bleed. special variants: aberrant pyroraptor (spawns in mushroom cave, has glowing feathers), cave pyroraptor (spawns in ice cave, has thicker feathers), spirit pyroraptor (ghost version, spawns in the maze, not tameable but drops ghost pyroraptor costume), lava pyroraptor (untameable, spawns as minion in lava golem fight).
  23. The Chatham Raven - (Giant Raven) The Chatham (Corvus Moriorum) was a old species of prehistoric Raven. It will be a more fantasy like creature tied in with a real world species, using capabilities like death and spying mechanics in its kit. I had decided to go with a giant Raven for my submission as I definitely think it fits the map since Ragnarök is associated with Norse Mythology and Ravens are a common creature in Norse Mythology with Odin using them as spies. The Chatham Raven would be larger than a Argent and Snow Owl while being a relatively tall creature while being much more stealthy as well. To tame one of these majestic creatures you require a Spyglass and food (most favorably mammal corpses and superior kibble). To tame a Chatham Raven you must first find one perching on something, once you see it perching you must look at it with a spyglass for a duration and it will then move. You must repeat this process for 3 times until it will slowly approach you and ask for something to eat, then you repeat this process until tamed. Once tamed it will have a variety of abilities allowing it to have PvE and PvP utility. 1: Scanning Vision - X Press C while flying, gliding or on the ground to have a unique FoV that will highlight enemy creatures and players in red, Max Level creatures in yellow and ally creatures in green. While this ability is active the player will have an increased FoV allowing them to see more. When withing 75m of a creature you have the ability to see the creatures stats passively like HLNA. 2: Weakening Spy - Right Click While Perched on the ground or flying you have the ability to hold right click to have you vision Zoom in and focus on a particular creature or group of creatures. If you are able to lock on and spy on the creature for a duration they will be notified with a loud Raven cry and experience the Targeted De-Buff. After inflicting a creature / group of creatures with a Targeted De-Buff the Chatham Raven gains a speed, stamina and attack boost 2.5: Targeted When a creature has a targeted De-Buff they will take significantly more damage than regularly stacking with how long they were spied on for (only to a maximum amount), and will drain stamina faster as well. This buff will last a duration relative to how long they were spied on from a Chatham Raven. 3: Pin Down - Hold Ctrl + Left Click While flying hold ctrl and a cursor will appear on your screen, once it is aimed at a creature you can left click to glide down and pounce onto a creature. While a creature is pounced it will be unable to attack or move for 12s. While a Chatham has a creature / or player pinned they are able to attack the pinned creature. 4: Death's Presence - C Killing creatures as well as harvesting up corpses charges up a death metre. Once the death meter is full it will only last for a certain duration, during this duration the Chatham can press C to roar very loudly and causing any creature within 400m to get the Death's Presence effect. While Death's Presence is active any creature within 200 metres of the Chatham will be inflicted with this effect and the Chatham's Eyes will glow, Talons will glow, and will be surrounded by a dark shadow that will leave a trail behind it. 4.5a: Death's Presence Effect When a creature is affected with the Death's Presence Effect it will decrease any creatures Health Regen, Stamina, Attack Damage, How much damage it takes and Speed that are over 15% health stacking with how much health it has. Creatures that are under 15% health will gain an increased Health Regen, Stamina and Speed when affected with this. This would incentivize the Chatham player to try and pick down the enemies hp and have them go after stronger and beefier tames and change the tide of battle. (More Health = More Debuffed, Less Health = Less Debuffed) A quote from John Wick 4 explains this ability perfectly: "Those who cling to death, live. And those who cling to life, die." - John Wick and Caine (John Wick 4) 4.5b: Chatham Weakened State After the Death's Presence ability is over the Chatham will have a De-Buff of Stamina and Attack Damage for 3 minutes. You have the option to have your Raven lay down to increase the rate at which the De-Buff will go away. The Death's Presence Ability has a cooldown of 6 minutes until it can be used again. Passive Ability: Night Stalker - Passive When the map turns to Night time the Raven will get significantly darker, (almost equivalent to being invisible) allowing it to have stealthy travel at night. Insulation - Passive While in the Murder Snow on Ragnarök the Chatham Raven will allow it's rider to endure the temperatures, but won't completely negate it's affects. Glider - Passive When not aiming upwards while flying the Chatham Raven will use a faster glide like ability which will slowly regen stamina while being able to travel. Saddle - The Chatham's Saddle will be unlocked at Level 68 and will be craftable in the smithy. It would also have a craftable component that can be equipped that would be a Saddle Camera which would be strapped to the front of the Raven. There would be another craftable device to go along with this called Chatham Saddle Camera thing and it would allow for any player to see through all of the cameras strapped to tamed Ravens that they own. Weaknesses - The Chatham is not a tanky creature when not in Death's Presence and has slightly less than average health, but makes up for it in Stamina and Damage. The Chatham are much weaker when in warmer temperatures but are quite fond of the colder areas of Rag like the Murder Snow.] And that is it for my Chatham Raven creature submission, please upvote it if you like and also make sure to check out some other cool ideas submitted. Hope you enjoyed the concept! Link to Wikipedia Page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chatham_raven

