POD80 Posted November 10, 2020 Share Posted November 10, 2020 All, With the limits on the beginner server I'm using my Ptera allot. One thing I've noted is a tendency for it to get caught in the body of wild dinos, particularly alphas such as carnos. As I'd like to use them to kite such creatures...... this is a rather undesirable trait that I have not noted is sp. Is this an artifact of lag? would turning graphics setting way down help? Cowgirl Posted November 10, 2020 Share Posted November 10, 2020 No, the dinos just stick to one another sometimes, it's really, REALLY annoying. I lost 2 wyverns to sticking. One got stuck in a wild giga and one got stuck enough under water where she couldnt breathe and drowned on my friends water dinos. Argents are known for getting stuck in alpha rexes and I am constantly getting stuck on my argy while on my giga. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zero064 Posted November 11, 2020 Share Posted November 11, 2020 Yea, the Wyvern getting stuck in a Giga thing really sucks. I've had a couple close calls that way. carbonark Posted November 12, 2020 Share Posted November 12, 2020 I’ve lost a few wyverns to alpha carnos because of the issue with getting stuck. I’ve found recently that spamming the pick attack seems a fairly reliable way to escape. When Baryonyx or Carnos attack my Mammoth, they often go underneath it and push it into the sky, it's so weird. The dino collision boxes just don't work well when you need them to.
