  1. I can tell by this comment alone that you buy NFTs. Micro transactions shouldn't exist, at all, especially if it means you don't have to play it. And it's not a popular trend to have micro transactions; it's a stain on the gaming industry because of people like you enabling greedy developers to ask for even more money "bEcAuSe OtHeR gAmEs HaVe MiCrO tRaNsAcTiOnS". Shame on you for being a pay whale, and go play Genshin Impact or My Hero: Ultra Rumble if you wanna spend all your money to instantly win a game instead of actually playing it. Here's a perfect quote about your little "opinion": "...What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
  2. Give us the crap crunch! The poo-poo preview, the feces forecast... Just something new!
  3. If the ram attack can make the Tylo leap out of the water if there isn't any target while aimed at the surface, I'm gonna vote for this. I need my free willy moment!
  4. Species: Josephoartigasia Monesi Time: Late Pliocene to Early Pleistocene Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Docile Wild: Roaming the lush landscapes of The Center's swamps, the Josephoartigasia, affectionately known as the 'Prehistoric Capybara' due to their shared appearance (although they are not directly related, more like cousins) brings a unique blend of charm and strength to Ark Survival Evolved. Despite its adorable appearance, this prehistoric rodent possesses a set of intriguing abilities that make it an invaluable companion for adventurous survivors. The Josephoartigasia is a semi-aquatic creature, well-adapted for navigating between the small islands of The Center. With its powerful legs and webbed feet, it moves gracefully both on land and in water, making it a versatile creature for exploration and resource gathering. Its bite, while powerful enough to break trees (meaning it can harvest wood as well as berries) and rivals the strength of a sabertooth or terror bird, are typically only used in self-defense, due to their calming pheromones making them invisible to most predators, or for building of burrows. Domesticated: Survivors who tame the Josephoartigasia discover its true potential as a mobile base and a reliable transport companion. Its friendly nature and gentle temperament make it a docile addition to any tribe. In fact, it's so docile, dinosaurs around it are also soothed! (although it may just be because of the calming pheromones they give off). The true wonder of this creature, however, lies in its saddle wagon. Wagon Saddle Concepts: The Josephoartigasia's unique saddle has two separate designs, one that's a four-wheeled wagon and the other a two-wheeled chariot. (Something like this) The chariot design offers ample storage capacity for resources and supplies, but is limited to two riders (a driver and an armed passenger). Survivors can load up the chariot with ammo and equipment, making a quick vehicle for hit and run tactics, scouting missions, or for quick resource runs (because you're always lacking one of something, amirite?). The chariot also allows for extra chaos, allowing for the driver to reverse the effects of the Josephoartigasia's pheromones, causing any dinosaur not being ridden to go into a temporary rampage and start attacking everything in the immediately area, even tamed dinosaurs from the same tribe and friendly tribe members. The (Actual) Wagon Saddle: The wagon saddle is larger than the chariot, and can be built upon, as the saddle is the size of two foundations side by side. This allows for the wagon to be used as a stealthy mobile base (for scouting and avoiding those pesky alpha tribe patrolling the skies), traveling shops and traders (for those who love to roleplay), for sieging walled off bases as siege ladders and mobile ballista (which are a lot faster than Paracers), for looking over the treetops as sniper towers (when built tall enough), or as a mobile respawn point to protect those around it from wild dinos. Of course, there's also a normal one passenger saddle, but it's rather boring. The Tek version of the normal saddle, however, turns the Josephoartigasia into a high-speed battering ram, with a cowcatcher on the front and a built-in air tank full of the Josephoartigasia's pheromones. This tank lets the rider mix different consumables in with the pheromones to temporarily boost the Josephoartigasia. Stimulant = Faster sprinting (like giving a seven year old a mountain dew) Re-Fertilizer = Increased health regeneration & disabling the food loss from healing (as the berries in its stomach start to regrow what was already digested) Rare Flowers = Boosted damage Taming: Taming the Josephoartigasia requires patience and a gentle approach. Offering one its favorite food (which changes randomly between the different growable crops, different seeds, and beer after every feeding), petting it when it asks to be petted, and not leaving it's "pheromone range" will cause the Josephoartigasia's pheromones (now mixed with the survivor's scent) to turn against the Josephoartigasia, slowly taming it. Once tamed, survivors can begin their adventures with this adorable yet powerful creature. Size: Between an Equus and a Trike. (About this big normally, and slightly bigger for Ark) Stats: About as fast as a charging Trike with the wagon, as fast as a full speed dire bear with the chariot, and can keep up with raptors when not saddled. (forgive me for not being good with actual numbers) Now, into the abilities: (I'm on Playstation, so I'm going to explain it with those buttons) Chariot Saddle - A: Jump (not a big jump, but big enough to leap over a single wall) A (while sprinting): Leap (shorter jump, but leaps across four foundation wide gaps) Pressed left stick: Sprint Right trigger: Bite attack Right trigger (while sprinting): Headbutt Left trigger: Pheromone blast (temporarily disables the ability to attack to all dinosaurs nearby, also raises imprinting on baby dinosaurs caught in the blast by like 5%) Left trigger (while sprinting): Crop dust (releases a trail of pheromones that makes enemy dinos in range rampage) Wagon saddle - A (while sprinting): E-break (instantly stop at the cost of some stamina) Pressed left stick: Sprint (slowly builds up to top speed like a dire bear) Right trigger: Burst of speed (forgos the build-up to instantly reach max speed, however it drains a lot of stamina) Right trigger (while sprinting): Smokescreen (immediately de-aggros wild dinos and temporarily prevents enemies from attacking) Left trigger: Scared Toot (Temporarily boosts speed if an enemy is inside pheromone range, however will cause the Joe to panic and start ignoring its rider's controls until far enough away from said enemy) Left trigger (while sprinting): Fear Fart (Temporarily boosts speed and damage resistance, but will begin to panic even faster). With the Josephoartigasia by your side, you can explore the wonders of The Center map like never before. Look at this thing! Imagine it pulling ballistas up to the front gates of a base! It's so chonky! Its wagon and chariot saddles open up exciting possibilities for nomadic tribes and resourceful survivors, and can be quite the fun addition to The Center. Cast your vote for the Josephoartigasia, and see The Center from a whole new perspective. Go Joe!
