  • ARK Survival Evolved for Mobile!

    We’re very excited to announce that the world of ARK: Survival Evolved is coming to mobile! Thanks to the efforts of veteran mobile developer War Drum Studios (the team behind the mobile versions of Bully, Grand Theft Auto, and Auralux), gamers will be able to join the massively multiplayer survival experience that is ARK right from their mobile devices!

    All gameplay footage for this trailer was recorded live using an iPhone 8.

    Designed and developed by War Drum Studios, ARK: Survival Evolved mobile is free-to-play and puts the dino-taming adventure in the palm of your hand, letting you join forces with tens of thousands of other mobile survivors. This on-the-go version of ARK features the online survival experience contained in the PC and console versions of ARK, including a gigantic island to explore, 80+ dinosaurs and primeval creatures to tame and train, multiplayer tribe mechanics, and of course, crafting and building! 

    Mobile features include:

    • Taming: Use cunning strategy and tactics to befriend, ride and breed the many dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the dynamic, persistent ecosystems across land, sea, air, and even underground. 
    • Discover: Unearth rare blueprints and Explorer Notes written by previous human denizens of the ARK from across the millennia, detailing the mysterious Island’s creatures and backstory. 
    • Craft and build: Using any means necessary - survive, craft weapons, clothes, and items, and build shelters, villages, or even large cities. 
    • Plant, harvest, build, level-up, and customize everything visually and functionally, including procedurally-generated RPG statistics for creatures, characters, resources, clothing, gear, and weapons, both primitive and modern.
    • Play alone or team up to survive: Team up with, or prey on, up to 50 other players in a large-scale multiplayer online first-person environment, or choose single player mode to test your mettle against the world solo.
    • Join a tribe: The 'Tribe' system encourages cooperation, by supporting dynamic parties to share resources, experience points, and re-spawn points.

    While maintaining the true ARK experience players have come to know and love, this mobilized version of the game has been completely adapted for handheld touch devices allowing for the ultimate survival experience on a mobile device. This includes faster paced gameplay, a unique user interface and a specialised control setup developed specifically for the mobile game. 

    The mobile version also offers optional upgrades survivors can acquire using special in-game resources that will allow players to progress faster, obtain certain buffs for periods of time, build special crafting structures, and even bring your beloved tames back from the dead!

    This will be pretty neat to check out. Although, I really don't need to add to my ARK addiction lol. Would be cool if it was crossplay. Imprints from anywhere would be awesome lol.

    If the game requires 3gb of ram to run, how am I able to play it on my iPad 5th gen that only has 2gb of ram? Is it 3gb of ram for both android and iOS devices or just on android?

    Please work on Glitches and Bugs not adding ark on the phone. Without a doubt Ark: Survival Evolved is one of my favourite all-time game but is still far from perfect.:|

    War Drum Studios is developing the Mobile game, not Wildcard.

    Yeah... I have over 2k hours on pc on official servers. I have been waiting to get picked for weeks now. Will be streaming this game and definitely going to be looking to tribe up and create a mega tribe on mobile. Anybody that is very experienced with the game and is looking to have a place in my tribe just friend me and send me a message with what you like to do in the tribe such as breeding or farming or building etc and how much experience you have.

    in apps ... why is this free ? what is different? the game is 60$ on pc so something must of been changed to allow this free on mobile.. timers?

    It’s a mobile game, it’s going to be free because most of the people playing on mobile are probably going to be kids and won’t be able to pay $60 for a game, it’s mobile marketing, same reason PUBG on mobile is free but it’s $30 on Xbox and PC.

    My name is sudheesh, i am an indian and i have watch this game, gameplay on YouTube i just love it and i am eagerly waiting to play this game on my mobile. I have some questions please reply me with answer.

    1.can i abel to play this game on my lenevo vibe k5 note(4gb ram) mobile.

    2.can you guys please tell me the release date of the game  on Android.I can't wait to play this game on my mobile cause i don't have pc or ps or xbox.and i was very happy when listen that the game will be released on android.
