  3. do they really think people are so stupid to buy premium mods? Any modder who does this will be seen as awful.

  5. Lightening is the strongest of all of them. I have no luck with poison wyvern, somehow manage to kill myself when using its poison attack, bounces off a rock and kills me. The fire wyvern is okay but definitely would breed Lightenings for their power.

  8. Giga TLC: Stat changes: HP: Reduced from 80000 to 2300. No longer loses a large amount of HP on tame. Torpor: Reduced from 10000 to 2000. Damage: Reduced from 500 to 100. No longer loses 80% melee damage on tame. All stats now level-up at normal rates. New attacks: LMB is still the bite, 100 base damage. Wild Gigas now prioritize this over the gnash attack. RMB is still the roar, but it now inflicts a Yuty-style fear debuff on dinos with a drag weight that is below 700. It also stuns humans for 10 seconds. It has a 20-second cooldown and can't be used with insufficient stamina. C-key is now a tail slam! This has a base damage of 150 and has a high knockback. Use this to hit enemies that are trying to exploit the Giga's turning circle. It has a 10-second cooldown and can't be used with insufficient stamina. X-key is now the gnash attack. Finally, your tamed Giga can inflict the gnash! It also has a base damage of 130. It has a 5-second cooldown and can't be used with insufficient stamina. Unlike the normal bite, this also stops movement and can't destroy stone structures. Spacebar is now a stomp. This deals 200 base damage and slows enemies down massively. It deals 2x damage toward targets with a drag weight below 300. It has a 10-second cooldown and can't be used with insufficient stamina. Rage Rework: If you are riding a Giga that starts raging, you are no longer dismounted. Instead, it causes the Giga to uncontrollably attack everything and anything in sight. While raging, it will sometimes try to shake off the rider. Pressing the spacebar during the first 3 seconds of the animation will prevent you from being thrown off and stunned. If the Giga gets the "Enflamed!" debuff, or any other percentage-based-HP-drain debuff, it will now instantly rage. Taming Rework: Tranquilizers no longer deal torpor to Gigas. To KO Gigas now, you must shoot catapults at its head. It also does not gain affinity from any kind of normal, fish, or cooked meat. Its preferred kibble was also changed from Exceptional to Extraordinary. That means it only tames on Extraordinary Kibble, Raw Mutton, or Raw Prime Meat. Carcha/Golem Rework: Carcha: HP reduced from 70000 to 2100 (No longer gets an HP nerf on tame). Torpor reduced from 6000 to 3000. Damage reduced from 211 (Bite) and 384 (Tailspin) to 75 (Bite) and 60 (Tailspin). No longer gets a nerf on tame. All stats now level-up at normal rates. Due to the nerf, Carchas now require 50% less affinity and gain 2x affinity from each kill in "Friend Mode", effectively making the taming process 4x faster. This is because max-level Carchas will only have around 10500-12600 HP (compared to 71000+ HP) on average and could die really fast to some dinos. Golem: HP reduced from 25000 to 3000 (No longer gets an HP nerf on tame). Rubble Golem HP reduced from 4000 to 1200. Torpor reduced from 5000 to 2000. Weight increased from 660 to 1700. It also reduces the weight of most mineral materials (Stone, Metal, Crystal, etc.) by 75%. Golems are now immune to bleed effects. Each Golem variant now has a weakness (takes 2x damage from attacks of those types): Rock, Chalk, and Rubble Golems: Lightning Wyvern Breath (In the lore, a Lightning Wyvern easily killed a Golem) Ice Golem: Flame Attacks (Can now get "Enflamed!" debuff) X-Golem: Water Attacks (Also loses 25 HP per second while in water) The rock attack of Ice Golems now freezes the target solid. The rock attack of X-Golems now sets the target on fire. Ice and Chalk Golems can now be transferred between maps.
  9. Been diving into wyvern breeding recently and am unsure which variant I want to pursue, so I thought I'd ask you guys. I'm on pvp smalls console only. Usually a Griffin main myself, so I dont have a ton of pvp experience with wyverns. Please explain WHY you like a particular variant.
  10. I'll say a prayer for the PC crowd but on ps5 it actually runs and looks great. There have been a multiple times over the past few days on SE where I've actually stopped to marvel at how good the game looks. When you're flying by an obelisk at night and the surrounding area is bathed in the glow of it, the game just looks gorgeous. I've been as critical of WC as anyone else but I've been truly enjoying the game lately. Its got its hooks in me again. Maybe its down to the increased power of the ps5 because on ps4 ASE ran like garbage from day 1 until the end. I would get constant stutters and frame drops. On ps5 its buttery smooth. I guess WC just sucks at PC optimization.
  11. In the end it happened... good for them, they deserved the fame, who knows if other mods will be canonized one day...
  12. Tek transmitter should have a show range function for the bossfights. Gigantopithecus should be able to pick up nearby shoulderpets when not ridden. There should be a craftable stand where shoulderpets could be placed. Pretty small things but could probably be appreciated by many
  13. Go to all maps in the tab and it should pop up, mine did instantly as the gentleman above suggested
  14. I don't understand why Wildcard completely ignore people complaining about optimizations in this game, here but also in Steam, the only PC platform where they sell the game, the reviews page is a blood bath. Not even a Twitter/X post to say that they heard players and will address those issues. I bought ASA in EA day one to actually support the studio, not played much because of immersion breaking perfs issues and when we bring feedback we're getting ignored. Don't count on me to buy any DLC nor Ark 2 if things don't change. I love this game, so sad things turned that way....
  15. please add more meglosaur to island caves and make hgihter level a bit more common i never see anything over 80. please make chainsaw bp easyer to find on se. iv been grinind the cave sence day 2 and iv yet to find one from any drop even red cave ones.

