And Nitrado? I dont like Nitrado, I tried them, got bad service, and moved my server over to HostHavok, good service, and later went with BluefangSolutions, also good service imo.

Are the files also available via BlueFangSolutions or HostHavok?

The problem I have is the half truths they have given us once again. Like they should have stated that it would only be available through renting a server with nitrado from the get go. They made it sound like we could use those save files on our own server where we didn't have to rent one.

Official time as stated, and no servers are up. I didn't expect to see anything up instantly anyway, but still.

10:05 Pm and servers are not live. :'(

Staying awake all night for this was not a good idea....xD

I assume like when they reset servers, there's that 15 minute window... but I'm having doubts that they will be up instantly. They said over the next 24 hours they will roll out servers... whatever that means. I think it means they have an extra day to figure things out and we don't have a real release time.

Waiting for it to drop..  been up all night waiting.

The very first sentence of this thread (emphasis added): "The Day One patch will be set live across all platforms at approximately 8-9AM EST and should show up on all consoles within the hour."

It is 8:15AM, well within their 8-9 window. If they're not up by 9AM, I'll be back with a dictionary definition of "approximately" for you confused children/whiners. The mayhem will begin shortly, don't fret.

There's a nuance between 'putting things on hold for you' and not being supportive - to put it mildly - to people that've been supporting and helping the game the out EA for ages. Just because you don't care or care little about your dinos and base doesn't mean you should project that on people that worked long and hard on things like color/stat mutations (or how about both those on giga's, not me personally but I know people like that).. imagine having that and a short (damn feeding ugh) vacation only to find the 5 day notice. 

That it's not your position when you don't care about your stuff doesn't mean you can't take it into account before airing sentiment of 'who cares, it's EA'

 btw..  did you ever try moving even a fraction of a base to another server, pff i've spend days moving my med base and everything useful in it once and that was still within the same server just 3/4 across the island. Not just saying they could have made that easier with at least a list of servers that will stay a longer time in advance but even if they released that list days earlier you'd have to find a plot first somewhere (good luck there already.. ), the further from obis the longer the move will take etc. heck some servers may have space deep inland but a mess of bases to navigate around first at obi, I'm glad I could move some things from the SE I'm on that will be axed to the island i'm on that won't get axed (today at least,but nobody can guarantee that won't change).

People like you, have far too high of an expectation when buying games in Early Access/Game Preview. You treat it as a finished product and you have a sense of self entitlement that is off the charts. All you do is making demands for yourselves on behalf of everyone, when in truth, you only care about your own needs and wants.

With 30 days to move, you have plenty of time.

If this was ANY other developer, you wouldn't even get a day, you'd get nothing, except a game where 100% of the content gets wiped.

Care? Why on earth would i care about stuff i've gathered, built and tamed during Alpha and Beta in a game that has been in development for the past two years and four months?

Clearly you and everyone else who complain about this never bothered reading the EULA/TOS when buying the game.

They are not obligated to keep any servers running, and may terminate their servers, and services, without warning.

People did get a warning.

Your arguments, like the rest of this vocal minority's arguments, are moot, at best.

Woot @GP you are now my favorite person!!!!!  Now if only you can convince them to offer premium paid official servers then I would love you forever!

If the wiped servers are available only through renting a server, why was the community told they would have the ability to download and re-host the files for their own use, implying you could host them on your own private server?
