i tried 3 server official and even suicided and respawned to find my self in players bases that have been built surrounding spawn points ...this happened on 3 servers 3 times this was in the easy area spawns this is not going to encourage new players when this happens over and over , especially if they die and respawn inside players bases

cant work out how to apply glass , skins are fine just cant work out how to apply glass skins

its like it with low player count , 36 /70 and rubberbanding and laggy , its not all down to player count , the servers are screwey along with the game code

wont mnake any difference server im on lag is there wether 20 plaYERS OR 60

which ends up as chicken and egg scenario , bad servers = players complaining , other potential new players hear this and decide not to buy . therefore costing wildcard money , lots play on unnoficial server yes , but there is a risk they will just vanish without notice , so official players feel safer in their time investment and these are the players more likely to spend money on dlc and other items and hang around longer, so it makes more sense for wildcard to ensure the official servers are running lag free and smooth .

was reduced to help server performance . all its done is annoy everyone , hunting dinos in a game where u cant see them , game should have been called where's wally the dino

err dinos used be seen at double or more (dont remember the exact distance) as standard , it was reduced to 60 for supposed server performance

let me finish that sentance correctly , "failed to acheive this as servers performance has gotten worse and worse with each patch" if im sub 100 ping then why am i lagging / rubberbanding . having delays opening closing doors , inventory return dino view distance it isnt helping and or made any difference to server performance ,

any news anywhere of if they are intending to revert this change ? as its making the DINO HUNTING experience a chore

shame to have to use low to get any time without crashing , as the game looks gorgeous in full epic, adding tot his a lot pf players can play on high / epic , so wildcard need to sort it as a priority really....

as title , this game is the only one i own that crashes, doesnt what games i play no issues in any game , this game no matter the tweaks or graphic settings it crashes regularly and randomly, from during start up , to loading into game , to 2 mins into game to 2 hours into game , there is no way of telling when or why it will crash there has been no word from wildcard on if they are even properly looking in to why so many players are having MAJOR crash issues , leaving them unable to properly enjoy the game ...

its ridiculous , i spotted a spino, now these are large dinos ,how it moving away a few feet makes it vanish ????? how can we hunt dinos ,in a dino hunting game if we cant see them until they are right on top of us ?? so as title when is the render range coming back ? and was it changed to a silly low range because of consoles ? if it was shouldnt it be an option depending on hardware limitations and up to the users?

it fixed itself , early evening i was able to log in again as usual , from googling i found that the crashes especially if you have lots , can end up leaving your account / char in limbo , as if its connected , all you can do is wait it out and try every couple of hours ,

it is , when its running right , full epic @70-90 fps the game looks glorious ,early days ran fine , with each patch they push out makes it worse , makes me wonder what specs the devs tested the game on ....

ANNOYING that players post not crashing on older hardware , steaM deck runs fine ,my 7 year old GAMING laptop , with tweaks runs fine no crashes , my new high end i9 4080 crashes due to driver errors
