I'm skeptical. I'm happy to pay for more content for my most played game, but I struggle to justify paying over and over for broken releases and funding stupidity. I mean seriously, the game still has some pretty bad bugs and stability issues but you've been developing DLC for a 10 year old game? Seriously?.

Would have been cool if you could have got it working on all platforms before you swanned out of the office for the weekend.

Admittedly the game performs much better on PC, even with much older hardware my daughter manages higher stability with a 1060 than I do on Ps5. But respectfully, Steam metrics don't tell us anything about player retention or other platforms. I know many people who've quit, some over performance, some due to being unwilling to spend hours trying to get into a server to atleast switch to one less populated, general griefing, losing large amounts of things due to server issues, disconnects etc. Our alliance once had close to 20 regular players, we now have 3. You gotta admit, if they actually fixed the issues (some nigh on a decade old at this point) Ark would deserve to be more than a 6 out of 10.

More things to track at any one time, breeding event also means more people on at any one time. Might make sense to raise the rates across the board, spread them out or even implement something different to help manage it. Tracking hundreds if not thousands of dinos is bound to be taxing on server performance. It doesn't excuse WCs performance thus far but it makes sense. Edit:- By having weekends without the breeding rates they can get a baseline of the increase in players without the additional draw. If you can lower the weekend loads while keeping players happy over-all you could improve the player experience. On the other hand it's WC so don't hold your breath.

Seriously? No word on the huge mess up this week? 2 weeks with no breeding event? No word on the worsening performance of Extinction on console, nothing on the toxic behaviour running rampant through the servers? Just one paragraph explaining you're testing "something" and showcases tryna rinse more money from us. You know damned well you're hemorrhaging players, it's almost intentional at this point. Why on earth would anyone would hand over another cent with the game in its current state. Sorry, I love Ark but at this point have zero faith in WC.

WC seem to wanna kill ASA in favour of Ark 2. Just my opinion but recent issues and treatment of the players is really giving that feeling.

Needs to be said, releasing Extinction before the extended break was an aweful idea. Why are many of the same bugs here as were in the original? Why was the communication from you over the Christmas period reading more like someone running a lemonade stand than someone professional?. Games a mess, get it together.

Could be a setting, only issue my ps has with talking is sometimes the chat box bugs out and I have to relog. Only times I see asterisks is when Microsoft platforms talk. Pretty weird tho even "th" gets asterisks.

Playstation is fine, it's Microsoft/ Xbox that has the issue

On playstation we don't see a different icon for xbox / m$ store bought copies or steam based clients, the egregious censorship is on xbox / m$ store copies.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game, but sadly you're messing the game up far too often, in too many ways. In no particular order: Rendering issues (both distance a d flickering) Disconnect issues (river on ab is atrocious) Lag spikes are insane Dinos falling through floor still Boss under map able to hit my base (still, been like a year now) Under sea drops are pointless The whole cryo debacle The edges of surface entrance caves counting as the surface for purposes of a nasty case of sunburn Chat bug is infuriating Mushrooms affecting you even when far above them Not being able to build on platforms (too many structures on server) Still clip into mesh if flying close to drake scar or using drakes on surface Why is it that some of these still exist after such a long time? Is it an inability to fix or just unwillingness? Thus game would be WAY more popular if youd just fix it, get rid of the cryo spam and stick to a timeframe.

Just rebuilt it in a better material, I was the admin of a private server at one point and much prefer the freedom and community of official servers sadly lol, thanks for the replies tho!

For someone who goes overboard with acquiring stuff, this things gonna be legendary. Actually excited for this!