  17. Anti-consumer behavior from a consumer. Humans are awesome.
  18. The reason I haven't done the Thorny Dragon yet is because I just started Scorched Earth Ascended (I wanted to completely conquer the Island first), and wanted to wait until I had some time to experience the new features. I'll probably start a new topic dealing specifically with Scorched Earth (both with the SE specific creatures, and with some from the Island that would need updated thanks to the new map and - with it - new resources). I do have a list started for it, but I want to put in some more thought into what makes them special when paired up with other creatures; and even when transferring them from other ARK's. I didn't include the Carno, mostly because I wasn't sure what to do with it. I couldn't find anything that suggested the Carno's horns would have been used for anything other than a mating display, and it received the modest ability to deal Bleed damage with it's bite/headbutt. This makes them ideal for witling down the health on the massive percentage-based tame creatures like Rhyniognatha (just gotta be careful to have a bigger mount on standby) and later for Reaper Queens once Aberration Ascended comes out. The horns might find more practical use, but that would require moving them from their current position (given they're too close to the eyes to absorb any real shock) and making them bigger and more akin to actual horns, and as I mentioned, I'm trying to avoid fashion changes to dinos. I tend to use the Carno as an all-round stepping stone mount when I upgrade my hunting dinos (from Dilo, to Raptor, to Carno, to Allos), since they're bleed affect inflicts a slow, and a small troop of them is great for taking down decent-sized but higher-leveled herbivores (granted, that was more for Ragnarok in OG Ark, when the average level of wild dinos was much higher).
  19. 🥳 Oh that will be interesting cause while others have had spawn issues with not enough I have had slight overspawn, once I was fighting 5 of them at once LOL but I am kind of cheesing it (SP just for kicks) so it was not deadly thankfully.

  22. Hi, I'm writing to put in a suggestion for large bases, the lighting is just too low on all the current lights, you need hundreds of them to light a large base adequately. I would like to see some sort of flood light that can be put on a ceiling to light up a large base to reduce how many normal lights are needed. regards T3RMINA1
