Most Efficient Way of Taming Griffin's

Title. Can anyone share the most effective way of taming a griffin? Thanks

8 Stone Foundations: Lay a 2x4 stone foundation footprint. 
2 Stone Dino Gatways/Gateway Doors: Place them on either end of your 2x4
24 Stone Doorframes: Set your doorways 3 walls high on the left and right side of your 2x4
8 Stone Ceilings: Make a roof

Put this taming pen (or whatever other taming pen shape you like, so long as it has a roof) near an area with consistent Griffin spawns, there are a couple good spots on the various hills in the beaver santuary area of Rag.
Open one gate and close the other if you're on foot or on a Ptera. (If you're on an argent, leave the 2nd door open and be ready to close it quickly.
Get the attention of a Griffin and have it follow you into the pen. (If you're using a Ptera, you can leave a wall and a ceiling missing so you can fly right out when it follows you in.)
As soon as the Griffin is in the pen, dismount your tame just outside the pen, it will stay aggroed on your tame. Trap the griffin by closing the other gate.
Shoot it with darts until it falls over.
Shove mutton down it's throat until it wakes up.

Ultimately, the shape of the taming pen doesn't matter...whatever works best for you...but the tactic remains the same: Lure it into a trap, trap it, tranq it, profit.

Well, just place 3-4 gateways so ptera could fit between frames and 2 gates. Bait tha chicken.Close door. Dart its ass. profit.

You get a higher tame effeciency if you tell it stories while it's unconscious.

Build a 3x3 pen (you technically only need two rows of three foundations separated by a one-foundation space). Place a single stack of four doorframes on one side, two stacks of four doorframes on each orthogonal side, and leave the parallel side open. Put a ceiling on top; you can leave the center ceiling out. Hop on a Pteranodon and get the aggro of your desired Griffin, then fly around and lead it into the pen. If you have a tribe mate, they can easily pop up a stack of four doorframes to trap the Griffin; otherwise, you'll need to do it yourself, in which can I suggest "priming" your trap by building up two doorframes before leading in the Griffin.
 

Either way, once it's trapped, easy KO. Use Narcoberries to keep the Torpor up, and unless you have Kibble on hand, I'd advise Prime over Mutton to maximize your levels