  5. I'm all for it because it's shortened to Mongo, and it's giant, so I'd like to see if it could have a web-shooting attack that would drain stamina to open locked dino gates, solely because of this scene from Shrek 2: And the image of using a giant spider to force open a gate to reenact this scene is letting me overcome my arachnophobia and giving me life. The Mongo and the Motobite have my votes, because they're both such cool concepts!
  6. I feel like giving it the ability to roll across the surface of water (because I think roll rats stop rolling when they hit water) or giving it a pack buff with other Motobites *and* Rollrats would really help either separate it from a roll rat like a "baby's first roll rat" or give it a connection to the roll rat so taming both would be better than just taming one or the other. Of course, shrinking it down to be slightly smaller than a human could help in distinguishing the two creatures apart. The roll rat is about twice as big as a human, so having the Motobite being 50% or 75% of a human makes it slightly more unique. Also, giving it a normal saddle and a tek saddle would be interesting. The normal saddle could resemble one of those drift trikes with the Motobite as the front wheel and two wooden wheels behind the player, but the Tek saddle would have the Motobite as the back wheel of a futuristic motorcycle with two front wheels, with some kind of firearm between the front wheels so the player can drift in a circle around their target and fire at it. The first saddle is more for speed and drifting than attacking (including having leather innertubes for the back tires so it can float on water with a rider), but the Tek saddle literally pulls out the big guns and getting a jet boost (at the cost of being slightly slower and sinking into the water if not boosting). Examples of what I meant for the primitive saddle's design (with the Motobite as the front wheel): And what I picture the Tek saddle (with the Motobite as the back wheel) to look like: Roll rats are the steam rollers of ark, so really prop the Motobite up as the motorcycle to differentiate them more. Just a couple additional suggestions for its abilities, and the images aren't mine or what I think the saddles would look like exactly; just what the overall design would look like. Hopefully someone more artistically inclined could whip up a concept for the different saddles I suggested.
  7. Livyatan Melvillei, an ancient species of whale that ate megalodons and rivaled Mosasaurs in size. What's the main difference between a Mosasaur and a Livyatan? I don't see Mosa saddles providing the riders with oxygen underwater and firing off water to surface missiles from its enclosed saddle! I'm not the creative mind behind the ideas for the Livyatan (just an idea for the proposed saddle), so here is a link to the combined thread for the Livyatan from the last creature vote it was a suggestion for: My suggestion for the saddle is, as explained above, a metal saddle that encloses the riders (which can hold a similar number of players to a diplo) and provides them with oxygen, allows for missiles to be fired out of the top and into the air to hit targets on land that are targeted via an aiming system that uses the RTS system to click where the missile (which would Rocket Propelled Grenades for normal ammo or Rocket Homing Missiles if the rider just wants to set the target and forget it for continuous firing on that one particular spot). It could also have a second saddle which would be cheaper to create, but wouldn't provide oxygen to riders and would resemble a simple wooden ship on the back of the Livyatan with cannons along the sides for whale defense (just as Davy Jones intended). It would also gain a defensive buff if it is fed a Megacheleon shell fragment, an speed buff if fed a megalodon tooth, or can be enraged into an attack buff if fed a tuso tentacle. My personal suggestion for taming a Livyatan is to use harpoon guns and tranq spear bolts to lower the "rage" meter while it's trying to run away, then feeding by hand once it's been soothed (via similar minigame to the Equus, where the survivor holds onto one of its fins while it's thrashing about until it can be fed to increase the taming percentage), then working together with it to either kill whatever prey it is currently hunting (like an Amargasaurus, but easier, as there will be a prompt revealing what the Livyatan is craving at that moment) or, if you're lucky enough to have the organs it wants specifically (Megacheleon shell fragments, megalodon teeth, or Tuso tentacles) on hand, you can feed it the organs by hand for a little bit of an increased taming speed instead of hunting down the prey and killing it. Knocking it out results in the Livyatan drowning, as it still has to breach the surface at some point to refill its lungs, although it can hold its breath for an incredibly long amount of time.
