  2. WEAK!!! they will always extend the goal posts. another +1 to character level cap and another dino who spawns higher than the rest. this is far from fixing what is actually broken. good to see scorched getting some love but it's still inferior. abomination has 50x more metal and metal is life.
  3. arkpocalyplse literally showcased that a small cluster can be won and basically died off because of it. better leave them all in 1 huge spaghetti bowl and let people sort out that mess. wc pointed out the reason behind them wanting to cluster on reddit. they said it'd be easier to spot teamers on a smaller scale and they'd do less dmg on fewer servers. sounds to me like they're preparing to limit the enforcement teams hours. like the officials have a 2 week respond time on reported tickets followed up by a few weeks of "investigations". on a small cluster case, only those servers would be vulnerable to dangers. so "sacrifice" 7-8 servers instead of a possible 15 or more. which again, is stupid. look at arkpocalypse or crossark or any of the smaller clusters. they all die off. also, wc have stated several times they won't do a full s+ integration. too much work. current code can't support all s+ functions. so they are weighing which of the popular ones can be transferred over.
  4. so, apparently your bug claims will stay hidden from the community until one of the "staff" flags it as "working". this means people will create thousands of reports for the exact same problem while the old system allowed you to jump on another thread which was having the exact same premise. being able to see several threads popping after a patch for example was a warning to others as well, to probably try to avoid said circumstances. right now, meh. i hope someone else will report my issues. i remember what the feedback for #badartforbadark was so i have no hope in text form complaints.
  5. yay, first *fresh* servers that are in a cluster of 1 (no transfers between other fresh servers) will be opened up to fight against 1000s of other maps now. too bad they didn't have access to most of the content. megas will steamroll through these MUHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA
  6. why not code the bubble to only port over the dinos and personnel of the tribe who activated the tribute? for just small-tribe servers. rules are harder to enforce than the writing of code that stops people from teaming.

  8. seriously, who here thinks wc will keep enforcing these rules after 2 months, the preliminary deadline for specialty servers ("small tribe")? hell, we get more CoC updates than game patches. easier to roll out but without the manpower, impossible to enforce. really pathetic. as popular as the small-tribe setting may be, i still smell a wipe. wc allergic to balance

  10. hype on the roleplayers side of the camp who have no idea what balance is. pvp guys stay skeptical. looks like a vertical map which leaves an impression of a bigger map, UNLESS you traverse through air. so again fliers would eliminate the obstructions and on-ground dangers. or wc doing another no-flier dlc? and here's another reminder, when the map isn't resourceful, people will abandon it. wc shot their own feet giving players so much metal and poly on abomination. heck, i imagine the new creatures to be nerfed 3x for pvp balance but the initial impact matters more so, it's expectable. i have no faith. i don't like new projects. i just want the previous stuff to be polished and it still hasn't

