Sylic
I'm playing on an official Xbox Ragnarok server and I'm having trouble getting a Wyvern egg. I'm using a Pteradon and the Wyverns are aggroing me before they even get in render range and I cannot outrun them once they do. Does anyone have any tips for this? DownPat
lead them away from the scar and once the deaggro, go back. supposedly they are going to fix the render range
DownPat
and you should be able to outrun them on a ptera, slowly, but it can be done
Balska
Use the traps of the players if they are open, otherwise you can make your own trap pass from one side and then stand out from the other, the wyverns are big. With a ptera having enough stamina you can use the C to gain a few meters quickly. Try to be quick and avoid the wyverns at the time of taking the egg if they turn around. Lancelot
Make them follow you and make a U-turn. When passing Under or over, use C spin. That should get you out of render ranger quick since they have horrible turning speed.
Blobert
the lightning wyverns seem faster than the others. Every ptera I lost was due to one of those. I need to get more griffins but they don't seem to spawn frequently.
Artef
I was never brave enough to do it with pteros, I brought about 4 high level mate boosted argies with a lot of points into health and attack and downed anything that came after me, bring a long neck with a scope with you, if you find a group of drags snipe one and get it to come at you, either take it out or fly off, continue
Zuesneith
Tame a griffin much easier to steal eggs and they are so darn tanky.
Teddansen
Get yourself a throw away tame... take it and one other somewhere near the scar. leave the other bird somewhere close and olace a sleeping bag.. grab an egg with throw away tame fly some place safe and let the wyvern kill you both.. spawn at the other bird fly over grab your stuff say a quick prayer for the dead and be on your mary way. Yep , I'm just being stubborn. I've seen it done on YouTube and yeah it looks way easier then any other way. Especially with a whip
th3d0wnfa11
have tribemates distract the wyverns while you swoop in and nab the egg if you don't want to do it alone...
TheImP
Tame the highest lvl ptera you can get, only lvl the weight up enough to carry you and 1 egg - 1 egg weighs 50. then lvl health a couple - it helps , then bang all the rest of lvls into stamina only. carry absolutely nothing extra with you. jamesthursday
+1 to a griffin and also use cactus broth with a ghillie suit. Have an exit strategy ready and fly low to the ground when you leave if you don't have a griffin.
Jason2017
Griffins are hands down a way better alternative to pteranodons, even with a mastercraft saddle with 69.8 armour my ptera died after 3 lightning blasts from a 55 female and it had 2k health, the griffin can survive atleast 25 of them if they are 130+ kibble tamed; and the kibble is easy to get lol
Jabnlab
Another + 1 for griffin, just make sure you pull altitude and dive right away to pull away from them, without the dive they aren't fast enough
