^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The abberant biome at the heart of Valguero has infected the deep sea trench altering microscopic life. Introducing the Hydra Vulgaris. Bioelectric Entangler Not too dissimilar to the Tusoteuthis or Deathworm, the Hydra Vulgaris is actually related to Cnidaria. Like its brethren, it can produce bio electricity which it can use to incapacitate and finish any foes with its tentacles. Smaller creatures can even be grabbed and immobilized until inevitable death. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Super-charged When the Hydra Vulgaris gets around any other form of bio electricity it becomes temporarily super charged! This gives it new abilities like lightning armor as well as an electric pulse attack that stuns, damages enemies and disables Tek. Taming Generally found hanging off the sea floor, the Hydra Vulgaris is too aggressive to be tamed. However, a survivor brave enough might be able to cut free one of its spawns for raising. Tullimonstrum: The Benevolent Beast of the Abyss
GrognakVaultTek posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Wild The Tullmonstrum is a curious and versatile aquatic creature often found gliding gracefully through shallow rivers, coastal waters, and submerged caves. With its elongated, flexible body and bioluminescent stripes, it resembles ancient depictions of mythical sea beasts. Despite its intimidating appearance, this creature is surprisingly gentle and will only become aggressive if threatened. One of the most remarkable behaviors of the Tullmonstrum is its unique ability to latch onto other creatures. This adaptation is believed to be both defensive and symbiotic, depending on the circumstance. In the wild, they often cling to larger aquatic predators, either leeching toxins into aggressors or offering curative properties in symbiosis with peaceful herbivores. Domesticated Domestication of the Tullmonstrum has proven invaluable for those venturing into both aquatic and terrestrial environments. With proper care and bonding, these creatures become rideable mounts, offering unparalleled maneuverability underwater and surprising agility on land. Survivors have discovered that the Tullmonstrum can be trained to utilize its latching abilities strategically in combat scenarios. When commanded, it can clamp onto hostile creatures, injecting a potent venom that paralyzes and weakens its prey. Alternatively, it can exude a bioluminescent healing mist to mend the wounds of nearby allies. Abilities Latching Grip: The Tullmonstrum can attach itself to other creatures, even large ones, remaining secure while moving through harsh conditions. Venomous Embrace: When hostile, it releases a paralyzing toxin that disrupts enemy mobility and causes lasting damage. Bioluminescent Balm: When commanded, the Tullmonstrum emits a soothing mist that rapidly heals nearby allies. Rideable: Its sleek body and strong musculature allow for swift travel across water and surprising terrestrial agility. Taming Method Taming a Tullmonstrum requires patience and a gentle approach. Survivors often find success by passively feeding it bioluminescent plants or rare fish. Sudden movements or aggression will provoke it, making taming far more difficult. Trivia The glowing stripes along its body pulse rhythmically, signaling its current state of aggression or health. Its flexible appendages can grip tightly enough to withstand high-pressure underwater currents. Some tribes worship the Tullmonstrum as a symbol of balance between destruction and healing.- 3 replies

Ctenochasma - Portable Trough & Taming Boost Fisher
Biguds posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Posting on behalf of my friend WynBird Introducing Ctenochasma! Capable of storing food in its throat pouch for later retrieval, Cteno works like a portable feeding trough to keep tames fed while on the move. Digestive enzymes in the gullet make food held by it more nutritious, Cteno is also able to feed nearby tames in progress with a boost to taming efficiency. (i.e. whatever food it's feeding, there is a small additional buff to that food's taming efficiency. Kibble will always be best, but this way you can have Kibble+) Tech-tier saddle can make food held by Cteno refrigerated for extra efficient storage! Cteno gets a damage bonus when fighting fish, making it extra-efficient at killing things like rays, sharks, and xiphactinus This prehistoric pelican is a master fisherman. Catching fish with it rewards extra goodies like fishing with a rod. (Maybe a minigame similar to fishing but... less frustrating? maybe the quality of your catch depends on how well you guide your Cteno, but you're guaranteed more loot than just killing the fish yourself) Able to follow you anywhere, Cteno is equipped for aquatic life and can dive deep underwater in search of prey, using its wings as fins Image comes with suggested color pattern based off Kingfishers + regions that would be mutatable! Zygophyseter --> Takes buffs under the sea
Abaddon23 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Zygophyseter: We get a creature for the land part and we get one for the air, what ist missing? Yes the sea, so we need a creature for the sea Discriptionof Zygophyseter from Wikipedia: Zygophyseter varolai is an extinct sperm whale that lived during the Tortonian age of the Late Miocene 11.2 to 7.6 million years ago. It is known from a single specimen from the Pietra Leccese Formation in Italy. It was a member of a stem group of fossil macroraptorial sperm whales (often shortened to "raptorial") also including Brygmophyseter, Acrophyseter, and Livyatan. It probably grew to be around 6.5 to 7 meters (21 to 23 ft) in length and shared some characteristics with other raptorials, such as large teeth with tooth enamel that were functional in both the upper and lower jaws which the modern sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) lacks. It also had a beak, the ability to echolocate prey, and could have probably swum faster than the modern-day sperm whale which can reach 4 kilometers per hour (2.5 mph). These were probably used in the capture of large prey, such as large fish, seals, and whales. In fact, its common name, the killer sperm whale, refers to its feeding habits that would have had a resemblance to the modern-day killer whale (Orcinus orca). To this description he needs his sounds like a yuti, you can buff or debuff sea creatures. 