Dinosaurs

Dinos are great, they've got the goods,

I named my first one Slate, he was tamed in the woods,

Roaring and stomping its not all that they do,

be careful where you stand, because they really like to poo!

My mate @Rippy and I, fly on our dinos in the sky,

avoiding the water, where we're likely to die.

Ark is a wonderful place, with many stories to be told,

raiding from the True Blue server, uploading all the goods that we hold.

When it comes time to finish for the night,

Always leave your character safe from the deadly dino's plight.

Pteranodon

My pteranodon, Pete, keeps me off my feet,

When im hording materials, their quality elite,

He allows me fly, high above the palm fronds,

Escaping the danger of being eaten by a Megalodons,

Pete and I are the sharpest arrows in the sky,

Killing the Meganeura as the attempt to fly by,

His purple hide, empowering to say the least,

nothing will ever come next to this endangered flying beast.

Old ARK Donald

Old ARK Donald, built a glorious farm,

Lined up around his base, doing the surroundings around no harm,

Settled in his plots are some crops of Nacro Berries,

Irrigation transferred to them like people upon ferries,

Collecting their ware to give his Dinos a fill,

Even selling a couple stacks to his freindly neighbour, Bill.

With the eventual plan to make some Mind Tonics,

The first step is to build a glasshouse, better growing with hydroponics,

Old ARK Donald, drought be his only befell,

Could this man be, the descent of Rockwell?

Tranq Arrows

Im not sure how to make them,

From my ingame mate @RippyI take em',

Shooting dinos that fly in sky,

the narcotics ensuring that they wont die,

Knocked out, unable to glide,

You must ensure to be straight by their side,

Feeding them delicous berries and meat,

Running out of unconciousness is the ultimate defeat,

Equip a saddle, press 'E' to mount,

Your dino has been tamed, upkeep is paramount.

Cloth Hats

Said to be the best way to earn lower level XP,

The engram for cloth hats is something of envy,

Warm during winter and breathable in summer,

Without a cloth hat, your life is a bit of a bummer,

My mate Leon, together with @Rippy,

Made so many hats, most went to the tippy,

10 fiber is their only crafting material,

When dyed with Royal Purple, they look quite ethereal,

Making cloth hats is the best a noob can do,

the only other thing to learn is to press Z to poo.

Survive The ARK

ARK Announcements and General Discussion,

I once even posted in a thread that I believe to be Russian,

With hints and tips for the old and new,

When you tag someone in a post, their name becomes highlighted with blue,

A recent post by @SupaBat1003, inquiring about the hours that people play,

My favorite Moderator @ciabattarollbeat my mate @Rippy by an entire day,

Some fantastic dossiers created by @Kaprodonychusreside within the creative,

Finding a tribe in the fourms is easy, compiled in a list so you can find one thats native,

Refreshing the pages, awaiting all that is new,

I enjoy looking at the screenshots, like the Yellow Sky and the bird that once flew.

Thank you @Kaprodonychus, I used real life experiances to influence my writing. A few undertones may be present, let me know if you find them!

Do you enjoy poetry too? Feel free to post your own!

@Rippy is working on one as we speak.

I did poetry for school years ago. Got an A for it too. I don't think I have those poems nor do I think that I'm good at them anymore xD

Im glad to hear that there is another poetry enthusiast on the fourms @Kaprodonychus, espcially one who achieve such great grades. I myself can probably learn from you.

I did it in grade 7 xD Hardly the poems of legends. We simply had to chose a type of poem and write stuff about it

Scorpions

In my reality they do not exist,

In ark they roam by your side, my perception in a twist,

Claws of crabs, beady eyes, and legs of spiders,

One attempted to strike my Trike in the dark of night, the only safety was to hide her.

In my dreams they are a figment of warped imagination,

But they rear their ugly heads during my nightmare's, with their stinging contagion,

@FireStormRising dislikes their chittering,

Myself I cringe at their nattering and twittering,

A plan of action must be created,

To wipe them from the Earth, their presence is hated.

Who will stand with me in this Crusdade?

I call all my brothers to pull out their sharpest blade,

For the fate of the Scorpion is about to be made.

I love your poem and I'm flattered to be included......and now I'm going to have nightmares about chittering pinchy things.  Thanks. Lol.

Teeth - Haiku

Hiding from a Carnosaurs, away from his sight,

I make my peace,

My life departed.

Hey @Trentifus, good first attempt at a Haiku, but I just want to point out that it is meant to be 5 syllables for the first line, 7 for the second line, and then 5 again for the last line.

Still a good poem, just not a haiku.

Thank you for the support Mr. Rippleton,

I appreciate your guidance in the structure of Haiku, however I was using the Croatian variation which came to be during the 1633 revolution. Charles Speclaz (RIP) created the variation, the first of its kind since its inception in Japan.

May I ask how your attempt at poetry is going? I can only imagine, based on the artistic flair that you used to create your motif, that it will be of high quality.

Rippy - My Mate IRL

The name of a god, who will never grow old,

A beardless face, but a stare nothing but bold,

The guidance he provides on the fourms, literal gold,

All of his knowledge is free for all to behold.

@Rippy, taming dinos at his feet,

At level 90 his status is elite,

There is no enemy that can avoid his defeat,

His son plays the wardrums at a clear and steady beat.

Trenching through the dark and gloomy cave,

Only accessed by those that are considered brave,

He slashes and carves the dinos, turning them like wood on a lathe,

If you ever cross him, be sure to give him a kind wave,

Or you will find yourself buried in an unmarked, early grave.
