Clever Foreshadowing or Laziness?

I came across this article and thought it was interesting. It’s from December, so a lot of people have probably already read it.

Basically, while on the menu for Atlas, you can scroll down past the exit menu option and press A. When you do this it opens up the Ark menu and a map appears under “Story Arks” titled Ocean. Clicking takes you to Atlas however.

Do you think they intentionally designed it this way as a clue to an upcoming water based DLC? Or where they just lazy or missed this?

Just missed it im sure. I wouldnt get your hopes up unless Atlas bombs more than it has.

This has been known about for quite a long time.  It has been thoroughly discussed, and people have fleshed out a basic timeline.  Atlas was supposed to be a special ARK gameplay mode, and instead of that, they changed the development to make Atlas its own thing, on a bigger scale.

Naah.  This analogy is a bit off good sir.  It is more like comparing Coke to Sprite, within the Coca-Cola Corporation.  WildCard and Grapeshot have different names, but are two sides of the same coin overall.  They are sister companies, and you sure as hell wouldn't say the same about PepsiCO and Coca-Cola.