HOW TO SAVE PVP: DIMINISHING RETURNS ON LEVELING (counters stupid speed builds) NO VISIBLE DECAY TIMER (currently promotes offline raiding) ORP THAT TURNS INTO 3X TURRET DMG AND 3X STRUCTURE RESISTANCE TO DMG (obviously obvious and small tribe servers are in desperate need of it) and fix your god damn bugs. i can make a list that's longer than both my arms even though i haven't played for the last 2-3 months. these bugs still exists and have been present for years. you saying having no idea what those bugs are is bs. browse your forums ffs. i still recall the response to #badartforark...
  12. farming bps the old way is more reliable and efficient. and as i've understood, the no-lvl requirement to these fossil mounds will break beginner servers where people are capped at lvl 44, not having access to yellow/red beacon loot which would set them over the "hump". and rexes are stupid af. it wont affect megas though as they already have 60+ mutations on their line, hatching at 18k and 650dmg. you don''t understand how much it pisses me off that they re-skin dinos and call it new content. this tek rex is pathetic. bug fixes are worth more to your community than the poop you are spewing out of your mouth @wc. git gut nubz. roleplayers don't flourish on your official servers, that's why you're so out-of-tough from what people really want.
  13. @people who don't understand the fuzz over skins. well, since it's not an actual dino, you won't be seeing it in the wild. no natural habitat and no sounds, no taming of them. also, skin will probably cover the blood spatter and unique color mutations your "mannequin" may had.
  14. seriously, how is one supposed to counter an offline raid? on the large cluster, you had international help to fill the holes your tribe had in daily activity but with 6 members the head scratching starts. tankers are too powerful. wc too stupid to code diminishing returns for humans and dinos. whoever though having a visible decay timer was a good thing should be kicked to the balls. that timer allows weasels to hide in the bushes and wait for the very second everyone logs off. 100k bullets easily soaked in under 30min with 2 stegos. honestly, how hard is it to code ORP that has 3x bullet dmg and 3x dmg resistance on structures? y u no skill, wc? y u no post in ur own forum?
  15. feels like a 10 year old game where devs have scattered onto their next projects and servers are being run rampant by the sick masochists, making up their own rules. trust me when i say this but neither of the official game modes provide the "community content" advertised here. there's nothing about wiping 2 years worth of progress on launch day, the way they did it. or SOTF and the tournaments where, as far as i recall, 2 asian teams collaborated and ticked out their 1st and 2nd standings. i'm sorry to be the negative guy again but that's where things are 3 years in. the birthday event is just a reminder of how time has flown on "what could have been's"
  16. @vaylain sorry to hit you with the old slogan "go unofficial" but that's the only useful advice that i can give you, from my personal experiences. and trust me when i say this but isolated servers die quicker than you might think. it's so easy to take over and hold a single server. our 20-30 active player alliance wiped a cluster network within a month and it was dead. half the players stopped there. no enemy left so the future ahead was pve...which is meh. and you cant let anyone build up because a 2 man tribe can easily offline you and your 500+ turrets. ORP may stop that from happening but it opens up another bag of trickeries. like owning an alt account to block off resources/caves and only log in every 1-2 weeks to reset the decay timers. pin code whatever you need for the main to have access to. it's being complained about in this forum also. man, wc be no-skilled roleplayers
  17. http://steamcharts.com/app/346110 this is a 3yo project. don't expect to win the popularity contest anymore. you're better off just doing evo events every weekend. 3rd dlc will be the last major content barring any significant balancing changes (that are much needed), i dont see you guys pulling in new people. the mod community can give this game another year or two but yeah, it's basically over. ark is dead, thanks to the unmoderated servers and toxic community you created. gj. keep steering this boat to shore, you blind "adventurers"
  18. should i go and ruin the experience for beginners? i definitely should. be lvl 44 in under 30min . and you think you can stop me from riding a giga? i laugh at you. i doubt you did any nerfs to fishing. plus cannon ball taming monsters like titan and golem. things are far from "vanilla" when there are OP creatures that dont need a saddle, like griffin and wyvern. i wanna see nooblets run away from my squad . btw, highest explosive is grenade which does 237 dmg to metal so will require 43 to take down 1 metal wall. metal may be engram limited for lvl 45 but that doesnt necessarily mean wc have removed it from blue drops, which are lvl 25. fabricator from lvl 35 purple drops. demolish oil pumps for electronics...you havent thought this through at all.
  19. this is utter bs. you are forcing people to join large tribes on pvp as otherwise they'd be annihilated. your fault for not limiting tribe size or cutting down the alliance numbers. how the heck are we supposed to know if our "teammates" hack when there are so many. without spectator mode, i'd already have reported shroud...still would looking at his pov. and mesh bases...i've personally fought several hackers/meshers and reported them swiftly but the sluggish few weeks/months of detective work on WC side wont get you your gear back. unless you're a big streamer and have your own pocket dev as a fanboy, which most of us dont. besides, it's somewhat impossible to track box-box and 123 players. again, your fault WC. ffs, there are infinite number of ways to exploit the system. what is sever enough to be reported is beyond me. like, i'd consider bodybags being a serious issue, allowing for no-weight transportation...and everyone does that. i've seen several funny but broken quetzal builds for taming and transporting that can be borderline broken, or not as it was intended for. inevitably this game will make people quit. still so broken and you wont be compensated when things do go south, even with video evidence. i so do hate WC for ruining a game that had so much potential.
  20. i haven't played for over 2 months now and the list of changes wont be changing my stance. some of these "bug fixes" have already been implemented months ago but didnt roll trough successfully and some other crucial problems still havent been dealt with. like personal pins for vaults on a large tribe or tuso grab through the mesh. or when you get hammered by cheaters you cant do anything but report and wait for days, whilst your base will be wiped in hours. pvp requires 24/7 activity from a tribe but even then, the bigger tribe wins. having no limits on their size (alliance too) means steamrollling on the smaller guy. i guess if i ever wanted to play this game again, i'd have to venture to the private servers. kinda sucks that the officials with more stable future are set up like trash
  21. for gods sake, cut the mutations to 5 in total or smth. zerg tribes are hatching 480+ dmg rexes and you cant balance that for your bosses. they are also hp stacking their tankers so 1 will do the job of 5. you know, since domesticated levels (#grinder_life) will add a % according to the base which is already beyond bonkers. btw, whoever thought 40 stat points was reasonable addition for breeding should be kicked to the balls. yet again i urge you to limit tribe sizes and alliances to accommodate the beach bobs that discover your game. otherwise they'll be steamrolled by the 70+ member alpha squad that most of your servers have been taken over by. 10 man tribes and 2 alliances means that if they would share the real estate, they'd be only 30 and any further allies would have to stay out of turret range. btw, a base has 4 sides. without knowing which side the enemy chooses, you'd have to divide those "100 turrets" equally. so in reality the offensive side will maybe have to deal with half of those. a "penis build" paracer will in most cases walk through these numbers and allow for the rider to safely go boom boom.
  22. beyond stupid. i thought WC had an inkling of what was wrong with the fundamentals but as it turns out, they are clueless. progression through grind is one thing but when you can't protect it offline is another. anyone with handful of hours on pvp knows a tribe of 10-20 gets steamrolled within an hour or 2. that's because those guys can't be online 24/7, and when your enemy goes through battlelog, he'll see the downtimes and when to strike. you, allowing 70 member tribes and 10 alliances, are pissing on the beach bobs that look at your so-pve-roleplay promo video and decide to give it a shot. reality is a horror story. a single stego can allahu akbar through those 100 turrets and blow a hole to the base (because half of those would be covering the other side of the base xD). doesnt even have to be a stego. wyvern has enough hp to drop stegos safely. similarly a griff can divebomb under your dinos and be hidden from turret sight. i mean even paracers are already updo 70k hp in the new "cluster". imagine what those would do against 100 turrets. if you prioritize on paracers, then your roof will be open for business. basically, everyone should claim caves. fewer access points means you can concentrate your turrets again. will also result to undermeshing for which you have no counter and no protection by WC. your base will be gone within minutes in that 6x zone and a "cheating report" will take weeks to go through. no refund, no rollback. pathetic how much is wrong with this game. i assume WC watched the stream videos and thought this would counter the days if not week long raids. in that respect, yes, it does affect the result. the turd in your coffee is that rates would have to be 5x for people to not just lose it. anyways, gl WC. i will be eagerly checking your player count . i expect abomination to be hot stuff for a month or two and in 6 months the game to be rejected by the majority of your fans.
