darcek
So another guy asked quite an intresting question in the discord im in,which I dont know exactly, maybe someone can help clear it up please? His question was: Quote If the earth was reseeded, why did they land in another exoplanet? I will add to this, that at the end of Extinction DLC,which is supposed to be on "Old Earth" when you beat the king Titan,Theres wonderfull short video about how the planet is been reseeded and corruption is removed... Then we are moved to a star ship? and then when it blows were ejected to a random near planet? (Arat) Can someone explain these?
Dreadcthulhu
The explanation is that there were two separate projects to save humanity after the titans showed up; the Ark project to maintain life near Earth in hopes of one day cleaning it up, and the Genesis ship project to find a new planet as a back up. There is a good chance that the new DLC map coming with ASA will cover what happens between extinction and the survivors arrival on the Genesis ship.
CervantesMor
To purge the Corruption from the Genesis program, which is actually a "parallel" project to the Arks. When the "Earth Federation" and the "URE" realized that their war would lead to mass extinction on earth, they decided to work together to recover from the disaster they were creating, engaging in "two separate projects": if the "Reseed" project (the Arks) to clean up the Earth fails, the "Genesis" project would remain on its way to a new home. When we complete the "Reseed", Rockwell manages to transfer to the ship "Genesis" (which was already traveling and far away) bringing with him the "Corruption" that would contaminate another planet, we will be transferred there because we Survivors have a duty to prevent it!!

Kinsky
If the element is what causes the corruption of the creatures, and this in turn is used to make tek armor, its prolonged exposure doesn't cause damage to our character.
YUFAT8021
al parecer el elemento es el mal de todo pero sin el no se pueden hacer muchas cosas utiles, asi q creo q aun q se vuelva a replantar la tierra se seguira corrompiendo.
Pipinghot
6 hours ago, Kinsky said: If the element is what causes the corruption of the creatures, and this in turn is used to make tek armor, its prolonged exposure doesn't cause damage to our character. Raw element causes the corruption, armor is made from processed element and the processing makes it harmless to players.