  25. Tired of taming a Rex for bossfights over and over again? Try Daspletosaurus! Dossier: Daspletosaurus inhabits the hottest ecosystem of Ragnarok: the desert. With their feathered bodies heat doesn´t seem to affect them. More than that, I was able to observe Daspletosaurus half burying themselfs in the sand to take a nap several times. Although Daspltosaurus seems to be quite rare, I could once observe the meeting of two Daspletosaurs. The rather violent fight of the two suggest that they are solitary. At first you might not think so, because Daspletosaurus is not much bigger than Allosaurus, but they are the top of the foog chain. Their small size, compared to their cousins the T-Rex, they make up for with a strong biting force! But they are not really aggressive. Their aggressions seems to be directed only against other Daspletosaurus and their favourite food: ceratopsians. Their neutral nature made me wonder if they could be tamed. During my research I made some very interesting discoveries. Daspletosaurus builds its nests in the desert sand by moistening it with its saliva, creating a kind of clay. This prevents the eggs from getting lost in the sand. At night, the mother lies permanently on top of the eggs so that they do not cool down. I have observed how a mother briefly left the nest to drink and this short moment was apparently sufficient for the eggs to become too cold and the embryos died. Unfortunately, this seems to happen frequently, which probably explains their low numbers on the ark. If only there was some way to help them? Taming: The mother defends the eggs during the day to the blood. Strengthened by the sun and the will to protect her children, other dinos are too afraid to get too close. (daspleto plays a threatening gesture, so that the player knows where the border is. If he crosses it, she roars and creates fear like the yuti, only with 100% direct fear) At night, however, the mother sleeps on her clutch. You can gain her trust by sneaking up on her (ghillie) and dropping a piece of high quality meat from a ceratopsian on the ground in front of her and create distance again. Wait a while until she falls asleep again and repeat the whole process. (again, threatening gesture if you get too close. If you are too close, she stands up and attacks you or fearroars you. in both cases she leaves the nest and the eggs lose 1/3 of their durability (3 chances)). As soon as you earn trust, she puts down her head and opens her mouth. In this mouth you put a piece of meat OR water (0 slot) depending on what she asks for. She swallows and does not put her head down until she is hungry again. You do this until she reaches "Taming" 100%. Once that is reached, you be able to get ONE egg of the clutch. Breeding: Daspletos are breedable. But they ONLY mating in the desert at daytime and their eggs only hatch their too. If a superheat appears, the eggs hatching 5 times faster. non neutered Daspletos are aggressive to each other. You have to turn on mating by the female first, than get the male to her. they will mate and the female will scare away the male after. If the female have cooldown and you put a male to her, they will fight. they will also with other females, so no cluster mating! Abilities: Because Daspleto have a very unique taming and breeding process, they gain several strong abilities to make it worthwhile to tame them. - Can dig itself into the sand and thus protects itself and the rider from sandstorms, super heat and other dangerous weather effectsThey can. - can either create clay passively in inventory or must be set to wander, picks up sand from the ground and spits out clay again (like the achatina) - daspletos do not tolerate conspecifics in the same range as gachas. If two Daspletos get too close, they will attack each other (making them uncryobar in combat would be a consideration) - you can neutere a baby to avoid the aggressions to each other, so you will be able to use them in bossfight. Neutered Daspletos will not draw aggro from other Daspletos! - gets a buff for several real live hours when taking a sand bath. The buff gains damage resistance, a small health reg bonus and better stam reg. - Bonus damage against all ceratopsids and conspecifics. - can lie down to heal a bit quiker - dmg and health reg bonus at super heat and/or in desert biomes Attacks: Left click: Bite (higher base dmg than a rex). If you look infront of you it will normaly bite infront. But if you look back Daspleto will turn like Sarco to bite the enemy behind it. Right click: Tail swipe if you look behind or footstomp if you look infront. Both doing a bit less dmg than the bite but provides a high knockback and slow down enemies. X (single click) - dig in. Can move like Basilisk and Players oxygen drains while burrowed. Click x again to splash out of the sand with a anklebite which do a bit less dmg than the bite but sow down enemies and giving them a bleeding debuff. (digging has a cooldown) Also this attack blends riders with sand in their eyes. Comsume a good amount of stamina when moving under the sand! X (holding) - get ready for a sand bath! Get the Sandbath buff ctrl - Females WITH mating cooldown: Fearroar similiar to Yuti fearroar. Non neuteres males get the courage roar instead alt: Crunch. Higher base dmg than the bite and cause a strong bleeding debuff
