Quote They are capable of damaging structures, but they’re only intense in certain areas of certain biomes. Building permanent bases there is not advised! From what I've seen thus far most of the areas folks would want to build are safe from structure damage during earthquakes. I haven't built in every area to figure out which are the safest, but in my experience it becomes pretty obvious when you get to a place that isn't safe to build.
