Harun677
255 Mutation Cap Leveling Stopped. Hi, I am playing on an unofficial server and reached 255 base stat on a Theri but found I couldn't manually level it anymore with xp. I have a friend who has 254 in a stat and can level it 200 times manually (server settings) with xp. Does this mean when a stat is 255 it cannot be leveled anymore and has to be less than 255 base to level it with xp? I know that if you level it past 255 it gets reset to 0. Is there a way around this? Would this be a server setting? Thanks
Aikar
This would be due to the games code. If a stat uses a single byte, 255 is the max value it can hold and can not be changed by any config.

I think you mean if a 'stat' uses a single byte, correct? 8 bits representing a single value between 0-

Volunteer Moderator Joebl0w13 Posted June 4, 2019 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted June 4, 2019 Wouldn't take much to pop into the dev kit and see if the stats are of primitive type (byte, short, int...). A lot of the game by now is custom c++ and that source is not included in the dev kit obviously.
