Bushes Keep Spawning In My Base

Is there any reason that these bushes keep on spawning in my base?  

Playing singleplayer.

Me as well - makes my beautiful base look a bit run down.

From what I can see on the second screenshot, it would seem you built on pillars. Pillars don't block resource respawn, that's why bushes keep reappearing. Harvest them again, then either attach a second foundation to that thatch one, or, if ground's height allows it, replace a few ceilings with foundations. That should stop them from respawning.

You used to be able to snap a ladder on the pillars to stop resource spawns  (only about a foundations distance though), not sure if this still works as I haven't built on pillars for a long time 

 

If resources are growing through a foundation, then it is the 'resource respawn' setting (higher it in the world settings, before you start your Sp game), and then pick the bush and it shouldn't grow back

Usually ceilings/foundations have a respawn block radius of ~5 (on official).

So it must be a single player setting or a mod.

It also happens in another part of my base, a spot that is built on foundations.