1. dmg buff 2. tank buff 3. speed buff 4. scare buff 5 echo sounder He is stronger in a pack, he needs his family and they can kill everyone together in the sea! Taming: He swim in a pack with babys, you must tame the baby of the group. You put Basilo Blubber of the "0" in the inventory and feed the baby the Blubber. oh i find my old post from the last vote: The archaeologists have find new discoveries about the Zygophyseter: He is the the killer whale of the old times, his passive is predator of the sea: If he swims around in 3 groups, other water animals dont attack him except Tuso and Mosa. And he make 1,5x more damage vs a Tuso. His other passive is intilligent predator: If he eats jellyfish or eels he can make shocking bite attacks on others, but he is immune to it. Sea view: his rider sees everything clear and bright in the deap sea. left klick: bite with passive (intilligent predator) right klick: headbutt -> he can make his opponent drowsi x- klick: flippers blow -> beats with his fin and can hit rider down c- klick: call buffs Call buffs: you have many call buffs with the Zygo and can swap the calls with the R like the new Tek-bow. But every call have a cooldown. And you can call only one buff. echo sounder: can uncover all livings being like the Para, you can also see how far away the animal or person is. heal call: can only be used with Zygo groups, you can heal all group member. damage call: all buffed animal get a damage buff. attackspeed call: all buffed animal get a attackspeed buff. tank call: all buffed animal get a tank buff, he get a fewer damage from opponents. slow call: all debuffed opponents are slower down. confusion call: all debuffed opponents are confused and swim awy. Their saddle is similar to the Roll Rat saddle, where the dome-shield is furled up until the player mounts the Zygo. Then, it unfolds and completely encases the player, protecting it from firearms, creatures that dismount the player (Cnidaria, Microraptor, Kaprosuchus, etc.) Underwater, the dome makes it so that the player will not lose oxygen while mounted, but will not replenish oxygen should the player dismount underwater, similar to the Andrewsarchus minigun saddle. His smart aura gives you (when you are in the water with him) 100% crafting skill efficiency, for a certain time!!! Form many Ideas feel free and write your ideas under the post I hope you like this creature and vote him up for the better sea in ARK -
>>>Timonya (ancient salamander or ancient axolotl???)<<<
AzulongM0N posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Timonya is an extinct genus of Temnospondyl caudate amphibian represented by the type species Timonya anneae from the Early Permian of Brazil. It was probably a small aquatic predator that inhabited lakes and swamps during the Early Permian. The center of tetrapod diversity was in the equatorial regions of the supercontinent Pangea, and Timonya was part of this fauna. This cute, strange-shouldered creature, which looks like a small mix of Diplocaulus and Kaprosuchus (between 30 and 40 centimeters long), with the gills of an axolotl on its head. It is a species of salamander that does not develop in the larval stage, remaining in this state even as an adult and only undergoes metamorphosis when it receives the necessary hormones from others of its species. They are good at swimming fast but very slow on land, they are friendly to players but hostile to fish like coelacanths, and they have enormous regeneration. This creature is very rare and popular among survivors due to its very useful abilities, especially because it is a lucky charm capable of improving the survivor's looting and crafting skills! Features: - they have several different colors ranging from the most common (Pink, Black...) to the rarest (... Green, Gold); - Wild Timonyas release hormones that in a certain quantity and from a certain level can be used to force the metamorphosis of your domesticated "axolotl"; - they can breathe in and out of water, but they need humidity to not dry out, so it's a good idea to have plenty of water in your inventory; - even wild axolotls regenerate very quickly, so to kill them you need to be "strong and fast"; - they are immune to torpor and due to their slippery body they are not hit by arrows or claws; Skills: - Healer: While on the Survivor's shoulder, grants a small bonus to Stamina health regeneration; - Itemfinder: gets agitated near loot; - Flashbang: when attacked, generates a flash that scares and briefly blinds any nearby creature, even its owner, unless it is on its shoulder (this ability prevents attacks, especially those from Purlovia, Thylacoleo, Raptor, Baryonyx...) ; - Larval Phase: can generate light like other luminous creatures, however, this light grants the status of “Luck” to everyone it illuminates. This “luck” generates a chance to improve its owner's fabrications according to their manufacturing skill, in addition to being able to improve loot, whether from Air drops or creatures, making, for example, a normal pickaxe or saddle become ascendant ( leaving a certain glow on upgraded items to show that they have been changed); - Salamander Phase: when it undergoes metamorphosis and assumes its adult salamander form, it transforms into a shoulder-bearing creature, similar to the sinomacrops, improving its swimming instead of flying! Its light changes and instead of granting "luck" it starts giving a small XP bonus to everything it illuminates (similar to, but better than, a lytrosaurus); -Underwater Collector: when it is in the water, in its adult form (like a salamander), it automatically farms the same resources as the beaver house such as cement, rare flower and mushroom, silica pearl, as well as black pearl! Domestication: It will be a passive taming, using a special bait made from insect remains (chitin), fish meat, rare flower, honey, organic polymer and worm horn. Interestingly, the taming meter tends to rise more easily at night or in places dark like caves, you must find them in some water sources in or near caves, and you must fish them with special bait to remove them from the bottom of the water and only then will they accept any drop of insects or fish to complete the taming (you can tame him without the bait, but if you try he will, every time, use the light grenade and run away, but if he is attacked the taming meter will be reset and you will have to start again);-
